hey guys, long time no kinn & porsche fic rec list! i miss these two so much it’s not even remotely funny. as always, this list is ordered according to length (from longest to shortest), and each fic is by a different author (to share the love)! all fics that are not yet complete have been marked with (wip). lastly, make sure to read the tags, and show the authors some love! god bless y’all for my daily allotment of serotonin. It’s Pete who explains, the next morning over breakfast, because of course the news has spread all over the compound. “Haven’t you ever watched a mob movie?” He asks Porsche, gesticulating with a spoon. “They have all the money they could ever need, but they can never get respectability. The old-money types look down on them. The new-money types take their bribes, but they don’t let them into the inner circle. This is public relations.”

“A kinder, gentler mob?” Porsche laughs. “Come on.”

“They’ll use it to look nonthreatening, highlight the legitimate businesses, that sort of thing,” Pete says. He lowers his voice. “Everyone knows the Theerapanyakuls are dirty, but if they’re on television, how dirty can they be, right? And… I don’t know, but Khun Korn is strange about Khun Kinn’s love life. Maybe he’s trying to keep him in line somehow.”

“I’m not sure how a lowly human like you called me, but here I am,” His voice is deep, but not gruff or harsh like he was expecting. Porsche doesn’t have many preconceptions about demons as a whole, but everything he holds is being completely turned upside down and thrown out the window.

“Who are you?” Porsche croaks out, somehow finding his voice.

The demon’s eyes sharpen as he speaks, the slitted black pupils contracting and opening again like a cat’s. It’s just as fascinating as it is unnerving.

“You’re the one that called my name,” He shrugs, gesturing around the room flippantly.

“Anakinn,” Porsche says, the name rolling off his tongue smoothly. “You’re Anakinn.”

Ever since stepping into power, Kinn has been suspicious of the Russians—led by Mikhail Alexeyev—operating in Bangkok, suspecting them of stealing from him. He sends Kim to investigate, and the truth turns out to be much worse than his initial fears. He resolves to destroy them, even at the risk of all out war; he can do no less if he wants to avoid appearing weak.

It starts with reconnaissance at Alexeyev’s party, an event promising a ‘grand spectacle.’ Kinn is expecting something appropriately depraved, suitable for the Russian mobster and his tastes, but nothing could have prepared him for the reality of what Alexeyev has been hiding. Nothing could have prepared him for the way it will change his life forever.

Because fairy tales aren’t real.

Until they are.

“Want a refill?” Porsche proposes, waving his hand at the almost empty tumbler while he slowly starts approaching the couch. He feels awkward just standing there. The two guys in black suits tense up, but make no move to stop him. Not giving his unwelcome guest time to answer, he adds, “I’ll do you one better, I make a mean cocktail. How about I make you one?”

“Such a kind host,” the man muses, titling his head as he observes Porsche. “Do your best, little thief.”

The water has saturated Porsche’s white shirt completely, soaking through the vest beneath. The translucent material clings obscenely to the swell of his pecs. Porsche’s head jerks up to check if he can still hide them from Kinn, but it’s already too late. Kinn is standing across the room, staring in Porsche’s direction, entire body coiled tight like a spring.

So. I think as a fandom we haven't talked about this nearly enough. Actually, I haven't seen it mentioned at all and I want to change that.

It's just a throw away line. The screen writers were probably like, "Hm, we need to make Tankhun say something relevant to the situation as a reason for him wanting to give Pete to Kinn and take Porsche. Ah, yes, a bizarre thing from the past with Macau and Pete, cool, throw that in." What the screenwriters didn't expect, I suppose, is me seeing that line and losing my mind over it. I've been thinking about it for months, it's kind of a problem.

Alright. How is this line significant? Well, it gives us vital information about 1. Pete himself and 2. Pete and Macau's relationship, because it sure af affects it later on, even though we never saw it in the show (we needed more Macau GODDAMMIT.) Ok, so first things first. Pete. I would like everyone to know that this is the second time we get indication that Pete speaks his mind against things he believes are wrong to do. The first is during the mermaid scene in ep 2, the screenshot below showing what Pete said to Tankhun when he ordered him to feed Porsche bread:

Generally, throughout the show, we see glimpses of Pete's opinions being expressed at the Theerapanyakul sons, and while most if not all of those times he gulps them back down, the fact that he said them at all is significant to his character. He's not a pushover. He doesn't just blindly follow orders. He has *opinions* about what he sees and hears and he expresses them. And he's smart enough to not retort when those opinions are not taken seriously, being ignored or when he gets warned about them (a.k.a. the interaction he had with Vegas at the table in ep 4, this moment also lives rent free in my mind, thank you.) Back to Macau, what was even the situation with him that ended up making Tankhun asking Pete to tie him up? Was it just silly Tankhun being silly (that man is never silly, he knows exactly what he's doing)? Was it something serious that involved the whole family? Neither of those? Whatever it was, the most important thing is that Pete said no. And, in headcanon fashion, I believe Macau was present during that moment. Macau saw Pete refuse Tankhun's order, the order of someone from the main family, someone above Macau in status. He saw it and he remembers it to this day, because during the temple scene in ep 9, we get this:

Ok. I'm going a little feral over what my mind has come up with. What we're seeing here is Macau, a member of the minor family, the lesser family, making fun of Tankhun, the oldest son of the main family. The family Pete serves. And all of the people present know this. It's evident - to me at least - by the fact that Vegas says *nothing* about Tankhun. He just says Pete is alone as an answer to Macau's question. So, the conclusion of this is that Macau feels confident and comfortable with sharing his actual opinions about Tankhun to Pete, who's Tankhun's main bodyguard, which both brothers know about. Vegas is also comfortable and confident with allowing Macau to say those things and the reason I'm mentioning him as well is because we all know how protective Vegas is of Macau. If that endangered him in any way, he wouldn't allow it. A reason they're both comfortable, of course, is because Pete is below *everyone* in status. He's literally just a foot soldier, he has no power over them. But the moment he returns to the main family, he has protection against Vegas and his side. He's in his own turf, and Vegas cannot do shit to the main family bodyguards if the main family decides so, as evident by the whole Porsche&Macau situation in ep 2. Now, can we imagine for a hot second, if Pete reported that back to the main family, what would have happened? Probably nothing, I hear you say, and maybe you're correct. But the more suspicious (and angsty) part of me wants to believe that there would be repercussions for this. Tankhun can literally hit Vegas with a fucking tray if he wants to, because he dared eat at the same table as Kinn. He can order Pete to tie Macau up because...something something Macau is a brat I guess. He can do whatever the fuck he wants to them, even if they've done nothing wrong. Can you imagine what he would do if he had actual reasons to punish them? The thought makes me shiver but it's reality and it's evident from ep fucking 2, as mentioned above, when all Porsche gets for making Macau BLEED from the HEAD, is a little choking and a pat on the back. The same goes for Kinn of course. He threatened Vegas with a gun in his OWN FUCKING HOUSE because he kissed Porsche in ep 7. He says the line "Do you see my ring?" and everyone understands what that means. The main family can do whatever the fuck it wants to the minor family and you just have to shut up and accept it. In conclusion, where does that bring us to Macau&Pete post-canon? Well, there's the simple thing called "trust". Yes, Macau will not trust Pete immediately. Yes, I love seeing this in the multiple hospital era fics I've read. But, can I introduce the variable of that event shaping Macau's feelings about Pete to the table? Because holy shit, it's eating away at me and I love it so much to let it be ignored anymore.

KP X DFF AU (Takes place around events of ep 7 DFF and end of Kinnporsche)

(inspired by I re-watched ep6 of DFF and somehow missed that they sing TSICY on their way to Pors house on my first watch)

Somehow Non and Chay run into each other and they look identical. Chay, wanting to have some time away from the mafia he's become apart of, comes up with the idea after hearing Nons story to switch places. Non is reluctant at first but when Chay promises he can help solve Nons problems he agrees (Non doesn't fully trust Chay and leaves out some details like Mr Keng and Phee).

Chay has a Theerapanyakul mafia ring that he uses when the mafia guys come after him to get them to leave him alone, he also has access to mafia money that he tries to use to help Nons family as much as he can without causing suspicion. Chay is disgusted by how Nons 'friends’ treat him but Non had said he wanted to finish his movie so Chay plays along with them for now.

And Then whatever happens causing Non to disappear happens to Chay instead.

Non was told by Chay that if he went to the compound he’d be able to just walk in, he’s nervous but he does and when he’s engulfed in a hug by a stranger he feels a little better. He recognizes the man from a photo Chay had shown him, Porsche, who was worried because Chay disappeared and lost his bodyguards for a few hours.

Chay had told Non that he wasn’t speaking to his brother or anyone else really so if he did nothing but stay in Chays room the whole time he’d be fine and no one would question or really bother him.

Then Non gets a knock on his door, it’s Kim, he was trying to apologize to Chay about his song being stolen and that it wasn't him that released it and he didn’t mean for it to happen.

(Someone on Kims team finds a demo Kim made of Chays song (tsicy) when he was helping Chay record it, and releases it under Wiks name without Kim’s consent. Because Kim hasn’t released any new music since his break up with Chay and his company wants new music from him.)

Non feels bad about how distraught Kim sounds, and lets him in. Kim hadn’t expected for Chay to actually let him in, it’s been a month since Kim had been this close to Chay and so the first thing he does on impulse is hugs him. Non, currently still processing the worst week of his life, doesn’t push Kim away causing Kim to kiss him.

Anyway Kim somehow finds out that it wasn’t Chay who forgave him and that Non isn't Chay and demands Non tell him where Chay actually is and when they show back up everyone is confused (because they killed him like 3 weeks ago or something) and is like WTF?! But when Non just acts like nothing happened they don’t bring it up, and so now Non and Kim have to figure out what happened to Chay.

It’s a knife wound, scored shallow but long down from his collarbone towards Porsche’s nipple, which is certainly in Kinn’s top ten parts of Porsche’s body and probably top five, and not to be endangered under any circumstances. Porsche had tried to treat it himself and Kinn had dragged him to the medical wing and supervised the stitches and the bandaging himself, mentally cursing out the minor family’s men for a crowd of incompetents the whole time. “Deng. When Kinn is dosed with a strange drug, Porsche steps up to help.

The Chay Rewatch ep 7

Ep 7 - Of course this is how Kim falls in love

Time: 16:27 -17:27 – Macau Spotting!

Macau’s Outfit: he is literally wearing the same school uniform as Chay. This could have opened so many plotlines, especially if the show wanted to place Chay in a love triangle mirroring Porsche’s.

Macau looks so bored at the table until Vegas shows up, and Vegas looks so excited to see him! I know this whole scene is an act put on by the minor family to lure Porsche away, but that’s the one time we see Vegas’ true feelings. He’s genuinely so happy to see his little brother. Macau, in turn, is so happy to see him because no one else was acknowledging him. Though the second Porsche sits next to him and he sees the act Vegas is putting on, he's over it.

I do wonder if Porsche clocked Macau’s uniform and wondered if this was a threat against his brother. Probably not, love Porsche, but Porchay definitely took most of the puzzle-solving abilities (I’m not calling it smarts because it's not. It’s the ability to connect dots, and Porsche is canonically incapable of doing that)

A tiny microscope like one from a child’s play science set. Was this Porchay’s as a kid or Porsche’s? Those sets aren’t exactly cheap, and I don’t think Porsche could have afforded one when they were kids. Which means it could be something their parents bought for Porsche. Interesting.

This is the first episode to show both Macau and Chay

Do you all think it’s a genetic trait for Theerapanyakul boys to show up unannounced at the Kittisawat house to bamboozle the person they’re obsessively in love with? Kinn did it, Kim did it, and Korn (& Gun) did it

Chay’s outfit: a pale blue/purple (Depending on the light I couldn’t really tell) shirt with the word Vendredi on it and cream-colored shorts. Vendredi is French for Friday, and I honestly don’t think it has anything to do with the scene outside of the color looking cute. His hair is also extra fluffy in this scene.

The absolute panic Porchay goes through when he sees how messy the house is, I felt that

Kim just going Oh, but I’m already here. Why don’t you let me help with that problem? With his little bitchy lean (I love him) as he watches Chay THROUGH THE OPEN WINDOW

Chay’s little wave! Baby boy he just saw you panic cleaning and lying about it! You can’t dissolve that embarrassment by being cute!

Kim’s outfit: a muddy olive green shirt with leather pants and the usual silver accessories. This is the first time we see his safety pin necklace though I’m pretty sure.

Macau gets to be slightly evil and manipulative without judgment, as a treat

The way Porsche should have one hundred percent said oh my brother goes to your school; it would be so in character for him to just blurt that out here. He still finds Vegas marginally trustworthy, and it’s the kind of segue that Porsche would think of.

Time: 23:29 - 31:31 - Chay please clean your house

You can see the freakout Chay is having in his eyes. Also, the way he is clutching his dirty laundry because he was so panicked he forgot to put it down before scampering to let Kim in.

The matter-of-fact way Chay talks about his parents’ death. He’s not broken by it the same way Porsche is because he doesn’t remember them. And I’m not saying that’s bad! It's just a detail that strikes me. Chay grieves the idea of parents while Porsche grieves the real people. Chay’s also gotten through it in a way I doubt Porsche ever could.

Kim actually has a flicker of emotion on his face just before he says sorry. He knows what it's like to lose a parent (because his mom is def dead, Korn wouldn’t allow a divorce)

This whole ep is full of manipulative gift-giving. Vegas with the bike and Kim with the guitar. Kim impatiently cuts off Chay’s refusal so he can go snoop. At least allow Chay to be grateful before you go searching Kim!

Okay the more I look at this shirt the more purple it seems to me, am I the only one?

Chay’s little thank you and the jump! The panic he goes through when he remembers his Wik shrine!

The interest growing in Kim’s eyes as Chay frantically guards his bedroom. Internally happy screaming because he’s gonna find a clue! (Sike! You catch feelings instead)

How the hell have Porsche and Chay afforded their big house? No joke, that place is huge for two orphans

Kim, getting food after a tutoring session can be considered a date. Please be aware of that when you are thinking of ways to get the kid with an obvious crush on you out of the house. I adore the cute manipulative scrunched up face he makes though

Chay, please stop swinging your brand-new guitar around! You are giving me anxiety!

The switch from Wik to Kim is so subtle but so real. Jeff is such a great actor

Chay really likes collages, he has a few in his room (yes I’m counting the Wik Shrine) very art kid of him

Are those baseball helmets on top of his bookshelf? He also has another hourglass and a pic of his parents alongside a ton of trophies

Not Kim literally falling for Chay only after seeing his stalker shrine, bro get off of the floor! This is freak for freak behavior Kim!

The music in this scene kills me because it's so dramatic and meant to invoke horror at seeing this insane stalker side of Chay, but then the music shifts to WDYS and the camera turns to Kim and he’s literally bashfully smiling! He’s practically kicking his feet going he likes me!

Kim saying thank you in his suddenly deep ass voice, the seduction of Chay has begun I see

“I’ll let you try writing a love song.” – Yeah so he can serenade you

“Don’t tell me you’ve never been in love?” “Do you like anyone?” – Chay 100% sees Kim’s intentions with that one and runs with it. Kim, you opened a door, and now Chay is in your house, he's redecorating

The head pat – once again hate to see others living your dream!!

I could write a billion words about the facial expressions in this scene but Tumblr has character limits. Kim is just so soft staring at Chay now while Chay has this knowing look on his face

Overall Chay Rating (Chrating): A+

This episode was so good on the Chay content even though we only got one Chay outfit. Chay’s genuinely a really happy kid (which often gets mistaken for naivety), and it's really nice seeing him so happy. Kim falling for him was inevitable because they are Freak for Freak, and it's so in character for Kim to actually develop feelings after seeing the stalker board. We even got to see Macau twice in this episode, so not only was this a great Chay ep but also a great little bro ep

KINNPORSCHE BODYSWAP AU ||

AU where kinnporsche are sons of two of Thailand's most affluent families!! The Theerapanyakuls are old rich but recently struggling -- they've got a good name but their business isn't as flourishing as it once was and it's steadily shrinking. On the other hand, the Kittisawats are new rich. They made it big in the software industry just a decade ago and now they're easily one of the richest families in the country.

Kinn and Porsche are both next in line to inherit their respective businesses but the way they were raised are night and day. Kinn was raised under Korn's iron hand and he's a middle child to top it all off. Meanwhile Porsche is smart but generally unserious -- he's outgoing and a free spirit!

They grew up as rivals. Porsche has gone out of his way to tease Kinn ever since they were little. Kinn is one of the few people that can get Porsche to take things seriously -- mostly because Porsche likes competing with Kinn and trying to see if he can ruin Kinn's day by winning.

Anyway Something Happens™ (idk what, let's say the gay stars align for now) and they end up switching bodies with no way of switching back.

This is a problem because Kinn's engaged to be married in a week and there is no fucking way Porsche is sleeping with Kinn's blander-than-hotel-wallpaper fiance. He's adamant about it and he doesn't understand how Kinn could throw his whole life away for a business.

Kinn honestly didn't like his fiance as well but Korn had been breathing down his neck about getting married for the sake of expanding the business for literal years now. And his fiance was from a really good background. If he breaks off the engagement, especially this late in the game, he'll disgrace the family name. He tells Porsche as much.

That's when Porsche gets the idea.

Since they're in each other's bodies, Porsche can just break the engagement off as Kinn. He thinks that if he delivers an impassioned speech standing up for himself (well, for Kinn technically), Korn will eventually have to understand.

After all, Porsche knew he had a way with words. What could go wrong?

A lot, apparently.

Porsche does as planned during Kinn's engagement party and Korn is livid. He's never seen the man turn that shade of red before. Korn is a breath away from publicly disowning Kinn until the real Kinn takes Porsche's hand and apologizes for not being brave enough to do the right thing.

Suddenly, Porsche catches himself looking at Kinn. He's grateful they can see each other for who they truly are because it would be weird if Porsche looked at Kinn and instead saw himself right now.

Because Kinn is making up a story about how he and Porsche have been secretly dating on and off for years and throughout Kinn's engagement. And he's being loud about it. People are staring. In fact, Porsche is sure the only reason no one is doing anything is because the story is, well, it's juicy.

"Please believe me when I say it's all my fault for being a coward," Kinn says in a tone that has everyone hanging onto his every word. He turns to Porsche, and then he gets on one knee. "Kinn, I'm sorry for taking so long to realize that you're the person I've been waiting for all my life. You're the one who loves me, and I'm the one who loves you most. Will you marry me?"

Porsche wonders how the fuck Kinn came up with all this shit on the spot.

Because it's genius.

The Kittisawats were currently the third richest family in Thailand. Korn would be a fool to force his son to go through with his existing engagement now. Not to mention, the press would eat the whole romance angle up. And being engaged would give Kinn and Porsche the chance to cover for each other while they figure out how the fuck they can go back to their own bodies.

God, Kinn was brilliant. Porsche could kiss him.

Porsche blinks. Actually, that wasn't a bad idea at all. Everyone was watching. The better they sold this lie, the more time they'd get to fix things.

Throwing all caution to the wind, Porsche kneels so that he and Kinn are eye-to-eye. A relieved smile breaks through his face as he loops his arms around Kinn's shoulders.

"Yes," Porsche whispers before he seals their lips together.

If his heart skips a few beats, that's only because he's never been into public displays of affection.

Here is little snippet of the Theerapanyakuls vampire AU I tried to have finished by Halloween. Alas, I lost steam and it will have to wait until after nanowrimo.

As soon as the lovely-eyed boy is a safe distance away from him, Kim takes a deep breath in, allowing himself the luxury of his sense of smell once again. Kim knows he’s attractive to humans, but the boy had been far too prone to blushing. The warmth and sweet scent of him almost had Kim’s teeth popping—an embarrassing problem Kim hasn’t had an occurrence of in decades.

Just in case he runs into him again soon, Kim drains two drug dealers and a pimp before going in search of Kinn.

Kim gives the compound a disgusted look—the ostentatious skyscraper lighting up the night sky. For creatures of the dark, his family sure cleaved to their artificial light. He normally avoided the building at all costs, but knew if he were to find the lovely boy’s brother as promised, and possibly save him from a terrible fate, he was exactly where he needed to be.

Unless, of course, it was already too late. He had been in the presence of Kinn the last time Kim had seen him, so that was not only a possibility, but a likelihood.

His brother Kinn, much like the other members of the family, hunted anywhere and killed indiscriminately. No part of the city was out of bounds, no human off limits. Tankhun, of course, had special feeders that stayed with him inside the residence at all times. He’d had the same two for several years now. The longest stretch where he hadn’t accidentally—or not so accidentally—killed one by getting overzealous while drinking from them. The only feeder he’d lost in almost a decade hadn’t been killed. Well, hadn’t been killed in the traditional sense. Instead he’d been turned by their cousin Vegas. An insult Tankhun hasn’t stopped ranting about in all the years since.

Kim was different. Kim liked to hunt among the dregs of society—drug dealers, perverts, abusers, murderers. He revelled in their fear, the light leaving their eyes. He made sure they knew they brought their grisly deaths upon themselves. They deserved every second of pain as they thrashed and drowned in their own blood, their throats ripped open and their very essence stolen away.

They were creatures not unlike he was. Ah, if only there was an even bigger fish. Someone who could swim in and show Kim the same fate, the same awful, deserved end.

kimchay x love stage!! au

(based off the manga but apparently there's a Thai drama too?)

The Kittisawat parents are alive and well; Nampheung is a model-turned-actress, Pat is a fashion designer, they met at a red carpet event, fell in love, and have two kids: Porsche and Porchay. Porsche is an actor who mostly does action movies but wants to branch out into other genres to gain more exposure and versatility. Chay isn't part of the industry, he's a 1st year college student studying culinary arts. Can he cook? God, no. But no one has the balls to say it to his face (Porsche loves his nong so much he gaslit himself into liking his cooking, even when he gets nauseous after)

The Theerapanyakuls are a famous entertainment family, basically a more talented Thai version of the Kardashians: Korn owns the Theerapanyakul Entertainment Company (TEC) which has the most popular Thai actors and idols signed; Tankhun was a runway model but after a really nasty stalker situation, he retired from modeling and is now an agoraphobic fashion designer; Kinn is President of TEC but mostly runs the acting division, he knows he's going to take over as CEO once Korn steps down; Kim was a child actor and currenly a faceless, independent artist called WIK, who refuses to be signed under TEC but helps run the idol division as a project manager for various artists

(Vegas is the finance executive for TEC, Macau is an actor who keeps getting into scandals, Pete is Kinn's assistant and acts as liason to the actors, Arm is the IT director, Pol is the overworked assistant to Tankhun, Big was Kinn's old assistant but got transferred to Kim's department, Ken is head of training for the idols, Chan runs security, and the other bodyguards have miscellaneous jobs in the company. Gun is the chief financial officer but wants to be CEO)

Basically, 10 yrs ago Nampheung and Pat did a commercial for a wedding planning company and the child actress that was supposed to catch the bouquet at the end had to cancel last minute, and 8 yr old Chay (who was on set to support his parents) was the same height and weight as the actress so he acted in her place

Child actor Kim starred alongside child Chay, and he noticed that Chay was really nervous about being in front of the cameras so Kim gave him a good luck charm to help his nerves, and then developed the cutest crush on him after seeing Chay smile (thinking that Chay was a girl)

Even tho he hated acting, Kim continued being a child actor in hopes of meeting Chay again but gave up when he was 16, so he quit acting and becameWIK (and if a lot of his songs were about a childhood love and the one that got away, then he'll say its just a coincidence)

Fast forward, like, 10 years and the same wedding company wants to do a sequel to the first commercial to celebrate their 10 yr anniversary with the original actors, and they want Kim and Chay to reprise their roles except this time they're the ones getting married; the problem is that no one knows who the mysterious "girl" that caught the bouquet is (except the Kittisawats, of course, but they haven't told anyone the truth because it never came up)

uhhhh Korn wants Kim to do the commercial to try and get him to act again since Kim doesn't want WIK to face reveal and have ppl link his newfound fame to the Theerapanyakul name, Kim will only agree to do the commercial if the same cast is there (meaning: Chay) because he doesn't think it'll happen. Nampheung and Pat are excited to reshoot the commercial, but Chay doesn't want to act, thinking he'll be horrible, and initially refuses. He ends up agreeing when Porsche promises to get him tickets to his favorite artist, WIK's, next concert. you know where I'm going with this-

okay so we're following the love stage plot briefly: Chay agrees, he wears a wig and a wedding dress and Kim, who sees him for the first time in 10 years, falls in love all over again, Chay is nervous about acting again (and acting as a girl, since he's no longer a little kid so its weirder now) but he still has Kim's lucky charm from 10 years ago and Kim thinks its cute how Chay hasn't changed much from back then, and then he's blown away by Chay's acting skills (the commercial has, like, a little skit where Chay cries because he's nervous about the wedding and his mom, Nampheung, comforts him and then later cries because he's so happy when he sees the groom's (Kim) face)

Porsche is on set to support his precious little brother (and if he happens to meet Kinn, the President of TEC, who also happens to be on set to support his little brother, well...) and after the shooting finishes and the brothers are in the dressing room, he accidentally exposes that Chay is a boy in front of Kim (somehow? idk maybe he barges into the dressing room or something?)

ummmm stuff happens I haven't thought it through but Kim thinks that since Chay is a boy he'll lose interest in his 10 yr long crush but he ends up getting distracted at work thinking about Chay. He stealthily uses his Theerapanyakul Connections to get information about Chay (is it really kimchay if there's no stalking involved?), finds out he's related to the Kittisawats but isn't in the industry, and is just a normal student. That only makes him even more intrigued because Chay showed such raw talent during the filming so he convinces Kinn to reach out to the Kittisawats and ask if Chay would be interested in some film roles, but Chay refuses to be part of the industry so his family declines.

Kimlock Holmes is activated so he heads to the Kittisawat home for a visit to spy on Chay meet the Kittisawats formally, but for plot reasons the parents have to go to some kind of event and invites Kim to stay and wait for Chay to come back home to entertain him; Kim immediately searches the house and breaks into Chay's room and finds a shrine of every single promotional picture and album cover relating to WIK and somehow his crush only grows bigger? knowing that Chay is a genuine fan of his music

Chay comes home from cooking club to Kim sitting in his living room, and Kim skips imtroductions and proposes a deal: Chay come work with Kim on another acting gig (thinking that acting with Chay again will scratch his itch and he'll get over his crush, and it'll be his last acting job ever) and Kim will introduce him to WIK; Chay agrees only because WIK is his idol, and he's confident that he'll do such a bad job that Kim will leave him alone for good

kinnporsche side plot: after meeting Porsche at the wedding commercial shoot, Kinn watches every single movie and show Porsche has ever been in and becomes his number one fan. After failing to get Chay to agree to another filming stunt, he reaches out to Porsche specifically to flirt talk about Chay's decision to not follow his family's footsteps, and it turns into Kinn asking Porsche about his career and what he wants to do for the rest of his life

Kinn essentially asks Porsche to act for him, meaning that he'll manage Porsche's career and get him more acting gigs in different genres to break him out of that "action actor" mold; Porsche is suspicious since he's getting more out of this agreement than Kinn is, but he finally does agree. Kinn gets Porsche more roles, Porsche lets Kinn manage almost every aspect of his career, and somewhere along the way they start sleeping together, and then fall in love

idk what vegaspete are doing but they're doing better than the other couples

i haven't figured out if kimchay's acting gig is a music video for an idol Kim manages or a bl short film with them as the leads or something else, but its something that causes them to be close in proximity, Chay gets to showcase impressive acting skills, and Kim becomes whipped for Chay's earnest personality. He realizes that he doesn't want Chay to leave the industry or him, so he keeps dangling the fact that he knows WIK and can get Chay a meet and greet while convincing Chay to do more and more acting stuff

Korn notices that both his two younger sons have a Kittisawat sibling as their current obsessions so, hoping to tie Kim permanently to TEC and have him act again and hoping to keep Kinn as his heir to then company, Korn proposes a contract to the Kittisawat parents without their kids knowing, giving them TEC shares if and only if their Porsche and Chay agree to sign under TEC officially

(to clarify, Kinn has been managing Porsche but doing it off table, using TEC resources without Porsche being signed under the company. So Porsche is still an independent actor. Same thing with Kim and Chay.)

idk if i'll write this as an actual fic or keep it as an idea, but if anyone wants to use any part of this idea (or every part) for themselves and write their own fic, go ahead

(also idk how this happens but Kim finds out about Chay’s secret passion for music and realizes that he's wasted as an actor and should be an idol instead. and after Chay finds out that Kim is WIK, somehow, after a brief period of being upset that Kim has been lying to him, he and WIK record a duet together and the song becomes a huge success)

Also Gun is still trying to usurp Korn's position in the company and trying to get Vegas to replace Kinn's role, so all that's happening at the same time

BL Fight Club: Because if I can’t ship ‘em, I want ‘em to fight

Let’s have a gangland rumble!

What was I thinking? Why didn’t I put these two against each other sooner? I already have their partners in a battle, read that one! My friend Lolly made this suggestion and I just rewatched KP on New Years and binged H3T again this past weekend to get the ultimate fair fight. Let’s get it on!

Kinn Theerapanyakul (KinnPorsche) vs Tang Yi (History 3: Trapped)

Kinn Theerapanyakul is a mid to late 20’s acting head of a mafia family in Thailand

Tang Yi is a 29 year old head of a mafia family in Taiwan

Both of these guys have IT. ALL. Team of body guards working for them? Check. Torture room for their captured enemies in their homes? Check. Great hair? Double check. Initially unwilling partners that become absolutely whipped for their men? Duh. Suits that fit them so well it should be illegal. Swoon. Do both couples spend time in the forest handcuffed to each other falling more madly in love? Tee-hee. The similarities that Kinn and Tang Yi have are pretty endless.

But the differences are glaring. Tang Yi feels such a devotion to the men working for him he is willing to do anything to make the gang go legitimate to give them a chance at a normal life. Kinn doesn’t care so much about his bodyguards tho….why didn’t any of them have bullet proof vests? RIP Big. No one person is bigger than Kinn and in turn his father Korn. Tang Yi’s adopted father sacrificed himself for the gang, even his birth father did 28 years in prison to advance the mission of the gang. They are one of the most selfless mafia families I have ever seen!

Kinn and Tang Yi both don’t have a problem getting their hands dirty. Tang Yi will put those brass knuckles on and eff people up bad. But he isn’t going to do the dirty wet work himself, he leaves that to Jack which does make him lose points. Kinn DGAF. He point blank killed two of his subordinates in front of his others no flinching. Kinn is not wrestling with the thoughts of going legal because doing morally wrong or grey things don’t give him pause like they would Tang Yi.

This small advantage will put our winner over the top.

Winner: Kinn

Kim Theerapanyakul’s Portrait Board

So... I’ve been really looking at Kim’s hidden investigation board, hidden behind a large arse painting of himself (I mean Jeff Satur’s beautiful face and jawline alone are an artwork all to themselves but, yes). I call it an investigation board, others have been calling it a kill board, or a murder board as well as a couple of other names that I can’t really remember but yes, we all know I’m talking about this board:

His placements of Porsche and Porsché are on the outskirts of this web that he’s drawn up, because at the moment, while Kim is an enigma to us, Porsche is an enigma to Kim. He doesn’t really have a good clue on how Porsche fits into all that’s happening so he places the picture of Porsche, alongside his younger brother Porsché, on the outskirts, unconnected to all the red-string chaos to the bottom left of their images.

He knows that Porsche is a key piece to all the things that have been happening but he hasn’t narrowed down that Porsche is actually the source of the problems. And I don’t mean that by saying that Porsche is the cause, because, obviously he isn’t. Porsche isn’t innocent to this world, he’s a little aware of what mafia types are like somewhat, but he hasn’t been moulded to have the mannerisms and behaviour like the other people in it. But, a lot of people have noticed that Porsche is a new playing card on the table because he is so different and contrasts so damn much from the other bodyguards Kinn and Papa Korn usually hire for the Theerapanyakul family. And with this, Kinn’s enemies will notice or perhaps already have, (😑looking at you, bastard Vegas) that Porsche maybe the one person that will cause them a challenge in getting to Kinn.

Papa Korn knows this, he also knows what Porsche is capable of and has even named Porsche the Queen on his chessboard. I have another post talking about the significance of Papa Korn’s choice of who the Queen on his beloved chessboard is, so I won’t go into too much detail here.

But, what I did notice that really stuck out to me was the other people along the board.

The person on the bottom right with a red X over the picture is actually someone we’ve already met before.

He is this guy from episode 1:

I think the red cross over his picture means eliminated or perhaps just dead.

There is also someone else on Kim’s board that we have seen before, from the same episode as the first guy:

This guy is this guy:

The drooped posture of the eyes, as well as the eyebrow shapes, including the space between his eyebrows and his hairline, they match. But what is interesting is that gelato-joke-man’s (I don’t know what else to call him) face on Kim’s board has a small banner labelled “Fraud”.

Another thing I noticed as well whilst re-watching Ep1 is that with gelato-joke-guy, we only really get an actual good look at his face, like close-up and over-the-shoulder shots, through a reflection in a mirror or the glass in the door Kinn walks through. Other shots of him are from a distance where we only see his side profile from a far angle and his face isn’t clear for us to see. The only time we actually do see his face close up, without the aid of a reflection, is when Kinn says that great iconic line “People say, I’m more like my mum,” and then shoots the guy with the glasses. And then the camera pans upwards to show gelato-joke-guy properly. Could the choice of those shots and camera angles be symbolic to how fraudulent gelato-joke-guy is? And Kim’s cracked it, filing him away to being one of the frauds on the board but also a huge piece to the trouble-puzzle? Quite possibly.

And the fact that we saw this guy within the first minute of the first episode really tells us something.

Anyway, moving on.

The only other face on this board that has “Fraud” pinned onto it is this guy:

And whoever that is, they are connected to Papa Korn and Kan with thin black tape. The same black tape used to connect these two faces to Korn and Kan:

This black tape is connected to Papa Korn, then directly down to his three sons: Tankhun, Kinn and Kim, which is also connected to Kan, then directly down to his two sons: Vegas and Macau. My guess is that those two people above Korn and Kan may be their parents, but they might not be, it’s just my guess. Also, notice how Papa Korn’s wife, aka, Mama Theerapanyakul, isn’t on this board? If she did die (cries), then did she pass when Kim was only a baby and he wasn’t able to get a hold of a picture of her? I don’t know, again, I’m just guessing.

Going by the setting and quality of the pictures on the left of the board, it could be that they actually are Theerapanyakul relatives. And with this placement of the different colours, I’m guessing Kim has chosen Black Tape to represent Family or blood line, and then Red Tape to represent suspicious characters.

Anyway, back to gelato-joke-guy, he has red tape connected to the entire Theerapanyakul family, directly to both Papa Korn and Kan, as well as all those people along the bottom of the board, connected simultaneously to the same direct line of tape. Gelato-joke-guy is kind of positioned bottom centre of both the board and the red tape. As well as the red strings connecting his face to those two English articles.

You can also see that Vegas has a red string connecting him to one of the pictures on the bottom right of the board. I’m not too sure what the picture is but the fact that Vegas, alongside the guy that is beside but a little above him, are connected to the same image is really peculiar. What’s the connection there, I wonder?

Kim has probably been researching in such depth, and, I don’t know if anyone agrees, but I believe Kim’s doing this for Kinn. Kim maybe away from the main house, but that might actually give him more freedom to do this research. Maybe Kim doesn’t trust the people that work there either, like Kinn doesn’t 100%. Kim has laid out an entire spiderweb of connections, the people that Kinn has met with, the people that we may later see in future episodes could be on this board. And now with the new addition of Porsche into the mix, he has something else to dig into.

Though saying that, I won’t be too happy if Kim tries to use Porschay in some way to either get to Porsche or get information about Porsche from Porschay, because the sweet baby hasn’t got the faintest idea what has been going on with his older brother, who Porschay believes is working in a bar somewhere that doesn’t have phone service or internet. I have no idea what Kim was like in the book as I haven’t read the novel, but I hope he doesn’t hurt Porschay, because if he does, I think Kim will have to face a very angry Porsche but, *sighs* we’ll have to wait and see.

But, the time and effort that drawing all of this together must have taken Kim, as well as connecting all of the pieces together; it must have taken ages. Kim cares for his family and I think he’s hoping to find something that they can use in order to take down at least some of the people that are trying to kill his older brother.

I do wonder what Ep5 will bring us, especially with KimPorschay being in the preview this time, 😖😖😖The anticipation is killing me.
