maybe because i'm invested in and have loved our previous roman/kerry parallels, but my gut reading of roman helping kerry the way he did is because she was the outward manifestation of how he was expecting his grieving would look (and how he was expecting other people were expecting his grieving would look) – crushing, emotional, frantic. i also think when he is startled by the dissonance of someone he considers powerful (because kerry did have a certain power that roman was especially mindful of) breaking down, it sends him into Fix It Mode where he's just trying to make things As Nice As Possible, which could be a further indictment of his discomfort with conflict and/or evidence of having to continually play peacemaker to things and people he feels have power (even if it's residual) over him

Man, it doesn't matter what the medium or fandom is, truly the debate that ruins fandom discussions the fastest is when people try to decide which characters "deserve" what. Especially when it comes to them deciding which characters are evil, how evil they are, and how severe their punishment should be for their evil deeds.
It's really annoying/harmful on multiple levels. For one, morally speaking, the line between "evil, but can repent/compensate for their deeds" and "evil, cannot be redeemed, suffer and die forever" is harder to define than you think, and who has the authority to define it anyways?
But also, fictional stories (especially the better, more nuanced, more mature ones) are rarely ever about "deserving" and don't divide their characters neatly between the "good" and the "evil." Every time I see fans debate about "how evil" a Problematic Fave is, or if Fave 1 is better/worse than Fave 2, all I see is people ruining their own fun and stirring up bad blood between other fans. Why would you add this dichotomy of "deserving" to a FICTIONAL story and start real life beef with people over it? At that point you're getting more invested in your discourse over imagined good/evil binaries than you are invested in watching/reading/consuming the actual story itself.

How I imagine Lestat and Hannibal meeting would go !
Okay so I keep seeing that tweet saying that lestat and Hannibal need to be left alone in a room together because only one would come out alive, but I really need to say that I believe there’s no way either of them would kill the other.
Like… for starters, Hannibal couldn’t kill Lestat anyway. There’s no way that would ever be possible. He’d find him incredibly rude and insufferable and make a mental note to track Lestat down three years later to eat him, but he’d never actually do it. Plus, lestats immortal. And can read minds. He’d know what Hannibal was up to before Hannibal even decided he wanted him dead.
And secondly, Lestat wouldn’t kill Hannibal out of respect and curiosity and a bit of excitement at finding someone as mentally fucked as he is, and the fact that Lestat literally cannot eat him. Like I said, Lestat reads minds, he’d know about what Hannibal gets up to in his free time. He’d know that Hannibal eats people. Dead people. Regularly. Maybe I’m thinking too hard about it, but vampires can’t drink the blood of the dead, so knowing that, wouldn’t it harm a vampire, at least minimally, to drink the blood of someone who often consumes the dead people that vampires can’t eat? Even if it doesn’t harm them, I like to think that Lestat wouldn’t even risk it, cares too much about his health and self preservation to feed off of Hannibal.
I firmly believe they’d both walk out of that room alive. Maybe a few hurt feelings and emotional wounds, maybe they fuck nasty, maybe they emerge besties with a double date planned later that week.

What would Moon do if he found Cosmo left on the stage after hours? The Theatre is right by the Daycare, I think. He'd pick up on something as bright as the stage light being on during his patrols. He probably wouldn't want to get under that but turning it off couldn't be too hard. Tho the visual of tossing things on stage or making terrible puns while Cosmo was a CAPTIVE audience (eeeey) feels like a possible response from Moon. How do they feel about one another? How does Sun?
not quite sure about how cosmo would interact with sun/moon. although moon terrorizing cosmo while he's stuck on stage is a some funny imagery, ngl.
overall, Cosmo avoids them. he doesn't remember being the prototype for the daycare attendant, but there's something about looking at them and almost registering all their similar characteristics that (for lack of a better term) makes his skin crawl.
i'd imagine they all try to get along with one another, and Cosmo could probably hold a conversation with Moon if he were willing, but Sun sets off a lot of red flags in his programming and he does everything possible to avoid him. admittedly not an easy task since the theater is basically an attachment to the daycare.

the funny thing about having a handful of ocs who draw some level of inspiration from a media character, is I tend to lift them out of their original media's genre (like Matija having heavy insp from Viktor from Ar.cane), and they grow and change because I just lifted elements of the character, but if I set the oc back down in the inspiration media's genre, the oc can, on occasion, look like a dramatic mischaracterization of media character

man the player character in this role playing game is lame as hell. they never get into any crazy action they just sniff around the place for the path of least resistance! not to mention how they keep trying to make the "most logical" decision in all of these scenarios; why dont they ever just fuck around and find out for once? what a fucking nerd. hey wait whos that reflected in my monitor

isnt it fucked up how mithrun and his brother look like funhouse mirror versions of thistle and delgal. same eye shapes and everything. the difference was mithrun became dungeon lord because he violently hated his brother back then, but thistle loved his too much
