sorry you've got art block !
perhaps you could draw noe with murr or vanitas? i hadn't seen any vnc art of yours, but i think he'd be cool in your style! (as long as you get noe's skintone right,,,i've seen a few artists on here make him so white before, and it always makes me cringe)
if you'd like something more specific, feel free to ask lol

i'm gonna say it.
i think some of you guys are too mean on heartstopper for no actual good reason.
just because a media is targeted towards teens doesn't lessen its value as queer media. i'm not saying its devoid of critique or anything. it can be like any other queer media. but like any queer media it has a right to exist.
i've been seeing a lot of cynical losers spur on about the show for being what it is; a teen romcom.
while i completely understand (and even agree) with the critique that the "cutest gay stuff" is clearly favoured by companies as it's easy marketability instead of more adult queer media, that doesn't have to do with the media itself. it has to do with companies seeing creativity through marketability, not for what it is.

I wish masking less at work was easier! I am naturally not that verbal unless I'm talking about a special interest, but I know that not talking makes people uncomfortable ... but it's so draining for me in such a specific way
it's not that I'm ignoring people when they talk to me, it's just that certain types of people read me as upset or mad or tired if I am not emoting every time they try and engage me ... and it just so happens that I work with quite a few of those types of people lol

i had a really weird interaction on youtube the other week. i commented on a short tv clip of someone gay doing something funny a few years ago and i said smth sweet and generic like “oh wow that’s cute i love him” and it became a top comment so sometimes i still get notifications of ppl liking or replying to it.
but for some reason, you know how faceless people on the internet will say their most shallow and judgmental thoughts to a real person like it’s not the rudest thing you can do? yeah that happened. i had left the most impersonal, inoffensive comment in the world but someone responded to me “just admit you’re only entertained bc he’s obviously gay and you project your lack of a personality onto that”
and i was just like. honestly shocked. like what? you literally don’t know me at all. i didnt even say I WAS GAY in the comment or anything about being gay it was LITERALLY just a tv clip i thought was funny and cute. but this angry homophobe who clearly just hates to see queer ppl have fun and make jokes on the internet made it *my* problem...
and like first of all i don’t do that. i don’t just identify w everyone i come across who is queer and funny and root for them for that reason alone. the only person i project my lack of personality onto is dave davies... ok... chill out that’s not what i watch jeopardy for, that’s why i listen to the kinks

It has come to my attention that I currently lack queer friends so if you're queer and ready to deal with my bullshittery and complete tomfoolery, DMS are open .
Please be respectful, I will not tolerate any form of toxicity and you'll be instantly blocked and reported.
This has been an important message.
Good luck. (With dealing with my ass lol)

"[x] sexuality/gender is just cis/het people who want to feel special"
gender and sexuality is complicated and nuanced actually and just because you don't get it since it doesn't fit into your small idea of gender and sexuality doesn't mean it's bad or wrong, it just means you're a bigot.
if someone says they're a certain gender or sexuality then maybe, it's because they are that gender or sexuality. maybe you should fucking believe them. because it's not your damn job or damn business to tell them otherwise. queer identities are not and never have been simple or easy to put into clean boxes.
there will always be identities that people call 'cis/het people trying to be special' because they're reducing those identities to the most bad faith, twisted version of it that it can be while actively ignoring the actual lived experiences of the ppl who identify with it. I'm sooo fucking tired of it. so tired.
if your identity has ever been invalidated like this just know that i see you. i feel you. i stand by you. your identities are not bad or less queer than more accepted/known ones. you belong in queer spaces just like every other queer identity and no one but yourself gets to decide what words are acceptable to describe your own personal experiences.
