I love how you write lighthearted scenes with Law, it’s always the perfect balance of comedy while staying true to his character! So, may I propose: the fake relationship trope with Law x reader?? Yknow the iconic scenario when two characters who are definitely not dating find themselves in a sticky situation so the reader pulls the ‘oh this is my boyfriend/girlfriend’ card completely out of the blue and the other person just has to kinda go along with it so as not to blow their cover?

Idek how that would even come about in a scenario involving Law but I just know he would be so exasperated but still committed to going along with it hehe

The party is beautiful. 

Soft orchestral music plays over the soft din of conversation, the sway of couples in lavish clothing and practiced weaving of staff through the clusters of socialites, trays of food held aloft and offered at various intervals.

Flute of champagne in hand, you watch from your place near a pillar, half-studying the people around you, half watching the fizz of tiny bubbles in your glass. 

"Not much of a dancer?" The speaker's tone is light and conversational, and when you look over, you half-recognize the man now standing next to you. He's the grandson of the man hosting this entire soiree ㅡ and you turn towards him.

"Unfortunately no," you answer with a demure smile, then dip your head to look through your eyelashes, tapping the rim of your glass against your lip. "I'm waiting on someone." 

You know his type, playing right into the invisible appeal as his gaze flickers, then brightens as he offers you his arm. "Perhaps I can at least offer a dance in the meantime?" 

Your smile widens just a little, the careful bat of your eyes. "Perhaps you can."

Your flute is set down in favor of tucking your arm into his and allowing him to sweep you out further onto the floor with the whisper of your dress against your legs. It's heavy and far from what you're accustomed to, but worth the extra beri for the way you fit right in amongst the others.

The press of his other hand is warm against your back, just shy of touching exposed skin ㅡ and you welcome the touch of dizziness from the champagne to keep from balking at the idea of him touching you. 

"This person you're waiting for," your partner says as he leads you through a graceful arc past another couple, "shame on them for keeping such a lovely creature such as yourself waiting for so long."

Your skin crawls, even as you laugh softly. "I assure you, they'reㅡ"

"There you are." A familiar voice makes you turn, finding sharp gold eyes focused on you, then your partner. Trafalgar Law looks less than thrilled about much at any given moment but right now, he looks livid, jaw taut as he watches you and your partner scramble for something to say.

"My apologies," your dance partner says, his expression shifting to mask his discomfort at Law's sudden appearance. "I take it that this is your…"

"My boyfriend," you answer smoothly, sheepish and apologetic as you disengage your arm from his and step towards Law. "It was lovely to dance with you. But if you'll excuse us for a moment?"

You don't give him or Law a chance to answer, grabbing the latter's hand to pull him with you as you hurry away as quickly as your dress and situational awareness will allow you. You're still working, after all, even if Law showing up has potentially jammed a wrench into the cogs. 

What is he even doing here? You want to demand answers, furious that he'd decided to show up unannounced ㅡ like he doesn't trust you. That alone both stokes your fury and douses it in cold water, an odd juxtaposition that ultimately just makes you feel sick.

Law lets you drag him down the hallway, the hard click of your shoes against the marble floor, studying the bounce of your carefully styled hair, the way the jeweled end of your hairpin sways with your movement. 

You'd been lucky enough to weave your web of deception strong enough to secure yourself a place to stay close to your target, and you let go of Law's hand in favor of fussing with the door before yanking him inside.

Law watches your shoulders sag with visible relief as you shut the door, then turn towards him. "What were you thinking? I had this under control." 

He knows. He knows you're more than capable of handling things like this, have proven yourself time and time again ㅡ he doesn't need to check in on you. But he doesn't want to admit the real reason, that he'd been jealous of someone else's hands on you, touching you the way he should be. 

Of course he'd never admit that, he'd rather take it to the grave with him than offer the open wound of vulnerability when he isn't sure you'd return his feelings. 

"You know what?" You say when he's quiet for too long, tone sharp with hurt wrapped in exhausted disbelief at his actions, "I don't want to hear it." 

He should apologize. Tell you that he hadn't meant to almost blow your cover, that he hadn't been thinking ㅡ but instead he watches you cross the room with the rustle of your dress, trying to clean up the clutter of just hours before.

"I just wish you'd trust me," you say, and Law can tell that it's more than just tonight that's bothering you. 

"I do trust you."

You scoff, silence broken by the hard click of plastic cased cosmetics that you toss roughly back into your bag and then reach to tug the pin out of your hair. "Could have fooled me."

Your tone is scathing, all raised hackles and sharp teeth ㅡ remnants of the wild thing you'd once been and in some ways still are. You, for all your sharp edges and uncomfortable truths, still find a way to nestle in his chest, tuck yourself in his heart in ways that terrify him. 

Your huff of frustration breaks Law out of his thoughts to find you struggling with the zipper at the top of your back, and he crosses the room without thinking.

The silent bat of his hand against yours makes you stiffen, hands moving to the bodice of your dress as he pinches the key of the zipper between his fingers.

"I do trust you," he repeats softly. He struggles, the drag of the zipper teeth agonizingly slow. "I apologize if I haven't made that clear." 

You stare at the mess of your bed. "I don't understand what the issue is, then." Your words are a knife you know how to wield and do it well, tight grip on the hilt and sharp tip at proverbial underbelly. "You do your job, I do mine. It's simple."

And yet it isn't. As much as Law wishes that it were, it's far from it. Because he cares about you, cares for you in ways he's trying so hard not to. 

The slow gap of your skin exposed, soft and unguarded that entices him, makes him want in ways he knows he shouldn't. You should pull away, demand he leave, that you'll see him later when you return to the Polar Tang. 

You don't. Instead, you let him pull the zipper down further. And maybe, if he were a different man, that would be enough. 

It isn't. 

The ghost of his fingers against your back makes you stiffen, but you don't discourage him. They slide along the slope of your shoulders, make an invisible path he entertains the brief fantasy of following with his mouth.

And maybe he could, maybe you'd let him ㅡ after all, you'd told those party goers he was your boyfriend. It'd been hasty, quick thinking on your part, but brilliant ㅡ as always. You never miss a beat, always thinking ahead. What he admires about you is the same thing that drives him crazy ㅡ you're always ahead of him, even in this. He knows, and is aware all he has to do is meet you in the middle.

He pulls away. 

"Do you regret allowing me to join your crew, Law?" Your voice, ever that blade, slices through the uncomfortable silence to twist deeper into the ache of his chest. "If you do, this is the perfect time to tell me to leave. I'm sure you can come up with something to tell the others."

You're offering him an out. A way to escape this complicated tangle, let him deflect and deny until you're nothing but a distant memory and a handful of reminders left around the Polar Tang. He should let you leave. 

"I want you," he says instead, and he means to follow that up with something, but it falls flat in the now stilted gap between you. 

You exhale. "You want me." 

You turn towards him, moonlight against the slope of your neck, the dip of your collarbone. Your eyes gleam, flashing with emotion. "And how would you have me, Law? Fully clothed, head turned so our lips can never meet?" 

That knife slips between his ribs and up, punctures his heart, lets him silently bleed out between every breath. He's reminded that you don't wear the boiler suit, your clothes unadorned with his jolly roger ㅡ a reminder that he does not own you (nor does he want to. He just wants you to stay.), and you are not his. But you could be, you tell him silently. You need him to meet you in the middle. That's all.

Something in your face shifts, breaking in his silence. "I will have you without armor, Trafalgar Law, or I will not have you at all."

"You like jazz? Jazz is chaos within order. Got to love the whole band. Vibraphone, saxophone, trumpet, flute, piano, guitar, drums, bass… Go, rhythm section, go! The song sounds tender at times and aggressive at others as different instruments pop up at different times. Sometimes they follow Kazui’s voice (“follow the king of the masquerade”). Sometimes they get to be the focus. You have the chill piano one moment and the screaming guitar in the next.

You’ve got a lovely “jingle” (“Lie until it gets better…”) which occurs at the beginning, middle, and end. It fits the “newspaper ad” style of the video really well. Also at the very end, there’s one more line that gives the jingle an upward contour, giving a sense of finality. “Until you can meet the king of the masquerade.” You’re there now.

The two verses start off differently before they take on a similar melody. It feels like Kazui is talking to a different person in each verse.

The chorus is a beautiful façade the first time and a sinister truth the second time.

The opening for solos shows that this jazz song means business. I love how the saxophone and trumpet especially get in your face. And with the tacet on vocals, the walking bass really shines if you lend it your ear.

And the smoke break! Silence is golden. Glass click. Lighter. Huff.

As always, Kazui’s voice is super deep. He hits even lower notes this time around. He’s a fifth lower than the next lowest singers (Haruka and Shidou)."

FIRST OF ALL the vocals????? BEAUTIFUL. His va put his whole pussy into this song and you can tell!! The way he sings the chorus is so damn addicting I'm so in love with him. His voice is more or less stable throughout the entire thing until the final chorus but you can hear the emotion peaking out which fits perfectly with Kazui keeping everything hidden. The way his voice turns into a sort of whisper during "all the things I wanna do that I can't say outloud"??? The way his voice starts trembling during "this feeling it's yearning to be satisfied"???? The way his voice turns into a sort of whisper AND starts trembling during "hey, if I said I liked-liked you, what would you?"?????? HEAVENLY! You can really feel how afraid Kazui is under his disguise and my heart breaks a little everytime I listen. Not to mention how absolutely powerful his voice gets at the climax!!!!!! It's insane!!!!!!! It's genius!!!!!! It makes me wild makes me crazy makes me eat my walls!!!!!!!!!!

THE SMOKE BREAK?????? What other song has something as powerful as that huh???? This isn't just a song produced by the milgram machine using his memories, this is HIS song and he is OWNING IT! The music builds up so much and gets so intense right before it, I can literally feel myself get tense and starting holding my breath right before he takes the break and everything relaxs… it's not just a break for him, but a break for the viewer. The song is spiralling out of control just like his life and his lies and he has no choice but to put it to a quick stop before its too much to handle.

THE IMAGERY IS WILD!!!!! He's a magician!!! Little magic guy!!!! Using tricks and lies to amaze and captivate the people around him! Trying desperately to magic his own feelings into something else! But it's all fake! It's all tricks and no matter how hard he tries he can never actually change himself into what he wants! But he's trying to convince himself the same way he's convinced his audience!! And when you're watching a magic act, are you there for the magician themself or are you there to watch the show?? The people in his life only cared for him when he performed for them, but they didn't give a drop of love to who he was a person! ALSO the transformation of the wedding ring to a cigarette to the dove at the end??? Makes me wild every single time! Right infront of his wife, he showed her that their marriage was something unhealthy for him that was slowly killing him from the inside. AND THEN he uses it to harm himself???? And then he turns that cigarette into a dove- a representation of love and literally TEARS INTO IT. He tears his marriage apart with his mouth!!! AKA HIS WORDS. makes me wild. Also fun fact Kazui says he started smoking because when he was younger it was "just natural for everyone to smoke" and that lines up with his reasons for marriage perfectly.

Kazui looks really hot in it. You should vote for Cat because Kazui is insanely attractive. What other reason do you need huh? Hot gay middle aged man.

Propaganda for THE PURGE MARCH:

"Despite the shorter length, the Purge March has several distinct sections in its structure.

It starts with a rolloff, and then… they don’t follow it. Amane isn’t here to follow the beat.

There’s the spoken-word intro and the upbeat first verse listing the tenets. The prechorus (“dou shiyou mo nai…”) has an amen break. The most-sampled four-bar drum beat. Well, there’s half of it. Is it supposed to mean something? Can I get an amen?

The chorus is so, so cheerful… unless you’re actually listening to the lyrics (“I’ll crush your throat too”) or watching the video. And it’s super catchy.

The somber second chorus, with Amane’s lower singing voice and mournful spoken words, leads into the final chorus, with new lyrics and a more forceful tone. The once-meaningless chanting now has real words. “You’re sorry? I don’t care! Please go ahead and die already.” You can hear Amane’s anger despite the cheerful melody. She harmonizes in the final phrase, as if to say “we’re in this together, me and my little color guard troop.” And finally, it’s just her. Speaking. "Oboetemasuka?" Accompanied by only a single drum.

She is both Amane Momose and not. She upholds the doctrines that she was raised with, but she can’t."

"Purge March is geniunaly one of my favorite pieces of fiction both in and out of the context of trauma. Its fantastically directed and composed. The batton twirling is spetacular and energetic, the set and character design of Amane conveys a lot about the world she’s in and the story she’s telling. Purge March contextulizes a lot of Magic in both expected and unexpected ways (insert the entire cat symbolism thesis here) Purge March casts Amane in the role of a scary child. The glowing eyes, the framing of Amane as Above the viewer, the brutality and catharsis of it all. It seems tailored made to make you Scared of her. It’s a continuation of the cycle of abuse that we the audience repeated in T1 when we gave her that verdict. A red flashing warning sign about the Inhumanity and Monsterous qualities of Amane Momose. But Amane as a monster is fufilling and freeing. Again, its deeply cathartic. I would write more if I wasnt so sleepy at the moment but its just some Fantastic work overall. Purge March is also just fantasitic vocally and also hids electricity sounds in the instrumental which I think is evil and awesome."

-The LYRICS. They work so well but it’s also creepy AF considering it’s a child who’s singing it.

-“So there is no second time, I’ll give back the judgment that you gave to me!”

-The overlapping part… gives me chills everytime.

-Building off the last point, the last “I’ll crush your throat too.” Ouch.

-“Remember MY cries, MY repents, MY words of “I’m sorry” that I said to you?”

-The song also does a great job of showing how much the guilty verdict messed with her.

Ok here it goes-

Kaeya hopping onto a caravan to get to Sumeru as a kid is simultaneously the funniest and saddest thing ever.

Could you all imagine the chaos once the Ragnvindrs realized child Kaeya is missing? I could just imagine Diluc crying loudly about losing Kaeya while Crepus panics and half yells at his staff and the knights about looking for him.

And the moment Crepus sees Kaeya again, he pulls him by the ear!! Because how dare this child give him the heart attack of the century! The nerve of this child to give him gray hairs!! Absolutely comedic!

But the fact that Kaeya did it because he wants to learn more about his heritage hurts. He barely knows anything (and even if he does know a lot, he feels as if he is missing large amounts of context anyway). No wonder he hid that one piece of paper about information on their clan. He's clinging to what is left over for him.

I don't fully trust the idea that his father left him in Mondstat just to live a better life at all. As sweet as it may be, I actually think that's just Kaeya's hopeful thinking. That's why he "thinks he made a clean break with his past". His mind tells him that he probably has nothing that Khaenri'ah or the abyss order might want. A reasonable conclusion because they haven't contacted him- in fact, he was the one doing the interrogating.

That makes me nervous for him though...

Even if it is to free him from his history who tf leaves a child in one of the strongest storms (where he almost dies in), tells him that he will be a spy for Khaenri'ah, and gives him the pressure of being their "only hope"?! Damn dude, if you really want to give him a better life maybe don't give him a last minute multiple trauma gift.

Dain probably crumpled a bit of Kaeya's said hope by straight up mentioning that Kaeya is a descendant of the Abyss Order's founders (I knew the Alberich last name had a damn purpose! Being the birthright successor to the Abyss Order is a big deal and literally a power move! Names have power!!!)

(((Random thought but I wonder if Kaeya could start his own faction- an alternate Abyss Order where he leads as the birthright heir where they go against the Abyss twin near the end? It would be a major decision to lead the order after all, he would have to leave Mond for it, and I'm sure that Dain would prefer to side with him on this one if it is a faction made to counteract the Abyss twin's actions)))

His heritage being such a big deal that they had to mention it in an Archon quest is very iconic for his 4-star starter character ass. They had to make sure everyone knows about it and now Kaeya's lore is gonna get more speculations and scrutiny. Good. I'd still argue that he has one of the best lore in the game- easily in the top 5.

Final thoughts for now, but Dainkae having that enemies to friends to lovers energy is very funny to me. Kaeya asking Dain to go drinking with him someday is *chefs kiss*. Dain is right to be wary of Kaeya though. The fact that Kaeya felt him watching is definitely telling of how perceptive Kaeya is (reminds me of the cutscene where Diluc is introduced, and when Diluc attacked from behind him, Kaeya didn't even flinch). Dain probably realized that Kaeya also purposely avoided him in Mondstat as well since Kaeya knew of him ( I don't think Dain would avoid someone who is blatantly using "Alberich" as a lastname).

Oh wait! One more thing! But is Kaeya actually immortal? (where they stop aging once they reach a certain age) or is he only half-Khaenriahn? (if so, why wasnt he turned into a hilichurl? Do they get a free pass?...but so far, he is the only regularly aging Khaenri'ahn we've met...)

I knew that the more lore drop he gets the more questions will be added. damn.

Self-conscious reader and the Icons

Vesper is perhaps the nicest about it, realistically. You're Queen of Lust, everyone wants you and everyone admires you! What kind of madness is this?! What do you not like about to yourself? He'll make you sit down and tell him, just list it off. He's no psychologist, but Vesper's sure changes in your routine and self-afirming exercises will strip that out of you.

Vorticia has had many kids, all of which have already gone through their very hectic adolescent phases, in which they struggled with all sorts of natural self-esteem issues. She knows the types of things that can be weighing you down, and although her attitude is very "no nonsense", the Queen of Gluttony will crack at your tilted view of reality jarringly fast. She's the first to notice how deep your insecurities go.

Zizz is entirely out of his depth. He doesn't know what to do with you. He's not sure why you feel this way, and he's even more stressed out when his frantic declarations of your supposed perfection are just shunned. He even gets a tad irritated. He doesn't know what to tell you, so he forces you into dreams where you're worshipped from top to bottom- Physically and verbally, by numberless faceless demons and himself. He hopes repeating this achieves something.

Kalymir is a cunt. An honest cunt. He doesn't know what the fuck is in that shitheap you call a brain, but it's all wrong. It fucking grates on his nerves hearing you say that shit, get out, touch the ground, do something you moping little ball of misery! What are you, some fucking loser? Chin up, bitch- You're the Queen of Wrath! Act like it, dumbass. Do you think he would have picked you if you were worthless?

Rinx unfortunately has a very linear approach to dissatisfaction. Materialism. But how can you be insecure, when you have everything you could ever want laid at your feet, woman?! What is there to be insecure about? Come on, you're overthinking it. You'll have to be more vocal about it with Rinx, he will gladly get you help, but he doesn't really know how to tackle it on his own.

Cero... Will only assert your insecurities. He doesn't even mean to do it (unless it's a punishment), but it's not in his nature to praise or lift spirits. He thinks the correct way to go about this is to have everyone else praise and worship the ground you walk on, instead of adressing you directly. See, don't be a fool, look how superior you are to them. This is childish honestly, the two of you have better things to waste your time on.

Livius is someone you need to urgently avoid, like the plague. Remember, he mimics you. If you're deeply insecure and unwell, he'll take on those traits too. What ends up happening is that he'll adopt your insecurities and create a cycle of negative feedback. No, you're not ugly- He's ugly!!! HE'S STUPID AND USELESS. Congratulations, now you're both mentally unwell.

To address the name thing, a lot of these names are puns, and I've said it before too.

Zizz = Catching Z's.

Kalymir = Derived from "calamity".

Vesper = Not exactly a pun so much as I'm determined to give vaguely religious names to sex demons as an inside joke.

Livius = From a roman origin, means "livid or envious". Liviu, a man who envies others.

(Di) Cero = Means wax in Latin, because this fucker waxes poetic. It also sounds like "zero" in some languages (including mine), and he's a whole ass 0/10. The name is also said to be associated with unstable, bitter individuals.

The scene between Nancy and Cynthia was everything. They're my favourite friendship on the whole show. I kinda wish they showed us what they wrote, but you know what? It's their secret, and will remain that way, as it should.

Mark and Amber are cool, and yeah it's nice to see him listening to her problems even if maybe it's revealing that uh... yeah he can't be there for her and that's complicated (as mark said)

Rudy and monster girl is intersing, like i get why she's pissed and i get where he's coming from

DECEASED they all knew he was from mars.Almost disappointed because him desperately trying to be human was hilarious but also this reveal was the funniest fucking thing so, even his reveal felt so unhuman

also how noble and excited the abckstory is until the awkard... so I sort of tried to kill him but I didn't even do that right and now he's coming to earth to kill us all possessed by a hive creature

Rex, gonna go OOC real quick, then pan to Atom Eve AMV... iconic, I wonder what this could mean /s

Ok I was like, stop commenting on everything but like Rex is a prick but the absolute funniest, saying that maybe Eve's parents WANT her to be abducted because they still haven't fixed her broken window lock killed me

also more seriously actually the familiarity with which they talk and rex moves around eve's room (the l atter would be weird if it weren't so obvious eve could make him stop if she wanted) is great? Because yeah they dated for a while, like they should know each other even if they don't get on anymore and it's great to see the evidence of that Similarly the fact taht Eve reveals at teh end she knew rex just wanted something but that she also does think he genuinely helped her see that she helps people

Man, mark :-( spread too thin, and he's realising it but what is the way out?? Butter spread over too much bread and you can't just put it back in the tin

Reviewing Every UKISS Release: By Unpopular Demand ~ Only One

Ah yes, their 1st studio album, and the peak of UKISS. I remember this coming out because it was around the time of the Olympics, and I don't know why that's the way I remember it.

But yeah, they were soooo popular now, they had tons of variety shows - Pops in Seoul for the English line, Chef's Kiss was right after this, and I think UKISS Vampire was done around after that, or after Break Time, I can't remember.

I liked Bingeul Bingeul when it came out, and I still do prefer it to MMHN. Not entirely sure why, though it might be because I'll always associate with Chef's Kiss, and that makes me feel some real warm fuzzies. Also, was this when Soohyun's dating scandal happened? Or was it after this? Anyway, kudos for him to just going "thanks for making us the #1 trending topic XD"

This is something I meant to put in the Conti UKISS review but forgot, and it's that they seem so much taller in MMHN. Like I know Dongho and maybe Kevin and Eli were still growing, but all of them just seemed so much taller, for MMHN, and that's the importance of good styling.

So yeah, we're still in their woman-hating era, but it's a little dialed back now. I don't really have any good relevant tea about this era, which is a little weird. Was this when they had their first ever concert? I think it happened before Break Time, and if I remember correctly, it was because the Philippines LOVED Bingeul Bingeul and it went crazy viral there, so as a thank you they had a concert in Manila.

I don't think I ever watched the full concert, but I kinda feel like it would be the endearing disaster that any small-mid company's group would have when hosting a concert in somewhere not South Korea/Japan/even China. I think I remember the audio being really bad and I wasn't sure if it was just the video/recording problem or if it actually sounded like that on stage. Did they even have enough music to do a concert?

Oh right, and beware of this album on Spotify I don't know why it's so messed up, but there's 2 versions of it up, and like a couple songs show up on the Real School OST and none of this is consolidated. It is a hot mess, do I like tell Soohyun this on Bubble or on b.stage or what?

I like that the whole premise of this song is "baby I love you please come back" like name a more dynamic duo than UKISS and being pathetic begging men

And the fact that this breakup is basically their fault, yet Kibum is still out here calling me bad? Uh excuse you you're the one who's in the wrong

The "jjaeggakjjaeggak" part after Eli's rap is one of my favourites I don't know why, it's so catchy

This is mostly a Soohyun/Kevin duet featuring Kibum, Eli, Xander, and Dongho

Kiseop was there and he probably looked gorgeous

Not much to say about the singing since it's mostly been autotuned, but Kibum does sound much better here, and I like the contrast between him and Soohyun

The rappers rapped, that's for sure

Something about the way Dongho sings "you are the only one" is so cute

7.75/10, it's just a fun dance song, not much more I can add. Not earthshattering, but super catchy

First, I gotta give my condolences to Dongho apparently it took like 7 bleach jobs to get his hair that light

I don't know if they did it in a single sitting, a couple, or spread out, but damn that's gotta hurt the scalp, even if he was young

He does look good with that pale blond though

Xander's hair is tragic they just gave him what they gave Kibum for MMHN, except it really doesn't suit Xander

Kiseop looks amazing as always

Kibum's hair is like a 3D sculpture I wanna know how much product is in it

I like Kevin's hair colour, that light brown always looks good on him, but I hate the bowl cut it's so not a good look

But yeah the studded jackets, necklaces, copious amounts of leather, so 2010 bad boy chic

Oh and we can't forget the skin-toned lipstick, guyliner for days, and emerging smoky eyes

I forgot the chorus dance is supposed to be done in a circle that's really cool, but I do just love a good circle moment in a dance

Now THAT is a look

Is it good? Is it bad? I don't really know but I love the eyeshadow

The hair isn't super flattering though

I have conflicting feelings about these white outfits

I love the overall look and feel of them, but I think a lot of them aren't flattering when they dance

Kevin and Kibum both have the longer jacket and it makes the dancing feel really clunky and difficult

They also have a padded shoulder look, which I actually do like most of the time, but here it makes them look like they have bad posture and permanently hunched shoulders

It's kinda giving cartoon proportions

So yeah, not much happens in this MV it's literally them dancing in The Box in the studded jackets, some solo shots in The Spinning Box, some other solo shots with the art projects drawn on them, and dancing shots in the white outfits

Yeah there's only 2 outfits in this MV, 3 if you count the art project looks

Yes NH give us no budget

Okay, let's be fair, they blew the entire budget on Kibum's hair products, Dongho's bleaching sessions, Eli's eye makeup, the white outfits, and the ink art shots

4.75/10 it was boring, and saved mostly by Eli's cool eye look, and the fact I don't despise every outfit here. At least they're not in a warehouse for this MV, or you know what, they probably are, but they're contained in The Spinning Box, so that's a little interesting

I love the use of use of differing heights it makes such an interesting image

Soohyun kinda looks like an exotic bird with that hair

There's a lot happening with that top - the leather vest, the different coloured sleeves

This is actually a pretty good look for Kibum, and he looks weirdly happy here

I love that you can hear them slapping their arms during the "nae ego" part of the rap

I really don't like this outfit on Kevin it's not flattering at all on him

And I hate his hair

Also not loving Eli's top, but I appreciate the random clump of fabric

Ki brothers really do be the best dressed here

He had no lines in the song so they gave him the final pose lol

So I've always thought the Bingeul Bingeul dance was silly, especially the chorus part, but after seeing the MV I see the vision now

It looks really cool when they're in a circular formation, but stupid when they're in lines, but circles aren't the best for stages like this

The dance isn't particular difficult, I think the opening is probably the hardest due to the synchronization

The funny chorus bit was probably more difficult for the MV than here

I will say this kind of choreo falls flat without enough commitment, so while funny to watch, they definitely committed

Not much to say other than that. They clearly work well as group, they're all at a minimum competent dancers, and the only real standout here is Dongho

Like MMHN, this choreo is basically made for him, plus he has that kind of je ne sais quoi and pulls your eye

It was sung live, it was a Soohyun/Kevin live duet, the rappers rapped, and I suspect a loud backtrack for Kibum and Dongho

7.5/10 the stage design is kinda boring, and I don't like a lot of their looks, but it's a fine stage overall

The fabric moves better than I thought, but I don't know I still don't love the look of it

The pants look especially bad in movement, like they're way too baggy because of how the fabric hangs and reflects light

And yeah, I still stand by Kibum and Kevin having the worst jackets

Mics were really good, and Eli ended this stage? Do they take turns for the final pose?

Why are half of them dressed for the same event and look like they lost the dress memo?

I don't even hate these looks individually, and I even see the running motif in them, but they don't feel unified

And Kiseop should be wearing a vest like Kibum or a jacket like the others

I hate these looks I like the monochrome idea, but what's with the beige/khaki?

And why are some members in all black but the others are mixed?

The mics were really good here and they were all live, I think Dongho's voice cracked a little

I hate those pants so much just let them wear long pants

Before there were those hidden socks and exposed ankles, there were the exposed calves and shins

Oh my gosh I love this song it's one of my favourites

It's sounds so cute, so sweet, and it's so catchy like I'll honestly start humming this at work without even realizing it

The "baby I love you please come back" song like it's that good

Once again, cementing the fact they're at their best when begging

It's honestly amazing how dissonant the lyrics are to the music, like the song itself is fast-paced and cheery

Then the lyrics are basically them begging their girl to come back and crying themselves to sleep

And the fact that this is one of their encore songs, truly incredible

This is basically just a Soohyun/Kevin duet featuring Eli and Xander

They're both killing it though - Soohyun has that bitter voice that works great with the lyrics, while Kevin has that sweet voice that falsely advertises that this is an upbeat song

Their vocal synergy is unmatched

9/10 an all-time favourite of mine so yeah, I'm biased

Remember how there was supposed to be a 3D animated music video for this? Yeah me neither

The fact that there's a 15 second teaser of it on YouTube literally haunts me

The concept for it is probably rotting in NH's basement or something

So this is what I imagine to be the sequel of OK!

There's a line about the girl making them seem like a beggar, and what did they say in OK? That they weren't going to be a beggar

Thus based off of their pattern of "baby I love you even though you cheated on me", this could either be OK's prequel or sequel

Personally, I like this as the sequel because it makes it 10x funnier

The whole song is basically "you treat me like shit but baby I love you please come back", which is a new variant for this genre

Allegedly, Kiseop does the intro bit, but I'm not buying it. A couple of sites I've checked out attribute it to him, but I don't hear him?

So this is a Kevin-centric song featuring Soohyun and the rap line, with none for Kibum and Kiseop

I think his voice is very well-suited for it - he sounds just like a kicked puppy most of the time, but musters up the right aggression

Soohyun, sounding bitter as always

But they're both hampered by the autotune, that damned Brave autotune

I thought it was interesting they attached Eli's rap to the first verse to lead in to the chorus

Actually, Xander and Dongho both rap before the next chorus, interesting placements

It doesn't sound bad at all, I kinda like it

No funny one liners, unfortunately

8.25/10 more points than Bingeul Bingeul it's more creative and I love a good UKISS being pathetic beggars song

I feel like I have no recollection of ever watching these stages before recently

Oh my gosh I actually love most of these outfits? The black/red is so nice

I love Kevin's little plaid jacket like it's so cute I want it

Dongho has a kind of taupe trash bag shirt, love that for him

The vests are kinda taking me out

And Kibum's single arm warmer thing

Oh I love Kiseop's jacket too, especially the plaid lapels

They all have much better hair here; Dongho back to his bowl cut, Xander's looks more natural and comfortable, Soohyun has typical idol hair, Eli for some reason is blond again, Kibum rocking the same 'do from Bingeul Bingeul, Kiseop's is...very Kiseop, and Kevin's fluffy light hair

The makeup is very light too, love that though I hate the lipstick still

That pose kills me

His lips were moving during this so I guess this is Kiseop's part?

Head choreography was really in with them, huh?

It's kinda cute, makes sense since Soohyun's just shouting "what" the entire time

It's not even that similar but this screams Stalker

Why does he enter like that?

Same vibes as when you're not sure if you're entering the right room or if you're interrupting someone

This is so dramatic, and for what? I love it

It's not a super iconic dance but I like it anyway. It looks pretty aerobics-intensive

There's some weirdly soft moments in the choreo for this kind of dance song though. I don't hate it, but it feels a little out of place since so much of it is sharp and angular

It also makes a lot more use of height, lots of crouching and bending

Soohyun and Kevin are definitely singing live, their expressions say it all, and it becomes obvious when you hear Soohyun fighting with backtrack!Kevin, and when Kevin lets the backtrack take over to catch his breath

It's a bit harder to tell with the rappers since they also have that autotuned voice thing

7.25/10 I would watch it again, not super memorable, but some interesting choreo

I've read a couple translations of this and I'm still trying to piece it together

I think it's a "baby I love you please come back" and "angry we broke up so now I'm partying the pain away but it still hurts" mix?

It also feels like an allusion to sex? Like other than the bang bang bang part

Not counting it as a UKISS Sex Song but it's close, it just needs to be more explicit

I do appreciate the storytelling in the lyrics, starting off with "feel like shit gotta go have fun", the sex allusion, "baby I love you", "I'll never love again leave me alone >:(", "baby I miss youuuu", and ending with party lyrics again

It's basically another Soohyun/Kevin duet featuring everyone but Dongho

Interesting parallel with the Kibum/Soohyun and Kiseop/Kevin verses

Once again, I'm asking for more VinSeop verses their voices work well together

How do Soohyun, Kevin, and Xander all sound so nasally here? I thought it might've been the autotune or something but Kibum, Kiseop, and Eli sound relatively okay

It does feel like a proper Soohyun/Kevin main/lead vocalists + Kibum the subvocalists and accompanying rappers who get like 3 lines each as the bridge

I think I prefer the original version because it's 8 seconds shorter, and I think it carries the momentum of the song better

But I do prefer the more stripped percussion for Eli's rap

Not really fun facts, but some funny tidbits I remember regarding this time - there's an interview of them from either the time they were filming the Bingeul Bingeul MV or just after, and it's so cute. One of the questions was who made the biggest first impression, and I remember Eli said Dongho because he thought he looked like a tacky country bumpkin. Kevin backhandedly compliments Soohyun by saying he took one look at him and knew he was probably the best singer there (cue Soohyun shouting "what, am I ugly?").

They also get asked who watches porn, and everyone kinda nervously looks around, except for Soohyun who proudly raises his arm, and slaps Kibum to raise his too. If you remember my last post, Kiseop had already admitted to watching it on Soohyun's laptop with Kevin, so those two are lying liars.

This tidbit is actually from 2023, but Soohyun was talking about his early days under NH, and how the lower management really liked him because he could sing well and worked hard (to the point they'd tell him to stop practicing and go back to the dorm because they couldn't sleep), but upper management hated him because he wasn't a flower boy. Apparently the higher-ups never called him by his name early on, just always "hey you", and never complimented him, and the first time they called him by his name was around Bingeul Bingeul and it made him cry. NH, I'll see you in hell.

We have one more release before this OT7 era is over, and while I do look upon this time very fondly, I'm excited for the 2011-2013 years, their back-to-back bangers, and the HD JP MVs I have in my possession.

Sanji's introduction is as good as Zoro's. The added bonus of them having tuned down his horrific flirting to something far more palatable is just *chef's kiss*

Everyone teasing Nami about Sanji's flirting (well, Luffy laughs along but clearly has no idea what's going on) is iconic

Mihawk. Dracule Mihawk. Is it a complete waste to have Don Krieg there as canon fodder? Absolutely. But you cannot deny how fucking badass Mihawk is. Note that he refers to Don Krieg's gun thing as a "final gambit" implies that everyone in this world thinks in terms of finishing moves.

"little eggplant" is such an adorable nickname for Sanji. Zeff & Sanji's relationship is so dysfunctional - I want to love it, but they're just so fucked up, I can't judge

Poor Koby, learning that the world is full of hypocrites. Soft boy. Helmeppo just wants to pat his head and hide him from the mean mean world

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I love Sanji's accent. I like that it separates him from everyone around him, but doesn't go the stereotypical 'chefs are French' route

I'm sad we don't get real Gin. He was a very cool, very complicated. Both me and Sanji are sad about his loss

Also Zoro clearly spews bullshit about Nami so she'll contradict him, revealing more than she would have told him otherwise. Like Nami, you are being played. Zoro isn't even particularly good at it, you're just not at your best right now

Zoro's "I had one friend" - dude, you and Kuina were friends for less than 24hrs.

Between Garp and Luffy, it's clear who got all the cunning in the family. Also Garp's "I want the freedom to handle things how I like" is suuuuuch a douchebag line. Suuuch scum. I take back everything I've said about liking Garp, he is clearly just a 'doesnt play by the rules' cop from a TV drama.

I like that Zoro meets Mihawk super early on in the story. Like, we need to see him be totally wrecked. Zoro needs to experience being totally unprepared for what it's going to really take to achieve his goal. Poor Zoro is here thinking "it's too soon. I didn't think I would meet him so soon" and we get to see he has the potential for greatness, but is clearly still at the beginning of his journey. Did you really think you'd be the greatest swordsman before you hit 20?

Also Zoro's "you said it yourself, you don't have any friends" to Nami is such a dick move? But also a well deserved 'fuck you' to Nami for trying to play aloof rather than accepting the vulnerability that comes with actual friendship. I get why she's conflicted and upset, but I can't help but disagree with her attitude in this part of the series. Like I love her, but she's just enough of a hypocrite to piss me off

Of course Mihawk likes the hat, Luffy. His weird friend/rival/ex-husband had a hat just like that

I love sword fights a lot, but the one between Mihawk and Zoro is painful to watch. It's the fight with Kuina again, and one again Zoro refuses to see that he doesn't have to be the best right now

However I love how Mihawk looks at Zoro though - like a prey animal surveying a particularly interesting bug.

Aaaand when it comes down to it, Luffy never even considered the possibility that Zoro would lose. And Zoro sounds like such a child for once when he makes his vow. Gah. What an ending

King Sombra - Currently the most pressing hyperfixation at the moment because I want to write a redemption arc for him. I honestly think he was done dirty by the series and he should've been given the Discord treatment instead of being revived in Season 9 only to be killed off. Kind of a waste, don't you think? Also he's extremely hot and I cannot help but simp for his majesty aaaaa

No seriously look at him and tell me if you're a man you don't immediately question your sexuality

Soarin - He just has a really cool design and looks like a really cool and chill dude. Can do no wrong and his voice is really cool too. Kind of gives off California surfer dude vibes and although he's second-in-command he's way more chill than Spitfire. I wish he had more speaking roles tbh because we just need more of this man instead of him being a weird side/background character hybrid. Like people know who he is but he only speaks in like, three episodes???

Thunderlane - Okay, he's a background stallion and no one really cares about him and his brother Rumble and I didn't either until "Marks and Recreation." Like, he's a talented flyer but he can also cook? Where has this guy been all my life? His design is awesome and he looks like he'd be a confident boss type but from what I saw of him he's just as sweet as Soarin which is why they belong together don't @ me Idk how these people get his voice down perfectly but his voice fits so well aaaaa

Shining Armor - He's like the only major male character in the series that appears frequently and I'm not mad at it, literally best husband and he probably speaks for all new fathers when he looks like he's losing his sanity in The Crystalling. Wait, does that make him a DILF???

Braeburn - He's not so much in my thoughts as other stallions but maybe he should, like he's a really cool and down to earth character and I can see why so many people in the fandom write him. Basically a Texas cowboy but ponified? How can you not like him hrrrr

Thorax - THE CINNAMON ROLLEST CINNAMON ROLL THERE EVER WAS

No really he's so precious and needs to be protected, can literally do no wrong, he helped take down his own queen like what an icon. He also never gave up on his brother who was kind of being a jerk to him and he's also the only leader who didn't get angry at Neighsay for being a racist. Definition of gentle giant in his metamorphized form

Sunburst - Initially I was kind of "eh" about him when he made his debut but I grew to like him as he made more appearances in the series. Probably the character who I can connect the most with, being socially awkward, wears glasses, and also smart? I can connect with him on a personal level and his wizard vibes despite not actually being a wizard are to die for aaaaa

Flash Sentry - Okay, hear me out, hear me out! I know no one likes him in the fandom but he genuinely seems like a nice dude, if his human form is anything to go by. Also we never really see what it's like to be a royal guard so why not go into more depth with him? He was supposed to play a bigger part in the series but he was axed due to the absolute vitriol that was thrown towards him from what I heard and it's really a shame.

Flash Magnus - He's as badass as he looks. No seriously he's just such a confident and awesome character that I love him so much. He also looks suspiciously similar to Flash Sentry so I have to wonder, are they related? Is Flash Sentry a descendant of Flash Magnus? Is this a possible fic idea? XD Also his red mane is just, chef's kiss

He looks like he's been through war and he's literally a living legend, what's not to love?

Rockhoof - Okay he gives me Thor vibes and Thor is hot so I think he is hot. The episode of him trying to find his place is the right mix of seriousness and comedy, like nothing in the modern world is made for someone that buff XD He and Thorax are gentle giants and I love them both pretty much, I can't choose between him and Flash as a favorite Pillar of Equestria XD

Okay after writing like a thousand words those are all of my hyperfixations at the moment when it comes to MLP, they live in my head rent free fighting for space with Cars, Planes, Mariah Carey, and Transformers

The duo gets up from their sitting positions sprinting up a set of stairs deciding to take a shortcut through the natural history museum. The museum being currently under construction. 'Techno' Dawn and 2 rams can be spotted walking towards them from behind. Appearing out of nowhere. 'Mayor Bellweather' Techno thinking he can trust her walks to meet her, Fundy following his lead. 'We found out what was happening, someone's darting predators with a serum. that's what making them go savage.'

'I'm so proud of you Techno, you did such a super job' Techno blinks, a sudden realization, stopping himself from giving her the briefcase. 'How did you know where to get us?' placing it behind his back, out of reach. 'I'll go ahead and take that case right now,' retreating. 'uh Fundy and I can take this to the ZPD' another ram blocking the exit, stretching his neck cracking it like you would your knuckles. At the same time, 'RUN'

'GET THEM'

'Carrots' Fundy struggles to carry Techno, spotting him curled in on himself after tripping over a fallen pillar, unable to walk. Leaning against an upright pillar, 'ok, just relax,' using the handkerchief holding blueberries to stop the bleeding. 'Take the case, get it to Bogo' pushing the briefcase towards Fundy. 'i'm not leaving you behind, that's not happening'

'i can't walk' Techno stating the obvious. 'we'll think of something,' both looking towards the ground, discarded blueberries rolling. 'we're on the same team Techno, underestimated, under-appreciated, aren't you sick of it?' the 2 rams sneaking towards their hiding spot, shinning flashlight to and fro. 'predators, they may be strong and loud, but prey outnumber predators 10 to 1.' Dawn rushes forward, seeing a shadow shaped like Technoblade. 'think of it, 90% of the population united against a common enemy, we'll be unstoppable.' An attempt at jump-scaring the duo reveals it's not him—a statute propped up as a misdirect. The two book take the open window as an opportunity to book it to the exit. Body slammed to a lower exhibit, losing the case.

'well you should've just stayed on that carrot farm huh? too bad, i did like you'

'what are you going to do? kill me?'

'ohh no, course not, he is.' Dawn shoots the gun, hitting Fundy's chest, a spot of blue. Stumbling back from the impact. Techno, concerned 'Fundy?'

'Yes police! There's a savage fox in the natural history museum, Officer Techno is down, please hurry'

'No, Floris, don't do this, fight it,' unaware of it, Dawn looking down in mock pity. 'Oh but he can't help it, can he? Since preds are biologically predisposed to savages,' a growl emitting from the fox's throat. 'oh gosh, think of the headlines, 'hero cop killed by savage fox'' Fundy ripping a figurine, a mere chew toy. 'so that's it? prey fears predator and you stay in power?'

Shrugging, 'yea, pretty much.'

'it won't work'

'fear always works and i'll dart every predator in Zootopia to keep it that way,' Techno now cornered against a wall. 'bye bye bunny,' Fundy lunges forward, biting Techno's neck. Techno reacting with a screech before miming blood loss, 'bleh, blood, blood, blood and death.' Fundy laughing, before addressing Bellweather, 'alright you're milking it. besides, i think we got it. i think we got it. thank you yak-y yak, we got it up there, thank you. you ate it all up beautifully.' Fundy barely holds up Techno, keeping his weight off of the injured leg. Bellweather looks towards the gun in a mix of shock and confusion. 'you looking for the serum?' Fundy proceeds to pull the actual paintball from his shirt pocket. 'well it's right here.'

'you got in the weapon there, blueberries from my family's farm' popping a blueberry into his mouth. 'mwah, they are delicious, you should try some' making the motion of 'chef's kiss.'

'I framed Lionheart, i'll frame you too. it's my word against yours,' Techno and the iconic carrot shaped pen. 'ooh, actually, it's—' playing the recording, Bellweather's voice clear as day '—it's your word against your's, it's called a hustle sweetheart, boom.' The rest of the ZPD police force surrounding Bellweather, knowing she'd been caught.

A news broadcast showing Dawn Bellweather in an orange jumpsuit taken into custody. Fundy later joining the ZPD as their first Fox and Techno's partner in crime.

jihyo zone album review!!!

first off: i literally cried while ranking these. they all served and she is amazing. this is just my opinion, feel free to disagree! stream zone, support our girl zyo, im actually so addicted to this album already and she was barely born.

room - this song oh my gosh i feel like so many of these songs feel so nostalgic, this song reminds me of one of my favourite bands, the aces, and i feel like it just has that calm, indie kind of vibe, which is so stunning, and its so so beautiful with jihyo's deep vocals. it 100% feels like a retro indie kind of song, i can already picture the film camera and vintage clothing, like oh my gosh, it gets better each time i play it.

killin' me good - its so iconic. i can't. i love the instrumental in ways i have never loved an instrumental before; something about the synth kinda style keys just triggers the right part of my brain. again, the more chill style instrumental is HEAVEN when paired with her powerful vocals. she absolutely ate this up with those iconic vocals, i can't even. it's stunning. it's beautiful. it's the title track for a reason. jihyo, you absolutely served, the vocals, the choreo, visuals. everything is an 11/10. stop it, though, because i'm a chaeyoung bias, and you're actually fucking with my brain. go away. leave. please. but like, don't. because imma need 900 mini albums now, as well as all of those unreleased bsides.

wishing on you - i felt this was like the 'basics' of zone; it was THE chill bside and i can def see myself playing this when im getting ready in the mornings, its giving me a bit of iu kind of vibes, like bbibbi, but also feels a little bit red velvet, with the high vocals. i love this song so much because it almost feels like shes singing a duet with herself, because she has the contrast between her higher, sweeter voice, as well as her deeper voice, and it amazes me constantly that her vocal duality is that powerful, when she does the higher harmonies during the 'you, you, you, you' in the chorus, with her deeper adlibs, i ASCEND. stunning. chefs kiss. if songs were edible, i would've eaten the plate too.

talkin' about it - THIS SONG LITERALLY ATE UP JIHYOS VOCALS, the prechorus with her deep vocals??? im now in heaven. and the contrast between her rich vocals and then the 'mmh, mmh, mmh." it's like what i was saying before where its like she sings a duet with herself, because of her vocal duality, she constantly changes it up. it's such a powerful song. and the electronic instrumental reminds me of 'love foolish', which is such an iconic twice bside. this is so incredible, and her english pronunciation is also incredible. and the guitar in the prechorus reminds me of avicii's older songs (rest in peace). 24kgoldn gave me a jumpscare, did not see that coming lmao, but yk what, it's growing on me. he did well, but like, he was in a duet with the park jihyo; she's the moment, so she def outshined without meaning to, but it's okay, like, its her mini album and her song anyway. no hate to him, love him. but jihyo served so he could slay. i would've loved to see this with a strong, deep-voiced female rapper too, i feel like it would've been such a good combo, like imagine this with moonbyul, jessi or youngji, GASP i would pay such good money for that, it would've been absolutely chefs kiss.

closer - omg stop jihyo with the spanish style influence, I CANNOT. i'm actually obsessed with her bsides in this album; they're all really chill and i feel like have quite minimal instrumentals, meaning they really really let her strong vocals shine through. i feel like with itzy, the really bright, energetic bgm works well for them, since their music and vocal style is different, but for jihyo, because her vocals are so powerful, she needs the more simplified instrumentals to let them properly shine through, and i feel like that was really well done with this album, so a+ to their producers for making sure you did our jihyo justice with her iconic deep vocals.

nightmare - WHEN I SAW THIS LIVE DURING THEIR CONCERT I LITERALLY DIED, i feel like the j-line solo stages during their ready to be tour went viral, but jihyo and chaeyoung's vocal stages were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. i'd seen all the other solos on instagram but i hadn't seen or heard jihyo's and it was gorgeous. it suits her vocals so beautifully, the deep, strong song, and the fact that she wrote it?? an icon. it would've ranked higher, but this is one of those songs where the recorded version doesn't do the live one justice. it's stunning, but since i've been blessed with the live version, i can't listen to this one without feeling like its a bit less powerful and raw.

don't wanna go back - i love it, its like kdrama vibes but also kind of like early 2000s, it sounds like something tlc would have eaten up back then. i do love jihyo with this song but i feel like it wouldve worked really well as a group song too? like i can see xg doing this as a bside. as every song in this album does, it ATE, but its the kind of song that i wouldnt search up and play, but i wouldn't ever skip it either if it came on when im shuffling music.

The Jonicles - Entry 26.5

It is currently the 3rd of October, 2022 at 7:33 pm on a warm-ish Monday night, the day of absolutel reckoning. You know, I don't really mind Mondays that much.... Sure, it's the first day you go to school or work, but they're not that bad... It is also day #137 of my Jon Arbuckle hyperfixation.

Woah! Another bonus entry? That's unheard of! Yeah, I'm writing a shortie today. I wanted to quickly talk about some interesting Garfield-related media that I've found recently that I may make full entries of eventually because I think they're definitely worth looking into!

Back in 1995, a Garfield themed eurodance album was released and, apart from a music video made for it back when it was released that was later reuploaded by Lumpy Touch, it hasn't gotten much attention. It's a strange, relatively obscure little thing that I discovered from a Reddit post in early-mid September. I haven't seen it mentioned on many Garfield icebergs and there's, to my knowledge, no videos that have been made about it, apart from the odd remix and the aforementioned music video (which you should check out, by the way. it's got a lot of 'Garfield And Friends' clips in there that really give off so much of signature late 80s early 90s aesthetic). The most interesting thing is how un-Garfield it is. Yeah, the lyrics do talk about cats, but there's nothing about Garfield's live for lasagna or the other characters, for that matter. In fact, they never really mention Garfield's name, which makes me wonder if they were just generic tracks that PAWS Inc. liscensed and slapped Garfy-Baby onto. That isn't to say that the music doesn't slap though - 'Cool Cat', the most iconic track in the album, is such a BANGER!! It gives me huge Sonic R vibes if Sonic R was more like Nightcore. That piano in 'Hold On To Your Dreams' is just the absolute chef's kiss, we have an official piece of Garfield media that contains the phrase "I'm Getting High", and don't even get me strated on how hype 'Party Of Love' is!!! I'm so genuinely surprised that something like this actually exists because of how oddly unique it is? Like, what genre of music do you think of when you think of Garfield? If you grew up with the 80s cartoons, you probably think of something jazzy, something smooth with a snazzy bassline that defines Garfield's character and makes it memorable. If you grew up with something more modern like the DTV Garfield movies and 'The Garfield Show', you might think of brass instruments that are loud and bursting with energy, something more goofy and energetic. But eurodance? I think it goes without saying that this is one of my favourite bits of obscure Garfield media because of how unique and how much of a BOP it is. Someone show this to Quinton - that is, if he hasn't already heard it!

This piece of media is a little, well, strange, to say the least... So, you know the comedian Gilbert Gottfried, right? You probably know him for his incredibly recognisable voice and taboo style of comedy... Now mix it with Garfield. Like, fuse them together. What do you see? Do you see some terrifying abomination of a man-cat hybrid? Just imagining Gilbert Gottfried's face plastered onto the fat cat? Wondering why the fuck anything like this would even come into existence in the first place and why this world is so unholy? Good, because that's what I thought too when I first saw this freaky little guy. It's called Gilbert Garfield, an ARG series that focuses on the person behind the archival of a lost series he recieved on VHS tapes that's similar to Garfield And Friends except, well, except that Garfield is also Gilbert Gottfried. Listen, this series is simultaneously on of the most eerie and hilarious ARGs I've ever seen. The premise is so silly, stupid even, yet it works so well... Fucking.... Gilbert Garfield... It starts out Gilbert Garfield saying something about the creation of lasagna whilst Odie is immediately shot in the face offscreen by an Italian-speaking alien who arrests Gilbert Garfield for the future crime of killing Jon Arbuckle and they take him to their spaceship, only to get lasered by Gilbert, and then everything falls into this plot of Gilbert being driven insane by his own third and fourth eye seeing abilities and it's crazy. That's not even scraping the surface yet. It's so fucking mental, I love it. The presence of Gilbert throughout the clips that have been uploaded really reminds me of Zalgo, an eldritch horror being that you may remember if you were on the internet and in the creepypasta community during roughly 2004-2010, to which the plastered Gilbert Gottfried face present on Garfield and how any media he's in seems to be corrupted parallels the corruption of any comics and cartoons Zalgo causes by his presence. Of course, Zalgo doesn't blast Italian aliens with a cosmic fire laser thing and have the face of Gilbert fucking Gottfried, but y'know! And this is all still being developed too. In fact, a new video was uploaded literally 2 days ago from when this is being written, and many more are being uploaded in other places. They even have their own website, it's crazy. I must warn you though, it is quite disturbing and is hard to follow, especially the latest video which has gore and mentions things relating to... Erm... Let's say, something being squirted onto people who are not alive... Yyyeeeaah! But seriously though, I really like this series, I even drew a little Gilbertfield on some paper while on holiday (as seen above), he's a horrifying little abomination that I love so dearly. I can't wait to see what further developments this will have!!!

So, that wraps up this little bonus entry. I have some other topics that are a little more spooky to write entries on during this month, including one that is near and dear to my childhood. I might talk for in-depth about these topics, but for now, I'll be leaving with this.

genshin hp!au. rex lapis as the headmaster of liyue schools of wizardry. he disappears after being in the position for thousands of years, and everyone is scrambling over trying to look for him or someone to take over his position. meanwhile, a handsome professor gets admitted into the school to assist in the lack of manpower (the previous headmaster used to teach all sorts of subjects himself but now that he's gone the school is literally lacking teachers), and he seems to be very knowledgeable in all things.... plus, he gives off the same vibes as the previous headmaster too.... hmmm..... *finger snap* could it be??? rex lapis' son???? that has to be it, right?! you, a fellow professor, are determined to get the truth behind this! everyone tells you you're crazy but no, you know this man has got to know something about the headmaster's disappearance! zhongli is very thoroughly amused and decides to entertain you. but jokes on him because he didn't count falling for this stubborn but endearing teacher.

when sumeru dropped, everyone rushed to get collei which is understandable because it's a free character of a new element !! i just utilize the dendrogram, so i keep my team per usual: it's currently ganyu, kazuha, heizou and klee for better exploration! but i switch out ganyu for kokomi when i clear out a withered zone <//3 but collei is in my teapot now since thoma already reached friendship lvl 10 and she's so nice :( <3
