Ok story about my day cause it's the funniest thing that's happened to me in a while

So I went to class in a 'Halloween' outfit, cause my prof promised extra credit for whoever did

It wasn't actually my Halloween costume since I don't exactly have one this year, but I can definitely throw something together for extra credit right, so I went with my default renaissance outfit which was an elf

Class was fine, not a lot of ppl dressed up obv, but after I went to this restaurant at like 2 for lunch, wasn't very busy but I was still in full costume cause why not

I'm sitting for like 5 minutes before these two guys come out of the back right up to me, and both are wearing elf ears

They straight up went "We have those too! Welcome to the resistance!!"

It all happened so fast and was genuinely the most out of pocket thing that could have happened at a Cactus Flower at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I was on that high for like 15 minutes and I caught the staff taking glances at me the rest of the time

So ig I'm part of some weird elven resistance now at my local Mexican restaurant

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
