HAIKYUU!! SPOILERS: The Light Novel, Volume 13

Also Known As: “Furudate Feeds Us All”

As soon as I heard they were releasing Volume 45 of the manga, the Guidebook, and the 13th Light Novel, I splurged and ordered all three (Merry Early Christmas to meeeee) -- but I had no clue what the cover of the Light Novel would look like.

Then it drops today and GOOD LORD:

Can we revel in this glorious feast Furudate has given us?

* Hoshiumi probably bragging about being picked for the Olympic team first

* Bokuto probably cementing that he’s the MOST NORMAL ace of the squad

* Kageyama and Ushijima just worried about food

* Kageyama probably talking about his commercials selling curry but he’d rather be advertising for onigiri -- get on that, Osamu!

* Ushijima probably talking about his favorite dish that Tendo probably makes for him when he visits him

* Sakusa not really caring about the interview, but also probably overhearing Kageyama’s “personal maintenance” routine and wondering how he can fit it into his own agenda

* Atsumu and Oikawa meeting FINALLY

* Atsumu’s continuation of his shoulder lean on Hinata, probably all, “Remember how we were teammates, Shoyo?”

* Oikawa being the beautiful King he is, probably all, “Remember Rio, Shoyo? REMEMBER RIO, SHOYO?!”

* Shoyo, oblivious, just focusing on the interview and joining in with Bokuto and Hoshiumi

Oh, did I mention?

THE ATSUHINA, OIHINA, ATSUOIHINA SUPREMACY?!

*faints*

Apparently the manga is all about interviewing the “Monster Generation” before the Olympics -- which is seriously a dream come true for this fangirl. I just...I can’t...Furudate, you beautiful human. You SPOIL US.

So ready to get this in November!

Hi, I absolutely love your translation and this blog. I'm unsure if you will see this or if you take recommendations but I would really love it if you could translate more bottom kageyama content and some more tsukishima x kageyama and kageyama x ushijima content. Those are always so hard to come by and its even harder to find english translations.

Suggestions are always welcome!! Indecision can sometimes be mended by a little nudge, so these are very appreciated.

There will be some Tsukikage as part of the ECG collection, which should be done for release next month, so stay tuned for that. Other works with the two have also been considered for the future. Ushikage (or Kageushi (now that would be NICE)) is, alas, extremely rare and there is currently nothing planned for them.

But what can always be guaranteed here ー "More bottom Kagayama, please?" "Yes."
