Rooms I want Ikemen vampire ver.

Number three is Jean!

As simple as the room is I absolutely love the simplicity and I think it looks really pretty at night. However, it does feel like it needs more storage units like shelves if I were to use it for real.

Number two is Isaac!

Isaac’s room is very cozy looking and since I get cold easily that I would be nice. Plus, I really like the shape of his bed. And there’s enough room for storage which is another bonus! The only downside is how dim everything is.

Number one is Arthur!

What can I say? This man has the best room. I mean he has the bed, storage, and the lights aren’t that dim. The only problem for me is how there’s this random stack of gifts on the ground.

Honorable mention, Vincent!

I think his bedroom is a mixture of art and rest. Although, I dislike how small the bed is. Not to mention it looks kinda uncomfortable. This is just my judgment because I have a furniture piece similar to that and it hurts to sleep on.

Things That Make Us Happy

key words: Jean x Reader, fluff

The right way to one's heart is to find a shared hobby. If you are fortunate enough, you’ll become friends. And if not, well..at least you tried.

Optimistic thoughts like this were definitely flaming in your mind when you asked Jean to kindly help you cook something for dinner.

Marinating chicken without Sebastian’s presence in the kitchen was an act of boldness even for Napoleon, so you decided to prepare something less sophisticated yet nutritious and tasty.

Having picked up pumpkin pie for a dessert, you both took your position on the site. At first, everything went almost too smoothly. The two of you sorted the ingredients in colorful bowls, put on pair aprons and even had a good laugh after hearing Theo stepping on Lumier’s tail in the darkness of the library.

And then it went completely wrong.

You asked Jean to separate the yolk from the whites and went to pour some water in the pot. When you turned back, Jean was about to crush a small pyramid of eggs with his sword.

— W-wait! Let’s do it this way…take a knife.

— Got it.

But this was not the end of your adventures. After dealing with the ab ovo stage you allowed your sous chef to knead the dough.

Little did you know about the consequences of it.

Loud slaps and the sound of a rolling pin smashing the dough were threatening to turn the promised pie into a flat pancake.

— Please, try to do it calmly. Here, let me show you.

— …I’m sorry, mistress.

— Don't call me like that!

You were examining what once served as a kitchen with a look of humility. Probably, Shakespeare would be proud of the two of you since you managed to create a self-made stage set for the last duel between Hamlet and Laertes. A trail of eggshells was like a shingle beach, and the yellow icicles made of dough and pumpkin juice somehow reminded you of tapestries fluttering on the walls of a medieval castle.

Still, you were so proud of your team. The sight of the legendary French soldier peeling pumpkins with innocent delicacy and listening patiently to all your explanations spread sudden warmth in your chest, something sweet but painful — overwhelming fondness.

You put the dough in a baking dish and lifted it up to Jean’s lips.

— Some cultures believe that if you kiss the yummy before baking, you’ll put all your feelings in it and the food will be even more delicious. Kiss it or miss it!

Embarrassment was definitely breaking through the facade of distant coldness on his face, and you couldn't help but smile. In truth, you were really touched that not for a single moment did Jean consider your words as a joke — though they truly were the one. He was trying to figure out the message behind them and — oh, God! — was about to present you 1000 and 1 ways of performing the difficult task you gave him.

— Is that…so?

But you were no longer listening to Jean. It required all your willpower not to rush in excitement and start jumping on one leg. You wanted to taste your cooking masterpiece so badly! What at first was just a poor attempt to spark a gloss of curiosity in charoite eyes now turned into a funny game — were the two amateurs able to catch a break? — in which you wanted to be on the winner’s side.

— Come on, let's bake it! Though, I wonder whether we put too much cinnamon, and also…

The man’s handsome face was suddenly too close. A moment lasted forever — finally the night coldness of his lips touched the morning warmth of your cheek. It was a miracle that you managed not to drop the baking dish in your hands.

There was a desperate need to say something, yet your heart was quicker than your mind. Jean was looking at you calmly, but you could see blushes covering the paleness of his skin, and it was merely as beautiful as the view of pink snowdrops breaking through the whiteness of snow.

— It should work.

— Jean..why on Earth did you do this?

— Mademoiselle told me to kiss her so the food would be more tasty, non?

— I was talking about the pie…

That evening the famous Arthur and Dazai’s ‘cheeks as red as an apple’ joke wasn't pointed at Isaac for the very first time.

Ikemen Vampire inspired jewerly!!

To be perfectly honest, I didn't have the intentions of selling any of these pieces when I made them. However, I thought it would be nice for fellow fans of the game to enjoy jewelry inspired their favorite suitor. Plus, these designs were just too pretty to hold them captive for myself.

With each design I tried to incorporate a bit of the suitor and like always it's not over the top. Just something casual you could wear on your day to day. I'll be going more in depth in the future!

Ikemen Vampire reaction to MC wanting a hug from them

1. Napoleon Bonaparte

He'd rub his eye open and give you a sleepy half hug but then his arms would fall on the small of your back and Napoleon would instantly pull you inside the covers with him. He then shows you a naughty smirk as he tickles your sides -

"Lay with me for awhile Nunuche"

2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

He hugs you grumpily saying that he was busy composing pieces and kisses your head. You giggle at your cute boyfriend and tiptoe to kiss him but he moves away and inspects your face -

"What's with the sudden affection are you feeling unwell?"

3. Leonardo Da Vinci

He chuckles when you ask him that and still picks you up in his arms and places playful kisses across your shoulder and collarbones. You two then end up making out only to find Sebastian looking at you wide-eyed-

"I guess they found out about our little secret cara mia"

4. Arthur Conan Doyle

He moves side to side and plays hard to get so you two end up chasing each other in the garden and at last you spring out from a bush and tackle him down and give him a nice and long smooch-

"Luv, if you wanted me that bad you could've just said so."

5. Isaac Newton

Surprisingly Isaac smiles at you and pulls you to his chest his exhaustion long forgotten. He strokes the sides of your face and goes to sleep hugging you like that.

"Sleep well my darling"

6. Jean D' Arc

Jean wasn't a big fan of cuddles early on in the relationship but now he'll paractically melt if you hug him. Your lovely smell relaxing him.

"Don't tell this to anyone but I find your hugs very comforting."

7. Comte De Saint Germain

He smiles at you and hugs you tight. Maybe he'll procrastinate his paper work for a while and snuggle with you. *Wink wonk*

"You know you don't have to ask for a hug right, cherie?"

8. Sebastian/ Akihiko Satou

He's a busy man so he'll give you a quick hug and place a soft kiss on your brow showing you a guilty smile. You can't blame him though, it sure is hard taking care of a mansion full of vampires.

"Allow me 5 more minutes my love, I'll attend to you shortly."

9. William Shakespeare

He knew you were under the weather so it doesn't take much time for him to spread his arms wide for you and cradles your face in his hands placing a chaste kiss on your forehead.

"Fair maiden of mine, do tell what is the reason behind all your worries."

10. Vincent Van Gogh

He puts down his paintbrush and gives you a bright smile. He kisses you on the cheek and hugs you tight, still giving light kisses on your nape and ears.

"Would you like to see me paint my Schatje ?"

11. Theodorous Van Gogh

He blushes and grumbles how you shouldn't be doing things like this and just hug him whenever you like. Lets you sit on his lap and play with his hair.

"Don't mess up my hair too much Hondje, or I'll have to tickle you down."

12. Dazai Osamu

The writer picks you up spins you around as sounds of pure joy erupt from both of you. He sets you down and gives you an adorable bear hug, his hugs sure are the best.

"You're real adorable, you know that right?"

This is stuck in my head so now it's stuck in yours.

MC waking up from a really good nap still half-asleep. Looks out the window and sees Leonardo, Arthur, Theo and Jean all gathered together discussing something in the garden. MC opens up the window wanting to greet her boyfriend Jean.

MC: Hello, What's cooking, good-looking. (Waving at the boys return to look at MC from the upstairs window.)

Mozart who just walked out of his piano room and hears MC.

Mozart: MC, how could you say something so cruel to Jean? (Looking very concerned on the comment he overheard.)

MC now fully awake and realize that Jean might not actually understand the modern slang of greeting. Begins to panic.

MC: I MEANT HOW ARE YOU, YOU GOOD LOOKING MAN NOT HOW WAS IT TO BE BURNED ALIVE. I'M SO SORRY. (MC tries to hide from the collective eyes. MC can hear Arthur let out a wheeze while trying to run away.)

MC precedes to run away to hide in shame. Mozart watches even more confused then when he first walked out of the piano room. Jean watching MC run away through the windows they pass feeling mildly concerned and flattered. The others trying their best not to piss themselves laughing at the train wreck of Jean and MC flirting with each other.

What makes Charles-Henri Sanson a member of team cacao?

Out of everyone in the whole cast of Ikemen Vampire, Charles is the one character who is honest in how he feels.

He’s someone who is in constant search of love to the point it pains him to come back alive. There isn’t any story of Charles that I’ve read where he hasn’t gotten terribly insecure and showed us those puppy eyes either. All of the emotions he goes through are very reflective of his actions and shows up on his face too. Which made it a little hard for me to make my judgment.

For someone so honest about their feelings it almost feels off for a character from this game. That’s probably the reason why I hesitate on where to place him for the longest time. Since, his route isn’t out in the english version a lot of my references were based on the event stories out with him in them. After reading through so many I found that he’s a part of team cacao.

For those of you keeping up with this series you would know by now that Jean is another member of team cacao. The two of them are characters who have bittersweet moments while also being passionately in love. Simmarly the two of them work on expanding their world bit by bit through meeting the MC.

On the other hand, he derives from Jean’s intense feelings of pushing the MC away. What I mean is that Charles doesn’t run away during tense times like Jean does. Charles acknowledges the outcome and in a roundabout way will confront it. That too is an intense feeling which makes up a part of team cacao.

Like Jean, Charles also carries a heavy burden wherever he goes, that being the lives he took. Charles was an executioner who broke his own heart while complying to his job. I don’t know much about his past, yet it breaks my heart. That being said, team cacao should be made clear that they aren’t for the faint of heart.

Anyway, that concludes my description for Charles and if you like men like him, I highly recommend Jean D Arc from Ikemen vampire.

I literally can't continue reading Joan of Arc's Personal Recollections if I keep on crying 🥺 I'm still at the Translator's Preface but my heart's already 💔 I truly wanna know what her life is about... and I might, after reading all books about her...

Bottom's up! Who would be the best to hold their alcohol? (Ikemen Vampire)

Comte de Saint-Germain: This man was an aristocrat for centuries! It's to nobody's surprise that he can keep drinking. Nobody has ever seen him drunk.

Leonardo da Vinci: He will always have drinking contests with Comte. Maybe it's a perk for pure-blood vampires, but he can drink barrels and still hold it. Or is it the cigarillos?

Theodorus van Gogh: He's a huge heavy. Nobody can outdrink him besides the mom and dad of the mansion. Theo wishes once in a while that he wasn't a heavy so he doesn't have to pay the bill and leave with a very drunk Arthur dragged by the leg.

William Shakespeare: He always drinks alone inside his villa. Don't even question it.

『ｈｉｇｈ－ｔｉｅｒ』

Napoleon Bonaparte: He can hold his alcohol pretty well. It would take him a lot of shots to just get him tipsy. He can't compare to Theo, though.

Dazai Osamu: This guy can surprisingly drink a lot. He forces Issac to drink with him frequently, which ends up in chaos. Just don't drink with this guy, he'll carry you home through the window unsafely and use your money to pay for all the drinks.

Sebastian: He's pretty resilient for a person who was born and raised in Japan. Alcohol is no stranger to him, but he doesn't drink often because of his duties and "note-taking". He would be a very good person to drink with.

『ｍｉｄ－ｔｉｅｒ』

Arthur Conan Doyle: Goes out to bars a lot, but can't hold his alcohol too well. Give him about five or six shots and he's drunk. Give him another three and he's passed out. At least you'll see an emotional, clingy drunk.

Jean d'Arc: He was 18 when he died, he never experienced the art of drinking. Somehow he can hold it for a little bit longer than Arthur, but he becomes a giggly happy drunk like Mozart. Get a camera.

Vincent Van Gogh: Despite how he looks, emitting purity and innocence, he can hold his alcohol pretty okay.

『ｌｏｗ－ｔｉｅｒ』

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Give him two or three drinks and he'll be smiling like there's no tomorrow. He absolutely hates the fact he's a happy drunk and Arthur and Dazai takes "responsibility" to make fun of him and show him pictures of him.

Issac Newton: Help.
