hi casino do you think c!sapnap and c!karl both remembered c!karl's death to tnt when they heard las nevadas explode? c!sapnap would be clutching his sword underneath his pillow, silently begging that c!dream wasn't involved - that his friend, past friend, hadn't hurt someone again, that c!quackity somehow made it out alive, and promising this fate would never happen to kinoko - or c!karl again. and c!karl would be remembering the hissing tnt before it went off, planted there by c!quackity, he remembers this, it was c!quackity's plan. and now he would have the same hissing noises haunt him, maybe that was also good.

how are you after the stream by the way

sapnap thinking about el rapids and lmanburg and their plan (that stupid fucking plan). all of it loud, too god damn loud. and he stayed still. he had a job to do and he was gonna do it. if the explosions (dream, he knows it has to be dream) made it to kinoko he would have to finally put an end to everything then and there, on some random september night.

karl figures its just quackity and his love for tnt. maybe he got another poor soul killed. hell, maybe it was foolish! (that'll put his head on straight. now he can just move to kinoko instead of being coy.) the stars along his wrists and neck sting a bit with each boom but he brushes it off. that was in the past and if he's going to focus on the past, its going to be someone else's. not his. maybe XD will send him somewhere nice and quiet next time. somewhere he can forget quackity.

Helgi! Do you or any of your family members have standards for your captives? Do any of you guys specifically go after "rare" beings? So you guys have "collections" with themes? Or all they all like you, just grabbing whoever seems easiest so you won't have to do any actual work?

Helgi takes a moment to think, seeming to take no offense that the last question. "Sterling specifically looks for tall people, they like to be able hide behind them. They also like religious people but that's not a requirement for their captives. I believe their current one actually has never said a prayer in his life until he became their's."

"Kaisa has quite the collection of captives, she's trying to figure out what beings make the best ones for her. I had my bets on werewolves, but it turns out they're too competitive for her. Her current favorite is this one centaur she found. I'm sure there's some sort of humor in them being half horse and her being a unicorn with a horse esc form. Admittedly I think she's trying to go the same route our father did."

"My father's preferences are.... Big. Height, muscle, it didn't matter as long as they were bigger than him in one way or another. Our mother used to be one of his captives but then they fell in love and it's history from there. She used to tell all sorts of stories of how her and a minotaur captive he had used to butt heads."

"My mother is a of marine esc captives. Mermaids, Sirens, Kelpies, Water dragons on the extremely rare occasion. Something along the lines of it being like keeping a fish out of water? I know there was this one traveling performing mermaid she had her eyes on, unfortunately he went missing."

He crosses his legs. "I do have a preference for my captives, I didn't just take the first four in line. While a lot of my choices go off of how their blood tastes, I do have more standards than that. I like my captives to have brown eyes, I think those look the prettiest whenever they do cry. I also enjoy if they're easy to humiliate. Beyond all of that, I like winged captives. Harpies, angels, most of all, pegasi. I haven't been lucky enough to find any pegasi that I like enough to keep as a captive though. I do have a griffon though, I'm pretty happy with him."

"With exception of Faust, my younger siblings don't keep their own captives. They have no interest in it."

you know I had to bring up my sketchbook kid Mattie for this one. in my mind this is like…impromptu midnight storytime bc someone woke up the entire household and now she’s almost settled no one wants to get up or go back to bed

(Kaisa has become a little more comfortable with openly doing magic by this point, partly because of reconnecting with Tildy in season 2 and partly because no matter how shoddy her spells come out, they never fail to entertain her kids, especially her youngest. Kaisa does the best stories in this house. no child can resist magic floating pictures)

The wild thing is I don’t feel sad that the shows over right now? Maybe it’ll hit me later, but rn I’m just SO inspired to create that I’m not sad! I guess that’s what Hilda’s always been for me, the enjoyment didn’t come as much from watching it as it did from being inspired by it, and participating in this fandom. Even if there’s some interactions we never got to see, I’m kind of happy that it still leaves the doors open for us to imagine them off screen.

Now that the season 5 filming is truly underway I wanted to clear up my approach to the season as of right now.

I will not be monetarily supporting the season and won't watch it on Netflix when it comes out. I will be following along with the filming process, and sharing my thoughts on the plot and characters I'm still rooting for.

Kinda obsessed with the idea of jealous Johanna. Jealous Kaisa just doesn’t sit well with me because the girl has self esteem issues as it is, I feel like jealousy would only be another thing to make her feel worse and instead of actually being out to defend what’s hers, she’d just go ‘yeah, I always knew Johanna would find someone better than me, guess all good things in my life must come to an end :/‘

Johanna, though. Johanna is an incredibly mature person who most likely knows how to deal with her feelings. And that’s what makes this scenario so fun to me. I want her starting off all confident only to slowly realize how many people try to flirt with her girlfriend. How there are women who only seem to go the the library to smile at Kaisa and blush and giggle. And I want to see her emotional intelligence go down the drain much to her own confusion. I’m talking going home and locking herself in her room and asking herself ‘what on earth is wrong with me’ as she does light stalking on some girl who not so subtly suggested Kaisa go out with her that day. I want to see her showing up when Kaisa is talking to a much-too-friendly patron and put her arm around her and glare at the person. I want to see her wondering what is up with her because she had never been like this and trying to get herself under control.

And I want to see Kaisa completely oblivious to other people’s attempts at flirting with her and thinking that Johanna’s little flashes of jealousy are the cutest things
