If people would just take a step back, they would have realized that the apartment from the videos is structurally different from JK's apartment. He's been doing numerous long weverse lives and walks around. You can basically have a 360-degree view of the interior of his place.
There are similarities but there also inconsistencies. I've also considered that it might be him when I first saw those videos, but the fact that there is a wall between his windows, but there is none in those videos, would be difficult to explain. You'll only see windows from end to end that you can even see the curtains. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but it makes me sad that a poor quality video was enough for some to drop JK and call him names.
I keep receiving a lot of asks about the windows in the video not matching JK's windows. I've seen some analyses, but I think they might be wrong. My only reason for doing this post is so people stop asking me why I believe the video is real , when the windows don't match.
Before you read this, please watch this video of the layout of JK's apartment and pay close attention to it, especially between 2:24 and 2:58.
Disclaimer: I am not saying I am right and I am not trying to convince anyone of anything, but after a lot of thought and careful observation, this is what I came up with:
1. The apartment is on the first floor/parter of the Brunnen building. The living room has two big windows. Both contain a big fixed, unmoving window and a sliding window glass door. There is a wall dividing the two windows. On the opposite side is the wall with the security system. On the right is a hallway, and on the left is some sort of free space, sort of like a hole in the wall.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
2. The sliding doors open to a patio area, which is surrounded by a tall black wall, partially obscuring the visibility from the buildings on the other side.
Tumblr media
3. The sliding door to the patio is actually not a singular door, but there are two separate doors, sliding on both sides of the main window. There is one main door on the inside, sliding on the inner surface of the big window , and nother door/protective screen on the outside, sliding on the outside of the big window. You can see that the rail for the outside door travels along the entire length of the main glass window, meaning it can probably move a lot to the right.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. A very important point: the two doors have separate frames, and they move separately from one another. In the video above , you can see the real estate agent opening them separately, one of after the other and moving them to the side. This picture shows pretty well that there are two doors and they don't move together, but separately. (One can be closed, while the other is completely open etc)
Tumblr media
5. If you go on google Street View, you can see there are a lot of cables hanging in front of the building, forming sort of a net in every direction. Remember this, it's important.
Tumblr media
Now, many people seem to think the windows in the video don't match because JK's apartment doesn't have so many windows and because of the missing dividing wall and second hallway. When you look at the picture below, it seems like the apartment in the video has at least 4 windows:
Tumblr media
But here is the kicker: these may not all be separate windows, or windows at all, and if this is JK's house, the video actually doesn't show the entirety of his living room walls.
I believe the video is taken from somewhere higher on the other side of the street, at an angle from the left of the building, and is very zoomed. I think it doesn't actually show the entire wall of Jungkooks' apartment and all his windows in the living room. Rather, it only shows a part of the big window in front of the sofa (but not the whole of it) and the two sliding doors connected to it. In fact, you can actually see a part of the tall black wall in the lower part of the frame and even a zoomed up image of one of the cables in the surrounding of the building.
Many people blamed JK for not closing his curtains, and actually used this as an "evidence" this couldn't be him in tne video, but I think Jungkook actually had his curtains closed, just not all the way. He had one curtain drawn, covering most of the big window in his living room, and the other pushed to the side, in front of the sliding doors. You can see it in the first picture on the atmost left. Initially, it looks like some sort of a white wall, but the Brunner building is black, so it can't be a wall. But it definitely can be a curtain. We know JK's curtains are a light color, and you can see how this "white thing" isn't as opaque or as uniform in color as a wall would be. in fact, in the original video, you can sort of see a tiny bit around it. It seems like it is moving a little, and it looks a little sheer.
Tumblr media
The main thing you need to understand in order to get my theory is the position of the doors, which we now know are two, not one, and they move separately from one another.
To me it, it looks like the outside door to the patio is moved a lot to the right in the direction of the big window. The inside door is moved a smaller distance to the right and is partly opened, with the open space being covered by the white curtain. Both doors overlap at one place, creating the illusion of a smaller green rectangular window, but actually, it is just a zone where the doors and the main big window, around which the slide, all overlap. Sort of like if someone went outside and pushed both doors to the side in process. Then the person came back inside, leaving the outside door how it was and pulling the inside door, closing it partly, but still leaving a small open space, with the curtain in front of it.
Tumblr media
I see many people saying this couldn't be Jungkook's apartment because the dividing wall before the kitchen and living room is not there, but the video is very zoomed, probably because the person filming is on the other side of the street and somewhere higher above (in order to see above the big black wall). It only shows only one of the windows. We can it is very zoomed in by the zoomed in image of the cable at the forefront of the frame, looking huge. (When you zoom in on something further in the distance, the objects closest to you look enormous). And we know that there are many hanging cables outside of the building. If the video was more zoomed out or the person was filming more to the right, we would have been able to see the dividing well.
I also see people saying it couldn't be the same apartment because you only see one hallway to the right of the security system, but again, the video is very zoomed, and the hall in the wall in the left is not visible because of the partly drawn white curtain, and the viewing angle (somewhere from the left of the building).
Anyway, I hope this makes sense to some of you. I tried as best as I could, but it is hard to explain it properly, and I am definitely not good at drawing. I don't claim to be right, just a theory, so don't come at me. And let's not forget that, above all, JK is human, and he never should have had his privacy validated like this.

A Recipe for Leaving No Trace
We were thrilled to read about the rail sabotage during the last week of action, and the proposal for it’s proliferation. We also appreciated that operational details were made explicit, though we have some concerns we want to bring up about how what is described may leave traces.
When starting a fire, the goal should be that everything that you must touch will burn, if possible. Here is a simple recipe that can enable that:
– a plastic (PET) bottle that is square – this allows the bottle to be placed on it’s side without rolling. Bottle size can be determined by the size of the signal box.
– gasoline in the bottle, with enough air space left for fumes, so as to avoid leakage. Motor oil can be added to help prolong the burn, which is helpful for the cabling within a signal box.
– an individually packaged fire cube as the igniter
The accelerant bottle is placed on its side. The fire cube is then placed on top of the bottle. The fire cube is then lit with a storm lighter, being careful to not pierce the bottle by mistake. Once alight, the fire cube will pierce the plastic bottle and gravity will drop it into the accelerant. Mischief managed.
With this simple recipe, there is no delay that introduces a risk of failure. Everything that you interacted with (the bottle, the fire cube) is basically guaranteed to burn – even after taking the appropriate measures to minimize DNA traces during building and transporting the device, this should still be a goal. The bottle and the cube can even be transported by separate individuals, so that the bottle is never legally an “incendiary device”, simply the improper storage of accelerant.
Some notes on lock cutting: it is possible to cut a lock with a fresh pair of bolt cutters without ever touching the signal box door. Be aware that if the same pair of bolt cutters is used multiple times, each cut can then be tied back to that specific pair of bolt cutters. Additionally, DNA may accumulate on the section of the bolt cutters interacting with the door, which could transfer it. If the lock must be handled to remove it, it can then be taken away from the scene of the action to be securely discarded. To avoid needing to interact with the door directly, a branch can be used to open it, then also taken away to be discarded.
Here are the concerns we have about the approach that is described in the claim:
– Dried pine and trash is not a reliable accelerant, so it is possible that it will not burn completely. This means that something which was handled won’t burn.
– A road flare is not a suitable igniter for the same reason, unless we are talking about kicking off a tire fire, when the tires have been previously soaked in accelerant. The part of the flare which is handled is not guaranteed to burn, especially in the absence of accelerant. For the same reason, a road flare not reliable for cars – it’s a toss of the dice whether the interior will catch or the flare will burn out and be recovered.
– Fireworks are not a suitable incendiary device – there are almost certainly parts of the firework which will not burn. Tape should also be avoided.
– Do not shut the signal box door. The fire needs oxygen, or will otherwise extinguish.
– Jumper cables are inevitably recovered. For this reason, we think that if people use this tactic, it should not be claimed alongside arson. Multiple tests have shown that jumper cables are not effective, at least in our region – a train still passed on the tracks up to an hour later, even if the lighting system was visibly triggered by the cable.
No trace, no case. <3 <3

Sydney Trains K set
Class of electric train operating in Sydney, Australia
The Sydney Trains K sets are a class of electric multiple units that currently operate on the Sydney Trains network. Built by A Goninan & Co, the K sets first entered service in 1981 operating under the State Rail Authority, and later CityRail. The carriages are of stainless steel, double deck construction and share much of their design with the older S sets. All of the 40 K sets originally built (160 carriages) remain in service and are currently the oldest in the Sydney Trains fleet.

A K set in its original State Rail Authority livery in the 1980s. Some sets were originally classified as R sets.
The first order featured low mounted upper deck windows, off-white and sagebrush grey interiors, and unpainted fronts. The second order featured higher mounted upper deck windows, yellow and mustard interiors and State Rail Authority candy livery fronts. The first four trailers were built as driving trailers allowing them to operate in two-car formation, although in practice they were formed into four carriage sets and often ran together as one eight-car set until 1988. These also differed in the subsequent deliveries in being fitted with air conditioning from new, rather than pressure ventilation. To provide a spare, C3550 & T4216 were also built with air conditioning. All ten carriages were fitted with different windows, being sheet glass with small opening hoppers. This was replaced with sheet glass in 1993.
To accommodate the air conditioning and associated equipment, the pantograph had to be shifted to the adjacent trailer car to which the power car is semi-permanently coupled with high voltage cables connecting the two cars. Although some power cars and trailers have been broken up and married with others during periods of heavy maintenance, many original combinations remain.
The control carriages have a flat front, with headlights at the top. They were built with four sets of marker lights, standard at the time. Different combinations of white marker lights were used to indicate different destinations. Flip-dot destination displays were installed later on, which covered the upper middle marker light. Since destination displays have been installed, marker light combinations are no longer necessary, so usually only the two upper marker lights are used. However, some trains still retain the switch for the lower marker light. The front of the train also has an emergency door for the guard compartment and windscreen wipers for the driver window only. Hoses and receptacles are provided below the windows to connect another set, since, unlike newer trains, the coupler does not carry electrical or air connections.
Like other trains of the time, the crew compartment contains a smaller compartment for the driver on the left side (in direction of travel). The guard uses the area outside of the driver's compartment, with two manual hinged doors on either side providing access to platforms. Above these doors, on the outside are blue lights indicating which compartment the guard is in.
Each vestibule has two-panel sliding doors on either side. Each door also has a vent underneath the window, which was covered when air-conditioning was installed. The doors cannot detect obstacles and continue pushing against the obstruction until it is removed or the guard reopens the doors. Small orange LEDs are located above the doors on the outside that flash when the doors are closing. They assist the guard in locating doors that haven't closed successfully. All trains were retrofitted with traction interlocking, meaning the driver cannot apply power when the doors are open.
In service
All K sets are crewed with a driver and guard. The guard uses the rear cab on a two or four-car train. On eight car trains, the guard usually uses the 5th carriage so that the entire platform can be seen. However the 4th carriage cab can also be used if there is a problem with the 5th carriage one.
All the K sets were delivered to either Hornsby or Punchbowl depots. With the trials on the ten experimental carriages judged successful, in 1986 a programme commenced to retrofit air conditioning to the second order. This saw the Beclawat windows replaced with sheet glass. It would be July 1990 before the programme was completed.
In April 1989, K sets commenced operating peak-hour services via the North Shore line to Gosford. This was extended to Wyong in January 1992. In September 1990, all Punchbowl based sets were transferred to Hornsby.
In January 1991, four sets were transferred to Flemington Maintenance Depot to operate peak-hour Illawarra line services to Port Kembla.
To replace U sets on stopping services between Gosford and Newcastle, the sets with driving trailers were re-marshaled as two-car sets from October 1996.
Following the delivery of the outer suburban Tangara sets in 1994, the K sets ceased operating the Central Coast and Illawarra services.
Upper deck after the CityDecker refurbishment of the 1990s.
During the late 1990s, all were refurbished by A Goninan & Co as part of the CityDecker program. This saw the interiors refurbished with white walls and ceilings, grey floors and blue seats. Power cars received a destination indicator and had yellow applied to the lower half of their fronts. Sliding Beclawat windows on the pressure ventilated cars were replaced with hopper windows and doors painted yellow. The first order was finally retrofitted with air conditioning just prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympics. These cars retained the hopper windows until the late 2000s, but were sealed shut with an adhesive to avoid the loss of air conditioning.
After the introduction of a new timetable in October 2009, all K sets were allocated to Hornsby to operate North Shore, Northern & Western line services, operating in 8-car formations. This was due to the noise levels inside trains when operating on the Epping to Chatswood segment. Older S sets lack sufficient sound insulation for passengers, while newer Tangara sets don't have sufficient cooling in the dynamic braking system to deal with extended shuttle runs through the tunnel.
In mid-2014, K sets are gradually transferred from Hornsby to Flemington resulting in their resumption of service on the Airport, Inner West & South, Bankstown, Carlingford and Olympic Park lines. K60 to K86 were previously running these lines, based out of Flemington Depot. Prior to 2017, K87–99 continued to run part-time on the T1 North Shore, Northern & Western lines.
In October 2013, the 2 car K Sets (K1–4) were withdrawn from NSW TrainLink Gosford to Newcastle services. The four driving trailers were converted to ordinary trailers at Hornsby and the sets returned to service on Sydney Trains services in March 2014 as K98 and K99. The existing K98 was re-numbered K91. The driver cabins in these carriages were stripped of controls however the actual walls were kept intact. The doors to the driver cabin are kept locked and the blinds are kept down. There are no passenger seats where the crew compartment used to be. Also, unlike converted S set cars, the round window on the crew compartment doors were removed and covered with a metal plate.
In July 2017, asbestos was found in the circuit breaker panels, which is inside the driver compartment of the K sets, with all withdrawn for inspection for a few weeks. All have since returned to service.
After the introduction of a new timetable in November 2017, all K sets were transferred to Sector 2.
In late 2017 and early 2018, all K sets and C sets were slightly refurbished with all poles and other safety features repainted yellow.
In 2019, set K96 was withdrawn from passenger service and had Automatic Train Protection (ATP) equipment installed. It has conducted ATP testing since then and will be retained following the retirement of the rest of the fleet for this purpose.
K sets operate on the following lines:
T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Leppington or Parramatta to City Circle via Granville
T3 Bankstown Line: Liverpool or Lidcombe to City Circle via Bankstown
T8 Airport and South Line: Macarthur to City Circle via Airport or Sydenham
They were formerly in operation on the T6 Carlingford line until it was closed in January 2020.
Preservation
While at the moment there are no developed plans for the preservation of any K set cars, Sydney Electric Train Society has expressed interest in preserving at least one. K96 will likely be retained for the purposes of ATP testing after the K sets are withdrawn from revenue service.
Several heritage tours have used K sets prior to retirement, these have been:

The Messenger, Eclipse
Part 2, Chapter 1 - The Freeway Chapter 2
0004154 A.D. - Earth (Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy) New England, Empire of North America Interstate 407 - Second Layer - Eastbound Temporal Relocator and Closed Interior Environment (TRACIE) November 24th - 12:00 Noon
My name is Wendy Wendel - pronounced Wendy Vhendel - and this is the second part of my log.
It only makes sense to me that we should pick up where we left off. Eclipse and I had just entered Tracie again, and in minutes, he'd set us on-course for a point in the future. The lights inside Tracie were a lot brighter now - beneath the purple and pink primary lights, we were now showered in a brighter orange backing light, seeming to coincide with the fact that Eclipse had turned the heater on as soon as we'd entered. "Wendy, if you'd be so kind," he asked, standing on the ceiling and pulling at some knobs and levers about the console. As usual, the alien's messy, wispy black hair was surrounding his pale face, parted down the center and spilling out onto the shoulders of his minty-green windbreaker. I could just barely see the 'VISIT MONTANA' shirt through either side of the zipper - evidently, that shirt was comfortable enough not to change out of. "There's a panel, about... six steps to your right, on the wall over there. Go walk over and open it up, we're getting Tracie to talk again."
As he instructed, I walked on the wall towards the panel he told me about. "This one?" I asked. "What am I looking for?" I pried open the polygonal cover, and gasped when I saw what was inside. My heart started to beat a little bit faster in anxiety, but I knew there had to be some rational explanation.
"Oh, right, I should probably tell you, it might look like I stuffed a corpse in there," he recalled.
"Really?" I asked, glaring up at him in case he hadn't picked up on the sarcasm. As an alien, I couldn't expect him to know everything about human interaction. "I hadn't noticed that!"
"Just- pull the girl out of the hole and set her up on the railing, OK?"
Just as he said, inside was what looked like a girl - she had white hair and a small face, her eyes sealed shut despite being opened up again. She wore a simple outfit - resembling a uniform you might see on Star Trek or something similar.
"And this is Tracie?" I asked.
"It's about to be," Eclipse answered. Holding onto a pair of cables, he jumped down from the ceiling towards the wall I was on, reaching out with the exposed ends once he'd landed. "Well, come on, bring her over."
On his request, that was what I did. Eclipse laid her down over the railing and pulled aside the back of her uniform - sticking the ends of the cables into matching slots that were embedded onto her back.
"Halley!" exclaimed the girl, promptly falling off of the railing, onto the floor where I was standing instead of up on the catwalk with Eclipse.
"Halley?" I asked. "Is that her name, or something?"
Eclipse shook his head. He didn't speak for a moment, but after collecting his thoughts, he stammered out a response. "Probably just a, maybe just a junk data square," he explained. "Something like that, definitely not her name."
"Right. Well, if it's not Halley, who is it?"
"Tracy," the girl answered. Once she'd pulled herself up from the floor and gripped the railing to steady herself, she climbed back up onto the catwalk.
"Tracy," Eclipse repeated. "She's the Time-Traveler's Roaming Android Computer... Y'all," he explained.
"Y'all?" Tracy and I asked.
"It was Y'all or Yinz, and I vowed never to use Yinz again, a long time ago."
"That still doesn't sound like a very professional acronym," I responded. "Is that really what it stands for?"
"Does it have to be? My ship, my rules. Besides, she agreed to it when I first powered her up, didn't she?"
"I'm afraid I can't remember that far back, there's-" Tracy began, but Eclipse cut her off near-instantly.
"Then it's settled, then. Either way - 4154 A.D., year of the freeway," he began. "This is where I usually bring people to get their shots. Well - it was where I brought Everett to get his shots. Just the one person, and it's not like he can join us now. Anyway, Tracy's going to manage the console and make idle chat, I'll be up in the front seat trying to navigate the highways. If anything happens, stay in the bubble. It's safer here than anywhere else, and it's already hidden inside a camper van facade. If we break down or overheat or anything, don't go out. You'll get lost in seconds."
"It can't be that hard," I replied. "We're on the highway, right? What's wrong with that?"
Tracy's hands braced on either side of her head. "In the year 4100, the Emperor of North America gives extreme executive power to the Axel Corporation for the construction of more efficient transit systems. By 4102, the highways are complete, but the Emperor's passing leaves Axel Corp. with unlimited financial power for the construction of more highways, as no previous rules can be overwritten by a different ruler," she recounted. "As a result, existing highways are upgraded with automatic conveyors and trash collection hardware."
"Essentially, a giant, concrete shell encasing the Earth in traffic, shuffling anything that isn't a car off to the side for sorting." Eclipse added. "Three suspended levels of interstate, and a base road beneath. We can't travel there because it's usually flooded with foot traffic, but we can coast along the bottom track until we find the right exit," he explained.
"Wh- So it's like a traffic lasagna?" I asked. "People really put that much faith in their public leaders in 4154?"
"Kinda-sorta," Eclipse answered - about the lasagna question, not the other question. "Really, it depends how thick you want your lasagna to be. And also, it's kind of hard to pin down what the cheese would be in this analogy, cause-"
"Well how do you navigate it? And what about the air?"
Tracy's hands braced together, then she spread them apart until a thin, blue hologram was projected between them. "Signs are placed at regular intervals as mile markers, interstate exits, emergency lanes, and freight truck weight checks. Earth's atmosphere has thickened by 14%."
"Thickened - oh, that sounds lovely," I answered back. "Can we pick another time to go to?" I asked. "If it were up to me, I'd rather not have to breathe through layers upon layers of CO2. I really don't understand why you'd want to bring anyone here."
As if on cue, Eclipse pulled up the zipper to his jacket and let a thick black muffler scarf drape over his face. "Cheap healthcare plan," he answered. "If you're gonna travel with me, you need your shots to combat space-illnesses. I would've gone for a decade and country with free healthcare, but they don't have the right antibodies for my species anywhere I've checked. Anyway, I've set up, like, forty appointments in this time slot alone. We'll probably bump into ourselves if we wait around too long, so we'd best make it quick or we'll cause an irreparable gash in the timestream."
"Or, worse, I'll suffocate since I'm not used to the outside air," I responded, holding onto the catwalk railing a little tighter. "Got another one of those mufflers?"
Tracy raised a hand and waited for both of us to acknowledge her, then she jumped in. "The chances of suffocation should significantly decrease once you've had your shots," she explained. "At this point in Earth's future, respiratory problems caused by outside forces have been effectively nullified through the Rinlen vaccine. If you'd like, I could escort you into the clinic once we've arrived, to ensure you do not collapse from oxygen deprivation."
"Yeah, yeah, but... still," I answered, gripping my arms. "It's... you know," I grumbled.
Eclipse's eyes narrowed in confusion, and he turned his head away. "Wendy, you're not scared of shots, are you?" he asked.
"No," I firmly answered, gripping the railing once again and standing a little taller. "I'm not afraid of shots, they just..."
Tracy glanced between Eclipse and I.
"Tracy," Eclipse called. "Execute program one. Scan Wendy here for... trypanophobia, if you will. She probably has, I don't know, twice the level of anyone's usual fear of shots."
Tracy's eyes glowed, and a bright pink laser grid scanned my body from head to toe. After a single blink from Tracy, it shut off. "Scanning complete. Scan indicates levels of 'trypanophobia, if you will,' 200% above average."
"See? Factually proven."
"Alright, fine, I'm scared of needles," I growled, frowning towards the two of them. "What's program one, anyway? Medical scan?"
A little ping came from Tracy as she was asked a direct question about her systems. "Program one is defined under a single parameter," she explained. "Prove the operator correct, and ignore deception inhibitors."
"You little cheat!" both Eclipse and I spat out, Eclipse speaking to Tracy, and I to Eclipse.
"Whose side are you on, anyway?" Eclipse added.
"The operator's," Tracy answered. "In the operator's own words, rule four - never lie."
"Rule five," Eclipse added. "Lie to people you don't trust!"
"Ms. Wendy Wendel is a trusted passenger aboard this ship," Tracy replied. "She is not to be lied to."
Eclipse crossed his arms and squeezed his fists a little tighter, shaking his head. "Whatever. Tracy, stay here and check the files. It's been a while since you woke up, I've probably entered a couple logs. Wendy, up to the front."
I followed Eclipse through corridor after corridor, room after room, until eventually, we came to the front of the camper van shell. I was surprised that there was even an interior - but behind me, I could see the mini-dinette and chairs of a regular camper, along with a tiny shower stall, a bunk, and a really old CRT TV. Looking out through the windows, it was exactly as Eclipse had described - highway as far as the eye could see, suspended high over the ground, darkness engulfing the earth below. Cars zoomed about - pointed and jagged designs, primarily, with a few vintage-looking vehicles and some that resembled more modern ones. It was only noon, yet the sky was a golden yellow color, a thin ring of brown across the horizon I could see. Despite how new it felt, my eyes were trained on the cars.
"How come some of the cars look the same?" I asked. "They look like the ones from 2023. If it's the future, what's up with that?"
"Oh, mostly nostalgia," Eclipse replied. "Humans are one of the only species I know of that can have nostalgia for something they've never experienced," he remarked. "Right, no, right - you're probably wondering about how far humans have come, huh? I'll tell you the short answer, not very far. At least, not in this year. You did, as a species, accomplish a lot - but this whole decade's sort of a backslide," he explained. "Don't worry. It gets better over time. Was better before this, but - well, bears and bulls, you know how it goes."
I looked out at the sky, crossing my arms as we both took seats at the front of the camper. "Well, when you said you could travel in time, I didn't actually believe it," I answered. "I knew aliens could exist, but this is something else."
"Wendy," he started, buckling up and grabbing the wheel - turning the key as if to signal to Tracie that he was ready to take over driving. "I'm very good at lying, but I told you, not to people I trust."
"So you're only good at lying to people you don't trust? Is that why you set up the rules?" I asked.
"Yes, that's exactly why," he answered, smiling and rolling his eyes.
Future or not, traffic was traffic. It took us a good twenty minutes on the road before we reached the exit he was looking for. The exit ramp was a corkscrew spiral - as we were going down, I could see another track beside us, spiraling upwards to get onto the layer above.
"Look out for turn-off 809," he called, twisting the wheel back into position. "Should say OB-40 beneath it."
"Any idea how far it'll be?" I asked. My eyes remained on the streets above us, looking at the supports keeping each road up in the air. "Is it on the left or the right?"
"To the right," he answered. "Just tell me the mile-marker."
"We're on 804 right now," I answered. "But while we're here, why did you have Tracy in storage like that?"
"Well, Tracie was off the whole time I was in the 2020s," he answered. "The computer wouldn't have done anything, so I just turned her off for a little while, at least for as long as she couldn't speak. It gets a little hard to watch when someone you know just suddenly goes lifeless."
His explanation fit, as usual, but it didn't sound as thorough as it could have been. He seemed like the type who reveled in his explanations - at least, he did so far - so it was a little off how quickly he waved it away. "Right, well. What sort of clinic are we going to?"
"Family-owned type. The smaller the place, the easier it is to spot malpractice."
"Here I thought we would've found out all there is to know about the body by 2500."
Eclipse shook his head. "Nope. It's actually astonishing how far you guys manage to go without figuring out your biology." After glancing towards me, he held his breath and averted his eyes, maybe sensing a slap incoming. "Right, no, right - impressive technological advancements, though."
"Doing better," I remarked. "Maybe lead with the compliments next time."
It took a while, but eventually, we reached the bottom layer - apparently, it was the closest we could go to the Earth's surface. The ground was a darker gray color, and despite how well-paved the road was up above, the ground wasn't so clean. It was as if I'd stepped into medieval times, with the path before us full of pedestrians. Progress slowed to a crawl as Eclipse tried to see something through the crowd. "Keep your eyes open," he instructed. "We don't want hitchhikers, and we're looking for a parking spot."
Per his instruction, I looked out into the crowd of people. Most were soot-covered, even the more fashionable ones. On closer inspection, the ones closest to us weren't covered in soot - instead, it looked like the condensed smoke from the exhaust of the millions of cars above. I was suddenly quite self-conscious about how I was dressed.
"We're walking?" I asked. "Through all this?"
"Why, can't walk?"

Picture Hanging Rail: Innovative Solutions for Displaying Your Art
In art and interior design, you must get deeply involved in spectacularly displaying your invaluable possessions. Set foot on the picture hanging rail, which is a superb idea that changes how we feel about the works of art, photographs, and memories exhibited.
What is a Picture Hanging Rail?
A picture hanging rail is a stylish, discreet, and adaptive system that gives your art collection the premium visibility it deserves. Unlike the old method of hammered nails or adhesives, these rails upgraded the antique art hanging to a stylish and smart one. These are usually a track flush with or slightly above the wall space and various hangers or cables that fit the frames, canvases, or other display items you'd like to showcase.
The Benefits of Picture Hanging Rails
Versatility and Flexibility: There are a couple of key advantages to picture hanging rail: they are very versatile. Modular elements made possible by this technology give you total control over your setup. It is easy to realign, add, or remove pieces on demand, and the systems are progressively configurable with your changing art forms and requirements.
Clean and Minimalist Aesthetics: Art hanging systems with picture hanging rails, though, often go for a classic and slick aesthetic, making the artwork a focal point in your home. A subtle design avoids overwhelming users' attention with displays showing watches and hides hardware or mounting mechanisms.
Seamless Gallery-Style Displays: Considering the sense of a professional, gallery-like atmosphere, hanging rails that can simplify the process are a perfect choice. Such systems allow your objects to be hung at certain levels and distances to have that perfect touching point with the eyes of the viewers, resulting in amazing aesthetics.
Exploring Gallery Hanging Systems
In the world of art display, galleries' use of art hang systems has become increasingly popular. These systems provide the needed picture hanging solutions designed for art lovers, art galleries, and museums. Gallery hanging systems frequently offer picture hanging rails as the main components of the whole system, along with other accessories and hardware solutions that emphasize safety and aesthetic appeal.
Finding the Right Picture Hanging Solution
When deciding on which picture hanging rail or gallery hanging system to purchase, you should consider aspects like the weight and size of paintings, the type of style you prefer, and the layout of the area you are working with.
Experts in the field or brands with a fine reputation can be consulted, or you may conduct your research to find the right fit for your picture hanging solution to create that visual effect in your artistic vision.
Embrace Artistic Expression
Be it as a passionate art lover, a gallery owner, or even someone who is just fond of a few decent pieces, not only will picture hanging rails and art hanging systems take your entire display to a new level of sophistication, but they will also give it a tinge of modernism. Celebrate the thrill of choosing your décor and allow your curated space to be the ultimate artistic expression. Take pleasure in the fact that you can be completely flexible in your building design.

Balustrade Trends in Interior and Exterior Design
In the realm of architecture and interior design, it's often the small details that make a monumental difference. One such detail that has gained increasing prominence in recent years is the balustrade. These elegant yet functional components, found in both interior and exterior spaces, serve as more than just barriers or supports – they are design elements that define the character and ambiance of a structure. As design sensibilities continue to evolve and adapt to the changing times, so do balustrades Melbourne trends.
Interior Balustrade Trends
Minimalist Elegance
Minimalist balustrades are all about simplicity and sophistication. These designs typically feature materials like glass and stainless steel. Glass balustrades, for instance, are often frameless or have minimalistic metal supports, providing a clear and unobstructed view. This trend emphasises clean lines and a sense of spaciousness in interior spaces.
Industrial Chic
Industrial-style balustrades draw inspiration from factories and warehouses. They often incorporate raw materials like steel or wrought iron, offering a contrast to more polished interior elements. These balustrades may have exposed welds, visible rivets, and a weathered finish, giving them an authentic industrial look.
Organic and Natural
Wooden balustrades are making a comeback, bringing warmth and a touch of nature to interiors. Designers are experimenting with various wood species, finishes, and shapes to create unique and inviting balustrades. The use of wood can add a rustic or Scandinavian-inspired feel to a space.
Curved and Artistic
Curved and artistic balustrades are custom creations that can become focal points in interior design. These designs often feature intricate patterns, artistic motifs, and creative use of materials. They can be sculptural and are ideal for homeowners and designers looking to make a bold statement.
Exterior Balustrade Trends
Glass Transparency
Glass balustrades are a prominent trend in modern exterior design. They are frequently used for balconies, terraces, and decks to maintain unobstructed views and create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The tempered glass used in these balustrades ensures safety without compromising aesthetics.
Cable Railings
Cable railings are characterised by their sleek and minimalistic appearance. They consist of stainless steel cables stretched horizontally or vertically between posts, providing safety while allowing for optimal visibility and airflow. This trend is particularly popular for contemporary homes with a focus on open spaces and panoramic views.
Mixed Materials
Combining different materials in exterior balustrade design adds depth and character to outdoor spaces. For example, a combination of wood, metal, and glass can create a visually striking and balanced aesthetic. This trend allows homeowners and designers to personalise the look of their outdoor areas.
Greenery Integration
With a growing emphasis on sustainable and green design, some architects are incorporating living plants into exterior balustrades. Green walls or planters integrated into the balustrade system provide natural beauty and can act as privacy screens. This trend enhances the connection between architecture and nature.
In conclusion, balustrade design trends have evolved to meet the demands of modern architecture and interior design. From minimalist elegance and industrial chic to organic and natural aesthetics, there's a wide range of options to choose from for interior balustrades. Meanwhile, exterior balustrade trends emphasise transparency, mixed materials, and even integrating greenery, allowing homeowners and designers to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. These trends reflect the ever-evolving fusion of safety, style, and innovation in the world of balustrade design.

In recent years, the use of horizontal railings in staircases has emerged as a trend that captivates homeowners, architects, and interior designers. Horizontal railing kits introduce a fresh and modern twist to interior design, creating a unique aesthetic that continues to gain popularity.
The Aesthetic Appeal of Horizontal Railings
Horizontal railings, also known as cable railings or flat bar railings, provide a contemporary alternative to traditional vertical balusters and handrails. They are characterized by their sleek and minimalist design, often featuring thin bars or cables running horizontally between posts. This design choice offers several aesthetic advantages:
Openness and Space: Horizontal railings create a sense of openness, visually expanding the space and making it appear larger and more airy. This effect is particularly beneficial in smaller homes or confined spaces.
Clean Lines: The horizontal lines of these railings instill a sense of order and symmetry, which is especially appealing in modern and minimalist design schemes. They contribute to a clean and uncluttered appearance.
Modern Elegance: Horizontal railings exude a modern, sleek look that adds an air of elegance and sophistication to your home. This aesthetic can harmonize with various interior styles, ranging from contemporary to industrial.
Integration into Interior Staircases
Incorporating horizontal railings into your interior staircase involves several key design considerations:
Material Choice: Horizontal railings can be crafted from various materials, including steel, aluminium, glass, or wood. The choice of material should align with the overall design and aesthetic of your home.
Baluster Spacing: The spacing between the horizontal bars or cables is crucial. It must comply with safety codes and, from a design perspective, create a balanced and visually pleasing effect.
Handrail Design: The handrail can be seamlessly integrated into the horizontal railing system or stand out as a contrasting element. You can choose materials that either complement or contrast with the horizontal bars to add visual interest.
Impact on Home Aesthetics
The incorporation of horizontal railing kits in interior staircases can profoundly impact your home's aesthetics:
Modern Sophistication: Horizontal railings can instantly transform a traditional staircase into a contemporary masterpiece. They introduce an element of surprise and flair to your interior, exuding modern sophistication.
Personalization: These railings offer a high degree of customization. You can select materials, finishes, and designs that align with your personal style and the overall look of your home.
Enhanced Resale Value: Homes with unique and aesthetically pleasing features often command higher resale values. Horizontal railings can make your property stand out in a competitive real estate market.
Conclusion
Best Horizontal railing kits have gained popularity among homeowners looking to infuse modern elegance and sophistication into their living spaces. Their clean lines, open design, and customization options make them a versatile addition to various interior styles. Whether you're aiming for a sleek contemporary look or seeking to enhance your home's resale value, horizontal railings offer a compelling solution for elevating your interior design.
