you’re fighting an apocalypse with cordelia when she hears you scream. she tries to remain calm as she searches around for you. that’s when she spots you laying on the ground, covered in blood. she rushes over to you, tugs your body onto her lap and holds you close. you struggle to catch your breath but still manage to speak, “cordelia, kiss me. please kiss me. i cannot die without showing you what you truly mean to me.” she hovers her hand over your bleeding wound and you can feeling her magic course through you. although she was exhausted from fighting, she used all the strength she had left to heal you. “you’re not going to die, my love,” she says, but still, she leans down and kisses your aching lips anyways.

that scene where it’s heavily implied kuya almost fought with yakumo once it was discovered eiden got injured and then lost in the deadzone lives in my head rent free tbh.
like nobody, except for edmond who got to see yakumo’s bad side the first time they met, has ever seen the serpent so angry. it’s far from the emotional, desperate anger they thought a person like him would have. his anger is cold, calculating. it turns him into a completely different person, one who almost looks calm if not for the glint of murderous intent in his eyes and the dark energy radiating off of him.
sure, olivine and edmond try their best to calm him down, but when yakumo gets this angry he can hardly listen to reason. edmond’s about to take on yakumo himself, if only to prevent the serpent from doing something drastic that would get himself hurt or worse, but quincy and kuya of all people end up beating him to it.
quincy ends up restraining yakumo from behind, holding on far tighter than he had expected to, not only to keep him still but to prevent him from hurting himself. despite his scrawny appearance, yakumo is strong when he wants to be.
kuya’s enjoying the show, but he inevitably gets tired of watching the same fruitless struggle. pulling out his pipe and preparing a concoction that’s sure to leave yakumo unconscious for the next several hours, he leans in close to the serpent.
“settle down now, hm? you don’t want to make me do something i’ll regret.”
but instead of cowering away, like kuya expected him to, yakumo hisses, a low, dangerous sound that leaves everyone in the room (apart from kuya, of course) feeling a little wary. and then, even more unexpectedly, yakumo spits out,
“i’d like to see you try.”
kuya can’t help but bark out an incredulous laugh. since when had the timid little serpent become so feisty? this was the same man he often teased to tears with only a few words? this side of yakumo was far more interesting to play with. but, unfortunately, that was besides the point.
kuya smirks, mentally reminding himself to make yakumo the target of his.. attention for the next few days, before sauntering even closer to the serpent and tapping his nose mockingly.
“hush, little one. no need to embarrass yourself any further. rest now, and everything will be fine when you awaken.”
he then takes a lazy drag from his pipe, the end of which was now glowing ominously, before blowing a puff of smoke as close as he could into yakumo’s mouth without sealing their lips together in a proper kiss.
yakumo’s out like a light before he can even begin to understand what’s happening.

it means so fucking much to me that louies have kept up the tradition of passing out flags and doing rainbow projects at louis shows despite everything. and it means so fucking much to me that louis saw us doing that during his first tour and joined us by adding rainbows to his visuals. as tough as it gets to be a fan sometimes and as much as i’ve started to focus on other things, louis tomlinson always finds a way to remind me why i call him the love of my life

how long do y’all think Ashe had to sleep in Mark’s bed with him after what happened to her mom. How often do you think Mark would try to put Ashe to bed and she’d run to him minutes after he leaves her room and begged him not to leave her. How often do you think Mark would hold her while she slept, staying awake for nights on end so that when she woke up screaming and sobbing from nightmares he could be awake to comfort her.
Do you think she moved back to her own room on her own or that she got to an age where Mark slowly started making her go back to her room instead. Do you think he’d sit in there and wait until she fell asleep or with his work one day he just stopped letting her crawl into bed with him. Do you think there were nights where when she could only fall asleep in his bed he’d carry her back to her room and she’d wake up, alone, in the room that damn book was in, do you think she’d just scream until Mark ran in to check on her?
