So i was thinking of making some kind of timeline/connected universe thing for mcyt series like hermitcraft and such. There will be notes under the read more cut, and i'd HUGELY appreciate it if people had any more things to add + definitive years between universes (the actual one will look better lol)

Ok so for the notes!

So we know empires s1 and s2 are in the same world but with a lot of time inbetween. I believe sausage made an estimate but i dont remember completely. We do know without a doubt that witchcraft smp (wcsmp) takes place 10 years after the end of empire smp, due to e2!Shelby becoming wc!Shelby and her finale saying "10 years later".

Fame smp is connected to witchcraft. I dont know a lot since i dont watch it but i do know Bertha, who was in witchcraft, starts fame smp by going from the wc world to that one and even makes note of it being a different universe.

Afterlife smp is a different universe to esmp s2 but theyre both directly connected. Both through Sausage's lore and Oli. Oli starts esmp s2 by going from afterlife to it, and he keeps knowledge of afterlife. I dont know if new life is connected to afterlife tho? I assume it is but i cant actually say for sure.

Now to the top part. Hermitcraft s9 is of course connected to esmp s2 because of the collab. I didnt want to write out all the hermitcraft seasons but the time between would probably mimmick how much time has been between each season irl.

The third life series also is most likely connected to hermitcraft. Simular to it, the time inbetween each season would mimmick the irl times. It is tied to rat smp in another universe thanks to Martyn lore. And origins smp can be tied to rat smp because origins smp Sneeg and Philza both appeared in the series.

That is all for now. I'd love to hear if people have more info. Especially on adding other series i might not watch! I want to make this as extensive as possible lol

Redesigning my osmp!Ranboo outfit from 2021

I'd love to get input on these designs, so I'm polling to see which outfit people like the most, but also feel free to let me know if you'd like to see anything added, changed, etc.

Original outfit, notes, first draft and general behind-the scenes shit below cut.

Original outfit that I'm redesigning.

Design notes and initial sketches for tubbo and ranboo's updated looks.

Extra design notes:

The y2k outfit has 'angel' written in enchantment table on the t-shirt

The y2k outfit also has The Particles hanging off the belt chain thing

I opted for the Weird Overly Slender look for osmp!ranboo's body instead of the bodytype I've used in other drawings of them, because that design has the legs that widen out into the big paws, which, while cute, kinda made the leg warmers and flared jeans sorta underwhelming.

Ranboo’s body was based on a ball-jointed doll (largely because Moonlight Jewel’s Monster High redesign series got me in the mood to think about redesigning the actual Look of a past character, as opposed to just redrawing them).

The triangle necklace on the Fancy Dress design is a nod to the shape of the shirt collar in the original outfit, and the silver choker is a nod to the thick band of the sweater neckline in the original design.

All outfits have a ‘v’ shape as a reference to the shirt collar.

All outfits have either a skirt or flared trousers, so as to mimic the skirt in the original outfit.

Having been directed to the rainforest biome, Techno knocked on the oak door in front of them. 'Philza Minecraft, Technoblade ZPD. We just want to know what happened to James Marriott.' The elytrian opened the door a smidge, not fully due to the deadbolt. Stepping into the light, he let it shine on his face, showing a scar across the eye. 'You should be asking what happened to me.' The duo shocked that such a tiny otter did that.

'Woah, a tiny otter did that?' Techno gasped.

'What happened?' added Fundy.

'He was an animal. Down on all fours. HE WAS A SAVAGE.' Philza thinking back to the scene; James jumping through the window separator after scratching the seat covers to oblivion. 'There was no warning, just kept yelling about the night howlers. THE NIGHT HOWLERS' Fundy decided that they shouldn't tell the whole truth as to why they were there, rather a fib. Placing his paws in his pockets, hunching his shoulders. 'So you know about the night howlers too? Good, good because night howlers are exactly what we are here to talk about, right?'

Prompting, 'Yep, so you just open the door and tell us what you know and we'll tell you what we know.' gesturing between the three parties present. Philza, just scared out of his wits, unlocked the deadbolt. 'Clever fox,' Techno praised the fox. Hearing a scuffle from inside, Techno decided to walk into the house. 'Buddy?'

'Are you...okay?' Seeing the bird's aggressive body language, Techno yelled at Fundy to run before bolting himself. 'What is wrong with him?'

'I DON'T KNOW' They both quickly backpedaled out of Philza's residence, moving in the opposite direction from which they came.

'JUMP' Techno proceeded to lead Fundy through the bountiful foliage. 'HEAD FOR THE SKY TRAM' the duo landing in a vine before performing a move you'd only see in Tarzan. 'Whatever you do, don't let go'

'I'm going to let go' 'RABBBIIITTTT'

During the chase, Techno had called for backup. For some random reason, the elytrian wasn't anywhere to be seen when the chief had arrived. Techno almost reluctantly returning his badge before being interrupted.

'Uh, no' The chief looked to the fox, disbelief in simply being told 'no'

'What I said was no, he will not be giving you that badge. Look, you gave him a clown vest and a 2 wheel joke-mobile and 2 days to solve a case you guys haven't cracked in 2 weeks. Yea, of course, he needed help from a fox. None of you guys were going to help him.' the chief sputtering, unable to get a word in. 'Chief, here's the thing. You gave him 48hrs and technically we still have 10 left to find Mr. Marriott and that's what we're going to do. So if you'll excuse us, we have a very big lead to follow and case to crack, good day.' Giving a two fingered salute, the duo walked onto the sky frame's open cart.

not sure how I feel about how this came out (o!shubble particularly) but I like the concept!

basically the idea that shubble was buried in a tomb in the mountains and her ghost was stuck there before she was released.

while stuck she turned her tomb into a more comfortable bedroom :)

So I like to bake, right? And recently many youtube smps have had baked goods featured in them. I've been thinking about recreating the recipes for them irl!! I'm already planning to make Scar's Elven Kiss cookies soon, but does anyone have any suggestions of desserts in mcyt videos? New dsmp and origins Ranboo theory just dropped bitches

So you know those theories about them being the previous time traveler? And you know how in origins SMP the "do not read" book was shown and all that stuff? I like to think that maybe, just maybe, instead of where some people have been going that osmp!Ranboo is a descendant or some sort of ancestor for the DSMP lore, that maybe they are dsmp!Ranboo.

If we play with the idea that they're a time traveler who happens to forget everything, who's to say that's not Ranboo before they got all fucked up?

They're an enderman, but there's no real information about what the other half of them is. Then there's the inbetween and the other side, black and white. Karl gravitates to the other side, but what if Ranboo was the outcome of sticking to the path, of being loyal to the inbetween? What if the other half is a sort of mark or scar from the inbetween? Nonetheless why the other side seems so distressed and hellbent on getting Karl away from the inbetween?

I feel like that would be really interesting backstory for their "pick people, not sides" ideals, that it's something more of an impulse- a response or warning from the last shreds of who they were that's buried now, rather than just an opinion, because while they don't remember the things they saw through their travels in time, something does. It's something they're obviously passionate about, as their speech before doomsday proves.

Basically, I like to think that the inbetween and other side can corrupt people, I mean come on, look at those portals, they look invasive. Nonetheless there's the sheer fact that a previous time traveler had to be replaced because their memories got so messed up.

I feel like the whole enderwalk thing could be involved with that somewhere too (because I also like to think that they're just mistaking what it actually is), but I feel like there's still too much left unsaid to speculate about that yet.

My main question is how does the memory loss work? Does it act as a side effect of brain damage, or is it repression? Because you know the shit you'd see while looking at different outcomes in time would be pretty damn traumatizing, but also being thrown between time periods could cause stress on not just your brain but your whole body.

Anyways, just some food for thought :]
