Tldr: an anti posts ship hate in a tag, a trans person tells them to tag it, the anti is offended and bullies them for months, and calls them a transphobe for fictional headcanons the anti also has, and calls them a number of slurs including crazy, cissy, etc, until they leave and possibly commit suicide.

The anti’s name is “Howl” and he’s @eightdoctor.

For Howl, I looked through his blog to see if I could find anything on him, and he lives in the uk or across the pond, based on timezones, and he’s posted a lot of selfies so if you ever come across someone like this, steer fucking clear if you value your mental health. Look at all the checkboxes this guy checks off. He calls Angerissue ableist while being ableist himself (“this person is crazy”), and while Angerissue I’m guessing is disabled because she has migraines! And lots of other things he can’t even substantiate, while he acts hateful about cis people himself and calls her a “cissy”. I’m fucking LIVID.

I guess nobody actually went to Angerissue to talk to her, they just jumped into the mob with their pitchforks.

The only KIND OF questionable thing was “female pronouns” but a lot of people make that mistake and I checked Angerissue’s blog, she had changed it?? And any thing else just seems like bad wording, I don’t see any actual transphobia, she checks out to be an actually good person and her comments on her blog even say she was open to fixing things she does wrong, I just.

All of Angerissue’s phrasing was easily explained by ignorance or just bad wording, and I know someone who gets migraines, sometimes you just fuck up your words (idr what the name for that is) so that’s a possibility too, why attribute such tiny fuckups to malice right out of the gate?!

(Don’t even get me started on Howl’s about page. He’s obviously an anti so this whole thing just reeks of a smear campaign.)

Also Howl has a headcanon of his own about Bruce Banner (the character Angerissue writes and Howls’ special interest) having internalized homophobia too, so why did he say “lol they made them a transphobe with their whole chest” about Angerissue like it was an attack on her as a person?? And say “can we bully her off the website now”?

Also Howl captured a paragraph where Angerissue explained Bruce Banner’s mental illness started in his childhood then got worse when he met another character (Wanda maximoff), and right below that, even tho the EVIDENCE WAS RIGHT THERE IN THE CAPTURE, Howl accused Angerissue of making that new character cause Bruce Banner’s mental illness instead of it starting in his youth (here, under the reblog with the weird dick comment...)

This went on for months apparently.

The worst part is, Angerissue says she is nonbinary on her blog so I can’t imagine how hard this was for her, imagine being called a transphobe for a headcanon by someone who has the same headcanon.

Edit: Thanks to a comment I just learned that “cissy” is a derogatory slur made towards cis people, so by calling Angerissue “cissy” Howl was implying she wasn’t trans (or nonbinary), but cis. If that isn’t transphobic, idk what is. You can’t take identities away to bully or punish people, holy shit.

Now Angerissue seems to have not been on for months, and she made some very worrying posts about killing herself. I was talking to one of her friends which is how I found about all this, and they haven’t heard from her either, even though they’ve been in good contact for a year. Angerissue put ten years of her life into a passion character, she made gut-wrenchingly beautiful gifs and fics and made a mainstay blog for the roleplay commuity, and this is what she got. This was the kind of person she was. I hope she’s still alive but I don’t know if she is, and I’m horrified and sick and something needs to be done even if that isn’t the case.

saw the dnd movie with my game club and we hooted and hollered and i cried like a widdle baby, thoroughly recommendable experience

my fav things, overall - i really liked that each member of the party got a scene to show off their shit. holga got to fuck up the guards in the alley, simon did the magic at the theatre (?), doric did her wildshape shenanigans to save a member of the emerald enclave, and zenk (sp?) did all the sick shit in the underdark. edgin didnt get anything anywhere near as flashy, but id argue that his bits were the intro with the backstory (which, fun fact, i assumed he was completely lying about until they got home) and the time stop trick at the end. hes so good. i almost reckon this was something a rebuttable to the 2000 movie, because the BIGGEST complaint is that noone other than Ridley does anything. (okay, maybe not biggest, but the most glaringly obvious).

and arguably the film also addresses the thing where 'why are these people travelling together'. edgin and holga co-raise a whole child, simon's absolutely dirt fucking broke and is relying of edgin to pull through, doric's been convinced to join as a way to stick it to the man, zenk is convinced to help because at that point they know more about Sophina and there's now like, Big Plot at play, which he also opposes idealogically. MWAH. like its so simple but the 2000s movie really fucked it for that (mostly bc they cut the scene that was integral to Ridley+Marina's arcs and shit (the one in the map) and they just. never explain why the dwarf is there. whats his deal. the ranger has a deal idr why she tagged along tho)

i also loved the section with zenk. like its hilarious structurally that hes in so little of the movie, but bc i didnt watch the marketing idgas. i thought he was great. hes there to guide the party to an item, yes, but hes really there to guide *them*. and edgin thinks thats a load of shit, but he was right! without zenk as a moral influence on the party, to remind them of what actually matters? damn.

and how thats sort of what prompts them getting out of their darkest hour. like yeah that hours damn short, a single scene really, but i like it. everyone saying this is hopeless, whats the point, whats edgin even done, and edgin finally confessing that yes! he fucked up! he's the reason any of this happened! and for fucks sake, he'll find a way out, he has to. i love it. like that scene got my ass. it was so sweet.

amd the whoolle plot of him and holga and his daughter. i loved the simplicity of the "twist" with the tablet - he kept saying 'ill bring your mother back', finally admits that what he's doing isn't bringing kira's mother back, its bringing his wife back, and then ending up using the tablet to save Holga, who is really Kira's mother in the way that matters????? that shit got me. like as soon as i saw she'd been stabbed i was like oh ay i know the plot here and yet! i wept! that shit got me. it was just so sincere, i think. like yeah, its cheesy, but its taking itself sincerely. the feelings of the three characters involved is deeply sincere.

BOY OH BOY IM SO EXCITED TO TALK ABOUT MY OCS

So right now I have two main series that I'm working on, and one manuscript for a different series that is finished and going through editing.

Two main series are called Makings of Magic--previously the "Alexis" series--and Crystal Kingdom. The manuscript I have finished is the first book in my Save the Princess (STP) duology. It was my nano project for 2020 (and I won nano!! which was nice). Most of these have tags: tmom or the makings of magic and stp1 or stp, idr if ive posted much about ck before

The Makings of Magic

This is a whole ass world, nine book + companions series that I've been working on since I was 10. I could literally be here all day explaining who all the characters are, but I'll just go for the main gang and a summary:

Summary: Fantasy minor professional jock Alic gets kidnapped by baddies because they think she has a secret magic that they want to use their evil ways to un-secret. She does not have any of this magic. She ends up being the center of a secret-magic conspiracy and eventually is freed and decides to go after the people who kidnapped her, with another guy they kidnapped, and accidentally creates an international incident and starts a war while the conspiracy-nuts continue to try and prove that they're right by attacking people Alic knows.

Alic:

Alic is the mc of the series. She's very silly, and very brave. She's one of those people who will do anything on a dare. You cannot scare you, you cannot phase her, you cannot make her uncomfortable. She never lies because she doesn't see the point of it. She isn't afraid of anything. Light of my life. Not very smart <3

Gray:

Gray is the local prince, and Alic's best friend. They're basically QPR partners. He spends most of his time changing his personality so that people will like him (and thereby listen to him) but really he's very petty and a little neurotic and when combined with Alic willing to do very dumb things, because with Alic, Gray doesn't have to pretend to be put-together, and they love each other a lot and get into loads of trouble <3

Topaz:

Topaz is the manager of Alic's fantasy jock team. He's very suspicious of other people, and very good at spying on others. Alic (and by extension, Gray) decide he is their friend and he gets dragged into their crazy adventures. He leaves for three chapters in book three and they accidentally commit war crimes.

Jacian:

Jacian is a prince and scholar of magic from a nearby kingdom and he is blackmailed into helping the conspiracy-nuts essentially torture Alic until they figure out what magic she has. He and his gang of do-gooders end up freeing Alic, but in the process the conspiracy-nuts kill his father and give Jacian memory loss and brain damage and he sets out to try and figure out what he has forgotten: which is who killed his father and who the Big Bad is. This is a majority of the plot in books three and four as well as his side companion book. He's kinda wishy washy and nerdy which Alic thinks is cute.

Crystal Kingdom

Summary: This is my Princess and the Pea retelling. I'm not going to go too much into the plot here because hehe i like it being a surprise.

Zira: Zira is a paranoid, neurotic prince of a city-state that is constantly under attack (hence the paranoia and neurosis). He's also mean and bitchy and very petty, and doesn't trust Leihari, the supposed nearby Princess who supposedly lost her family and her country after a usurper supposedly kicked her family out. What sucks is that he may also be falling in love with her.

Leihari: Leihari is (supposedly) a princess from a far away city-state who has lost her crown and is staying with Zira and his family. In return for their kindness, she is helping them out with matters of state and other things a princess is supposed to do. She's kind, and a little sad, but trying to make the best of her new situation. It would be much easier of the prince stopped being mean to her. What's really frustrating is that he's wonderful to everyone else--it's just that he's paranoid. But seeing what he is like when he is nice to others makes her yearn to earn his trust, and maybe she starts falling in love with him too. Supposedly. But in the meantime, she isn't going to take any of his shit.

STP

Summary: My nano baby! This is a Princess and the Pauper retelling with dragons!! It's very exciting and i love it a lot :) Takes place in a historical alternate universe (with dragons) in about 500 BCE, in Ancient Israel because I'm Jewish and I thought why the hell not.

Adina: The Princess. Adina was meant to be married off to the highest bidder as any good princess of the time will, until her older brother was killed and she became next in line to the throne. Realizing that she knew nothing about her own people--after all, she's been expecting to be married off--she decides to switch places with someone who looks exactly like her. And everything is fine until the dragons attack.

Adina is quiet and generally second-best, and scared of the unknown and not meant for adventure, but she has a responsibility to go after the dragon that attacked her people, so off she goes. She's even shocked herself by how brave she's trying to be.

Dekeli: The Extortionist. A cloth merchant who works for dragons and was doing fine until everyone in the known world came out trying to kill a bunch of them. Now he has to get his latest job finished, and the easiest way for him to do that is by extorting Adina's secrets. Ironically, he's the person she can trust the most. Probably.

He's snarky and rude and very good at what he does. Adventure finds him, and he goes with a flair and a quip. It gets on Adina's nerves.

Mara: The Pauper. She's meek and smart and that's all Adina needs from her, so that's good. Right? Nothing more needs to be said, right? She has no ulterior motives--why would she?... right?

here is my gojo is an eldrich being propoganda tag

The short version:

Six Eyes gives Gojo the ability to see through time and space, basically, but he also inherits the memories of the Six Eyes.

His blatant god symbolism was not lost on me even the first time thru lololol, and the more we learn about the Six Eyes, the more confusing it gets.

Manga spoilers for Hidden Inventory + Star Plama arcs and JJK 0 under the cut. I checked the wiki, but had a lot of assumptions about the relationship between the Six Eyes and Limitless/Infinity, so I'm just working with what I remember to be explicitly stated in canon.

The first thing we learn about the Six Eyes is that Gojo can see much more than what is in his physical field of vision. Idr if it's explicitly stated in canon, but it's generally agreed upon that Gojo physcially covers his eyes to reduce the amount of information the Six Eyes is feeding through his brain.

The second thing we learn is that the Six Eyes reduces the the consumption of cursed energy while using cursed techniques (including domains) to a negligible amount.

In the Hidden Inventory arc, Gojo figures out to Reversed Cursed Technique, which then allows him to abuse the Six Eyes' cursed energy consumption reduction by essentially creating a feedback loop where the Six Eyes would enable Gojo to have RCT active at all times to counterract the physical depletion that would occur from having Limitless/Infinity constantly active.

Now into my own headcanons, because this shit isn't enough on its own.

It started with the Star Plasma arc, where we see our first look into Gojo's childhood. The particular scene I'm talking about is told from the perspective of Fushiguro Toji, then a part of the Zenin clan, who had gone out to scope out the competition send his regards to the Gojo clan. Important to note here is that Toji has his Heavenly Restriction and is already established to have zero cursed energy. The two things that stuck out to me in that couple of panels were the way Gojo was drawn as a child, and Toji's reaction.

As a child, Gojo is drawn to be very clearly intelligent and insightful, wearing a serious expression with a heavy, perceptive gaze. Certainly not the typical way a child looks at a grown man that is very clearly a threat. On top of that Toji's reaction is as close to fear or apprehension that we ever see from him. Toji instinctively knows that Gojo is much more than just perceptive.

Basically what I'm trying to say is Gojo knows things, sees things that he shouldn't.

The natural extension of this, is that he inherits the memories the Six Eyes, which gives him much more experience than he would have in his twenty seven years, even as the darling of one of the Great Clans. In addition to this, he is able to manipulate space on a molecular level, which requires a much deeper understanding of math physics than most twenty seven year olds with degrees in physics might have.

The natural extension of the above, then, is that Gojo can see through time (which btw is probably false since the Six Eyes did not detect Kenjaku in Geto's body). This is more for flavor and horror purposes than anything remotely related to theory lol. I'm just very attached to this passage from my box Gojo wip

He could see faces superimposed over skulls as he waded through the ever-shallower heaps of remains. He hesitated to call them human

All this to say: I think Gojo's conciousness is an extension of a collective conciousness accumulated in the Six Eyes, which thus makes him an eldrich being in my book. He might have tentacles who knows.

Therapy won't help me. Wanna know why? Too late. You already do. No one has been able to put up with me. Not an attempt to guilt trip you, I'm just stating a fact. I've tried therapy for everything I have going on, my anxiety, apparently my PTSD??, but nothing works. And to be quiet honest with you, you probably figured this out, feelings? Not a great topic for me.

the only reason i'm answering this is because i think you could use some advice. this does not make us friends and idrc if you take any of this as me being harsh. i'm done sugarcoating things with you, so all of this is pretty straight forward.

the thing about the internet is nothing is private. whenever anything is posted- even if they're deleted within 5 seconds- it's out there forever. boom, done. screenshots. sometimes nonny's like to spread the gossip around too. before posting anything take a moment to think if that could come back to bite you in the ass later on.

feelings aren't "creepy and obsessive" actions are. everything you've been doing is not normal behavior. you might not be a serial killer, but you do enter stalker levels sometimes. as for feeling regret? good. you should feel regret. you've done some pretty shitty things that will never be swept under the rug this time. but instead of blaming others, own it. prove you're actually sorry instead of just saying it. words mean nothing if you have intentions on keeping the cycle going. use this as a learning opportunity.

i can't say that i believe you because i don't. if you are actually serious this time, prove it. not to me. to yourself. use this a learning experience and be a better person.

i'm not upset because you told me to "shut up" i'm upset because i've noticed a never ending loop of *you do or say something terrible* *apologize and say you know what you did wasn't ok* *then you do it again* it never ends. the cycle keeps repeating itself and it's nauseating to be around. we've all gave you so many opportunities to better yourself and you just.. don't.

i've done therapy and i take medications to help me cope with my feelings/depression/anxiety/suicidal thoughts. it does help, but you have to find the right therapist and try out a few different meds until you get one that works for you. everyone is different and you have to experiment to find out what works for you and what doesn't. it took me months to find the right ones and after a few years i still need to switch up my meds occasionally. but i'm coping with everything, you could be too, if you wanted to get the help you need.

ok so i would like to preface this by saying i have not watched the movie nor do i plan to so if there are slight inaccuracies i apologize. i have better things to do in my life than watch the trash that j*ff d*avis calls an amazing teen wolf movie.

this will also contain spoilers tho everyone and their mother has been publicly announcing said spoilers so you’ve probably already heard it but if you haven’t been spoiled and don’t want to be i suggest you stop reading here. this is going to be a long one.

i would bet my last fucking dollar that j*ff goes to sleep at night thinking he did something soooo deep with his derek eli parallel and really came full circle with derek’s arc but like my guy (derogatory) IT WAS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING TO PARALLEL/GO FULL CIRCLE WITH.

for those that don’t remember (which tbh is probably no one if you’re scrolling through any of these tags) when derek was 15/16, kate manipulated him and killed his family by setting fire to the house, leading to him then blaming himself for his entire family dying. so someone tell me why j*ff had derek die by burning to death in front of his own child.

there is quite literally no way in hell derek would willingly choose to inflict the same trauma and guilt onto his own child who, which from everything i’ve read and heard, he loves very much. it is such an incredibly out of character decision that, if i didn’t know how much j*ff hates both us and derek, i would question whether he and i were even talking about the same character.

when we meet derek all the way back in season 1 of the show, he had lived as an orphan for like 5ish or so years (idr how old he was but it was something like that) and you can tell he is traumatized. he literally had the whole “bad guy” persona going for him which is typically reserved for someone with immense trauma (tho i would like to note on a larger scale that it does not excuse anyone’s actions. if they do anything bad they should still be held accountable for it. trauma/mental health can be a reason but it is not an excuse). he knows what it’s like to be lonely and grieving—it’s not really something someone just randomly forgets. and its because of that knowledge that there is no way derek would subject his son to not only being an orphan, but being present at his own orphaning.

and that’s the other thing too. eli was right there when derek sacrificed himself. you can probably imagine the trauma of losing a loved parent/loved one, but now try to imagine the trauma them suffering and burning to death right in front of you would cause. add on the fact that derek literally did it to save eli and now you’ve got an orphaned kid with survivors guilt and depression who will very likely have problems being around fire for the rest of his life.

from a literal standpoint, sure, everything comes full circle. the derek we know formed because everyone he loved died in a fire he blamed himself for, and we ended with his child losing someone he loved in a fire he too likely now blames himself for. but it completely trashed his character arc.

it’s not too dissimilar from dean winchesters death at the end of supernatural (which hey, maybe there’ll be a spanish version of the teen wolf movie that ends differently). dean always believed he’d die in a hunt, alone, without a family or anyone that loves him. a good character arc would show him realizing that he deserves good things in his life and deserves someone that he can settle down with and finally stop hunting (*cough* castiel *cough*), which is decidedly not what we got but anyway back on topic.

derek had all of this guilt and trauma that caused him to push people away, not think he’s deserving of good things, and really think of himself as a shitty person for being the reason his family died. a good arc is not having him sacrifice himself and prove that he can only be considered a “good person” if he’s useful to other people. it would show him (similar to dean) realizing he is deserving of happiness and being selfish for once in his life. it would be deciding he doesn’t want to die and give his son trauma but rather he wants to live and see his son grow up where the hardest parts of his childhood are losing a lax game or getting a bad grade on a test.

this is getting really long ik but i have one more thing. derek’s death was completely unnecessary. granted i haven't actually watched the movie, but you're telling me the only way to stop the demon thingy (i have completely forgotten what it acc was) was to hold it and burn it to death? i have 2 problems with this. firstly, when has anything in the teen wolf series been as easy as just fucking burning something to death. like genuinly. it's the "big bad" of the entire movie. why would the answer be to just burn it to death. there had to have been another way to kill it off. i get that there's no stiles to do the research, but lydia is literally a fucking genius. she definitely could've found another way to kill it and spare eli the trauma of watching his dad unneccesarily burn to death to save him.

my second problem is that they couldn't tie it up any other way??? like cmon they're supernatural creatures. you're telling me that the only way to stop the thing from moving was to grab it and sacrifice yourself? you couldn't trap it? tie it up maybe? grabbing was seriously the only option?

it just makes no sense to me. i understand parents not wanting their kids to suffer, but when there's a possibility of another option that isn't just burn to death in front of them you'd think they'd want to take that one instead. cause yeah, while no parent should have to watch their child die, that doesn't mean that children should have to watch their parent die a gruesome death. and the fact that derek was like well it can't be scott cause scott's the alpha of the pack and that would cause some problems oh well guess it'll have to be me. i don't have time to get into that especially without really knowing all the information and dialogue, but like ???? wtf ????

tldr: actual derek would in no way consider inflicting the same trauma onto eli that was inflicted onto him especially when there had to be other ways to kill it.

- Currently reading: ...i mean mostly just renheng fanfic but uhhh. i did read where the crawdads sing from delia owens (just plucked it out from the bookshelf randomly bc i was bored) a month or so back. it was neat but no like particular strong feelings abt it. it was very well written and i liked the flow of the prose a lot. also waiting for crooked kingdom to get a finnish translation bc i got six of crows in finnish and i dont do book series as mixed language sets generally. (also the translation work itself was just like an absolute fucking banger with the imagery and metaphors used like chef kiss)

- Currently watching: no particular show (last thing was when i rewatched fmab a couple months ago) going on but like. random video essays or informative stuff on yt honestly and its mostly for bg noise.

idk if i’ve ever talked about my primary character for new vegas (i just looked through the history of “new vegas” on my blog and couldn’t find anything about her) but here’s who she is (below a tag bc it gets a little lengthy):

unfortunately i don’t think i ever gave her a name, if i did i forgot it. let’s call her “sarah.” she was a “sheriff” of sorts from a town in one of the dakota’s i think, pretty close to the legion frontier. it was a kind of family thing, with her dad having been sheriff before her, her grandma before him, etc. anyways, one day she’s off doing something and comes back to find out the legion came and killed/enslaved everybody at home. i don’t remember if i ever hammered out the specifics here. but she decides she’s going to kill caesar himself and sets out to find him, killing as many of his legion as she can along the way.

close to new vegas she runs into courier 6. she’s a pretty lady (coincidentally looks a lot like sarah) and they end up having a little fling together. something happens, i don’t remember if i ever hammered it out, but courier 6 dies. sarah doesn’t really understand what she was trying to deliver, but figures she’ll try to deliver it herself, since she’s nearby the destination. 

not long after that she runs into benny, who mistakes her for courier 6, etc etc etc

after getting shot in the head, she loses a lot of her memory, and the ol’ doc tries to fill her in based on stuff she had on her, which, after the khans looted her “corpse,” consisted mostly of stuff courier six had. she doesn’t remember she’s “sarah” and thinks she’s “courier six,” whose name i also forget. spanish name, i think. idr. let’s call her “lopez” for now, random spanish surname i thought of. anyways, she goes after benny for revenge.

over time, she gradually regains her memory, but not until after a period where she “regains” memories as lopez, and genuinely thinks that’s who she is. by the end of the game she remembers who she really is, and goes to kill caesar at the battle of hoover dam. (do you kill caesar then? i’ve always killed him before then, so idk.)

this is an old ask (my backlog is massive, i’m so sorry to everyone everywhere), it’s about about this: 

let me say first that i’m hardly criticizing seb, i just think it’s one of those ‘oh okay sure seb’ moments where he’s operating off some idiosyncratic logic.

but let me put it this way anon. when, say, ohio enacts a law that lets healthcare providers discriminate against LGBTQ+ patients, i don’t say ‘this is embarrassing for the united states’ i say ‘this is really shitty for gay ohioans as well as a blow for the LGBTQ+ rights movement everywhere.’ you see what i mean?

i think he’s since made himself more clear but it’d be nice to have it be more consistently full-throated. at least, that’s what i’d advise seb to do, if seb took my advice.
