Extra Notes: 

Itilien is created by Varda eating a Star to become pregnant, so she is made from Varda’s being and Starlight and the Will of Eru. 

Itilien is born blind, and can only see the Stars, the Two Trees of Valinor, and the Silmarils (since they contain the light of the two trees.) 

Itilien is adopted by Manwe immediately upon her birth as he very much falls familialy in love with the little one. 

Itilien is raised by both Varda and Manwe and she spends a lot of her childhood stargazing and watching her mother create constellations and being taught to maintain the stars as well. 

Itilien glows a soft silver since she is made partly from starlight. 

She learns many different skills under the Valar, and spends a lot of time with Nienna and develops very intense compassion and sympathy for other people and creatures and beings. 

Because of her compassion and naivety she develops a relationship with Melkor after his release, though Varda is weary of it, Manwe encourages it. 

Hoping that it helps keep Melkor reformed, so Itilien and Melkor carry on a relationship

Melkor covets Itilien, after being rejected- and intimidated- by Varda and devises a plan to be able to keep her for himself. 

Varda suspects that Melkor has ill intentions for Itilien and secretly hallows her, so any evil that touches her will burn.

The Hallowing is reversible on Itilien, but she doesn't burn Melkor immediately after the Hallowing is done.

During the Darkening of Valinor, Itilien is on the hills closest to the Two Trees where she is then kidnapped by Melkor and taken to Beleriand and eventually to Angband. 

It is then the Hallowing burns Melkor to touch her, but he calls upon Sauron to figure out how to reverse the Hallowing.

“Who’s there?” She asks curiously not recognizing their gait. Pausing with one hand on the wall still, waiting to hear if they’ll answer her.

"I do not bite, well i do but you have no need to fear that i'm not hungry just come through" Valkaraucë said

"I totally am not busy" He lied

"What brings you to my door anyway are you prehaps a little lost" Valkaraucë said pulling the door open and moving his neck upwards

Cala’s navy blue eyes widened and the color rushed to his face as suddenly cleared his throat.

He groaned, a fondness in his tone too - and he rolls his eyes.

“We are supposed to be learning.”

As usual he could not help be stern on the fundamentals of rules and teachings - but at the same time he did not mind the usual lightheartedness Itilien always seemed to bring.

"Are you pregnant?!" For Melkor to find out of his prized possession becomes a mother.

Itilien began to smile widely as she brought a hand down to her slightly protruding stomach. Her head angling towards him and nodding her head.

"Yes I am with child, our child. Would you like to feel?" She asked still with her big smile, as she took tentative steps forward to be closer to him.

"Do tell me little starlight, how are the stars tonight? I can't see them as you know, but you can."

Itilien smiled softly at the sound of Melkors voice meeting her ears, gently she turned her head in his direction.

“Melkor, I am so glad you could join me.” She said warmly, before her head looked up at the starry sky, seeing millions of brilliant little lights despite her blindness.

“They are just as radiant and brilliant as any other time, twinkling and shimmering in shades of silver and gold. And I see several constellations of Nahar, Throndor and even Ossë.” She mused to him in fascination before her head came back down and gently she patted the spot next to her.

“Will you sit with me?”

Itilien spent time studying under Nienna in her early youth, so she is very compassionate and empathetic. She cries easily- if she’s very confused, upset, angry, and sometimes happy.

👻- Itilien believes in ghosts! But she has not had much experience with them before. Though she is certain that’ll change in Angband.

🍩- Itilien really really really likes the coastal teleri baklava. It’s sweet and nutty and so flaky, she loves it.

💐- Itilien’s bouquet would have moonflower, lilies, gardenia, and gladiolus. Not sure about the meanings of the flowers but they’re all night/evening blooming flowers.

🌙- her greatest wish is to be able to follow in her mothers footsteps, creating new stars and constellations.

☀️- Itilien is not a morning person, her circadian rhythm is backwards actually. Night time is her morning, she likes to spend that time looking at the stars as she readies to aid her mother or the other star gazers and charters of Valinor.

🙊- Hmmm I’m not entirely sure, Itilien is not confrontational. I suppose speaking about the wrong doings towards the Quendi? She does love them very much.

🍧- She has a bracelet from childhood, when you open it turns into a sphere with star charts etched into them. It was one of her first big girl gifts from Manwë and she wears it constantly into adulthood
