TL Note:

Yuuta makes a pun with the word for “normal (普通 / futsuu)” and their unit name “2wink (pronounced tsuuwinku)” which combines to make “Futsuuwink”. I couldn’t come up with a pun using both of these words/meanings so I opted for alliteration instead.

Kouga: (Argh, dammit! I don’t get it! Just what is goin’ on!?)

(I don’t understand! I’m worried about Hakaze-senpai and Hinata since they’ve just been thrown out into the desert.)

(But we don’t even know where we currently are, either!

(This probably isn’t Japan, right? It’s supposed to be the middle of winter right now, but it’s so friggin’ hot! What’re they makin’ us do here…!?)

Kaoru: You think so too!? Ugh, there’s so many things I have to ask Adonis-kun, like why on Earth is the box crushed.

But, when he looks at the box with such fondness, it just feels wrong to ask so bluntly about the situation.

Rei: Kaoru-kun, you’re talking like a nice, understanding, senpai, but…

That box he so fondly admires isn’t from Lady Anzu.

More importantly, Kaoru-kun wants to know who exactly got him that box of chocolates.

As a side note, it seems like Tenma-kun enlisted Lady Anzu’s help in making the chocolates.

Rei: That’s right. It’s because she was so dedicated to keeping her promise to Tenma-kun that it caused a peculiar misunderstanding.

Koga: Oi, vampire bastard! Hakaze-senpai! Adonis too!

The Knights finished and AKATSUKI took to the stage, and everyone’s ravin’ about how fuckin’ spectacular it is!

It’s apparently nothin’ like their usual shtick, but still somethin’ good. All these females are makin’ a big fuss about it, just as much as the Knights performance!

Rei: Heh, AKATSUKI, hm?

Let’s take a look see, then. I wonder what kind of performance they entertain their customers with, I have to say I’m intrigued to see myself  ♪

When I don’t understand somethin’ I’m studyin’, I can just ask him to explain it.

He knows the schedule for lessons an’ events, so he’s the best guy to ask.

Rei: Uh-huh. Thought ya were some lone wolf who didn’t hang out with anyone, so I find this rather surprisin’. …Are ya gettin’ friendly with Bouzu?

Koga: Lone wolf? Are ya talkin’ about me, Sakuma-senpai!?

Rei: Nah, well, I don’t like havin’ people around me all the time~ I mean, can’t really be helped ‘cause that’s how I live my life, but I can get real tired of it sometimes.

I haven’t made a full on costume before, so I’m nervous an’ dissatisfied all ‘round.

Koga: Kyahaha ☆ What’s up with ya, Hasumi-senpai, you’re rockin’ and rollin’~!

Keito: Aah Sakuma-san, Oogami… You’re talking like this doesn’t concern you; You’re going to be wearing this too.

I asked Kiryuu to prepare these custom-made outfits for today.

Since Sakuma-san was abroad, we didn’t have accurate measurements of his body since…

So the lengths on his outfit in particular might not be right. Try it on, and if it doesn’t feel right, the proper adjustments will be made.

Kuro: Yeah. Ya included that bit when ya commissioned me, so I’ll make sure it’s taken care of.

Keito: I’ll count on it. We’re going to be putting on a rather extreme performance, so it’s possible our outfits may get damaged while we’re out there singing.

Accepting jobs on campus without permission like that is against the school rules, though.

In return for overlooking that fact, I got these outfits made at an amazing price.

I figured if they weren’t done in time, we could use one of the communal outfits from Yumenosaki Academy. But he did his best and pulled through, and I admire that. Once again, thank you, Kiryuu.

Kuro: Ya don’t have to thank me. More importantly, you guys are almost up—stop talkin’ an’ get ready.

So Sakuma, and uh… Oogami, was it? Change into your outfits, both of ya.

Rei: Hmm. I understand, roger that. I think I can predict what kinda request you’re gonna make of me today, Bouzu. It’s pretty much what I expected of ya, can’t wait to see how it turns out.

However, Kaoru-kun lacks concentration of today's shooting.

✦ he loves resting his head on yours while he's wrapped around your back. he finds it soooo cute just how you are the perfect size for him to cuddle. oh cuddling! i think cuddling is his absolutely fav activity ever. and the smaller the place, the better. wanna know why? extreme cuddling. he's gonna hold you and never ever let you go, keeping you close to his chest just as much as he can. so it's even better when he's got an actual excuse to do it!!

I remembered another interesting thing, so.

Here's how other characters of the game describe Sakuma Rei in the plot and events (well, the ones I remembered):

Hokuto Hidaka said that next to him, he involuntarily relaxes and trusts him, because Rei reminds him of his grandmother (it's both cute and funny heheh)

Midori Takamine mentioned that in the presence of Rei, he feels calmer than usual, and "I have high hopes for you" from Rei does not make Midori feel burdened, but, on the contrary, inspired.

Ogami Koga (do I even need to talk about him lol) considers Rei his main role model, Koga has literally partially adopted his old manner of speech and behavior, carries with him a guitar that Rei gave him once (and will protect it with his life). Despite the disappointment that Koga felt when he saw exhausted Rei in the third year (it was not disappointment, but concern, in fact), he still admires him and looks up to him. And Koga is also afraid of Rei, when Rei in anger. For the most part, none of this was said out loud, but the most important and only idol for Koga is Rei and it will always be so.

Kaoru Hakaze calls Rei strangely helpless in everyday life (and he's right!), but, in addition, he once expressed his concern about the fact that Rei seems to be wasting his limitless abilities to work as an idol, although he could work in absolutely any field and achieve great success everywhere.

Adonis Otogari deeply respects Rei, although he finds that he sometimes does very strange things. Adonis is also grateful to Rei for taking care of him when he was forced to change his place of residence, as well as for the fact that Rei explained many things to him, helped him with the flight, with adaptation to a new place and did not leave him alone.

Rei: Umu. Forgive me for this, but they are nothing but marionettes.

Koga: But, who created these things?

During the experiment, we had robots servin’ us food, but nothin’ like this-–nothin’ like robots with livin’ people’s faces.

They claimed it was to stop unnecessary stimulus but—don’t ya think that was kinda weird?

Rei: I was under the impression that the plain-faced boy was Mashiro Tomoya-kun. However, those were most certainly not real.

We accepted the experiment proposal via HoldHands, and were guided through the entire experience by machines.

There must be an éminence grise​ of sorts, who is taking advantage of us for profit—-though at this point in time, I cannot say who.

Kaoru: They told us AIIE was a secret project in ES, so it’s probably some higher-up in ES.

Hey hey!! Of course you may!! I love Rei a lot so I was really happy to see this in my inbox <3 This got way longer than I thought it was and I got kind of carried away with this ahdabd I hope you still enjoy!

General Yandere! Rei headcanons (feat. Ritsu)

You two first met due to you becoming a good friend of Ritsu. Rei, upon hearing this, immediately became curious. As far as he was aware, it was rare to see his brother around people other than Mao and the other members of Knights, so he wanted to get to know you!

And because Ritsu stubbornly refused to bring you over so Rei could introduce himself, he decided to go and meet you himself instead. After all, he wanted to see for himself what kind of person you were. As a doting older brother, he couldn´t allow Ritsu to be friends with someone bad for him!

To say you were surprised to see a man with such striking red eyes that seemed strangely familiar approach you after one of your classes was an understatement. You were tempted to get up and leave, sensing trouble arriving but against your better judgement, you stayed.

And that was what proved to be perhaps your biggest mistake

After introducing himself as Rei Sakuma, Ritsu´s older brother, you two started talking. You had to admit, the way he spoke was quite unique but charming nontheless.

It would be a lie to say that Rei disliked you, quite the opposite instead. The more he heard you talk and laugh, the more he was able to understand how you had managed to befriend his dear brother.

When he had first set out to seek you out, he had just intended to talk to you until he made up his mind about you but now, a feeling unlike anything he had ever felt before threathened to consume him. There was just something about you, something he couldn´t accurately describe but felt in his very soul.

Rei Sakuma made a second decision that day. This wouldn´t be the last time you two would meet, he would make sure of that

And that was indeed what happened. Like some sort of miracle, you two would keep running into eachother at school, the “old man” always taking some time to talk to you. And with each meeting, he would grow even fonder of you. Until eventually, that fondness would turn into something far more sinister

Obsession

You noticed Rei was starting to get more protective, insisting to accompany you wherever you went as a means to “protect you”

“ Society is not made up of saints, allow this old man to escort you to the place you need to go to, it is not safe for an innocent soul such as yourself to walk these streets on your lonesome.”

So never one to say no, you agreed to his request, not noticing the unusually cold glare he directed at any person that you came upon on your way. The world was rotten, he couldn´t risk anyone getting too close to you and harming you in any way. That was exactly why he needed to keep you close, to protect you. At least that is what he told himself when he decided to show you his coffin one day.

You were marveling at the construction before you, of course by now knowing about the whole vampire thing. As you leaned closer to properly look at the inside of the coffin, you suddenly felt a strong push on your back, propelling you forward with a scream

A loud thump and a click echoed throughout the room as you fell into the coffin and soon after, the lid fell shut

Turning around,you pounded your fists against the lid only for it to not budge an inch.

Locked, you realized in terror

“Rei, what is this? This is not funny! Unlock the coffin this instant!”

But no matter how much you screamed, the lid remained shut.

“Shhh, do not worry about a thing, y/n. I will guide you to a place most safe where no person will ever raise a finger against your form. It is of my utmost priority to ensure your happiness, dear little one.”

Silent sobs escaped your mouth as you realized your fate. You felt the prison you were entrapped in move, the wheels making up for the owner´s lack of physical strength. This continued for quite some time until suddenly, the movement stopped. You held your breath when the lid opened up.

Seeing Rei´s admittedly rather soft face still made you want to punch him because what the hell did he think he was doing? Where even were you? You were ready to practically jump out of the coffing when Rei held your wrists to keep you laying down.

“Darling, please stay calm. We are at home now, no one can disturb us anymore. I have felt this way for quite some passage of time now, that everyone looking your way was secretly hatching a plan to take you away from me, to harm you in unimaginable ways. Luring you in with a false sense of hope before utterly breaking your precious heart into tiny fragments. I could not allow that to happen.”

Your mind was reeling, not being able to comprehend the fact that Rei of all people had basically kidnapped you right now. What did he mean with taking you away from him? What kind of feelings did he hold for you?

“Kukuku, it seems I have not made myself clear enough yet. I love you, y/n, stay with me for centuries to come.”

You faintly realized that the room you were staying in was Rei´s bedroom, a silent hope for Ritsu to come in and save you bubbling up inside you.

As if on cue, the door opened and Ritsu stepped into the room, a lazy smile on his face

“Ritsu please! You need to help me! Rei he-”

You turned your head when you heard Rei´s low chuckle. 

“ Do not worry dear brother, you will get your fair share of time with them, just like I had promised you.”

From that point onward, you never left that room again. Rei would spend most of his time with you when he didn´t have idol work to do. Ritsu too would often visit you, cuddling up to you and clinging onto you as if nothing had changed. As it turned out, after Rei first met you he talked about you with his brother and after they both noticed their affection for you growing, Ritsu for once approved of a plan his brother had made which was kidnapping you and bringing you to their house so they could spend as much time with you as they wanted. Rei was more than willing to share you with his brother while Ritsu was more grumpy about it, often trying to lazily shoo his brother away when you were spending time with him.

Rei was a very doting “boyfriend” all things considered, always asking you how you were doing and bringing you gifts he thought you might like.

He loves giving you kisses on your forehead, it feels very personal to him and he uses it as a means to make you feel protected. After all, he still has your best interest at heart, just handled in his own twisted way.

At night, Rei would curl up with you in your now shared coffin, the tight space making it so you were laying against him, his arms wrapped tightly around you to make sure you couldn´t get away from him

He may or may not  watch you when you are asleep, brushing any stray hairs away from your beautiful face as he softly gazes at you. He´s nocturnal after all, so you fall asleep much quicker than he does, why not use that lost time to admire his wonderful darling?
