ㅤMidnight on the dot. Yet another thing Itachi greatly appreciated about his friend: Tenzou's unblemished punctuality which certainly he did not learn from their captain. The soft knocking on the bedroom window came and Itachi silently scurried out from under the covers, sparing a few seconds just to make sure Sasuke was sleeping soundly and properly tucked in, before slipping outside to go join the older boy on the roof. Typical ANBU hangout, as they would sometimes joke.

ㅤEspecially given the late hour, but certain matters were best spoken while the rest of the village slept. For once, this was about to be a good surprise or, at least, so Itachi hoped. Sitting cross-legged by Tenzou's side, he opted for not beating around the bush. «I have a proposal for you.» Before that, however, some context was needed. «Danzo-sama has put forth my name to be promoted to captain. And I accepted it. It'll become official as soon as the Hokage has the opportunity to revise and sign the document.»

ㅤWhich... was also a nice way of implying that said document was about to be partially forged, for the sake of stating Itachi's age as older than it truly was. Because, indeed, he was too young for the role of ANBU captain and some legal tweaking was necessary - in the words of that same Danzo. Tenzou himself was intelligent and surely would arrive at his own conclusions, so Itachi wouldn't bore him about details. His intention for calling over his friend was a much more pragmatic one.

ㅤ«I want you in my new team, as my second-in-command. I'm already considering a few other names, but you are at the top of my priority list. Do you accept?»

Blunt and to the point, like ripping off a band-aid; in typical Itachi style.

Every  part  of  him  wants  to  bring  a  hand  up  to  his  lips  and  touch  them,  they're  tingling  from  the  feeling  of  the  copy  nin's  lips  pressed  against  his  own  but  he  refrains  from  doing  such  a  thing  because  such  an  action  would  lead  to  further  embarrassment  on  his  part  (  when  he's  already  trying  to  smother  down  his  embarrassment  with  his  playful  and  teasing  deflection  that  he's  so  good  at  ). 

His  eyes  watch  how  quickly  Kakashi  gets  that  mask  into  place.  It  was  almost  like  he  was  embarrassed  too  and  that'd  make  Anri's  day  if  that  was  the  case,  not  in  a  sense  of  holding  it  over  his  head  to  humiliate  him  about  it  later  but  in  a  sense  of  he  wouldn't  be  alone  in  the  embarrassment  and  the  fact  that  it'd  mean  that  there  was  something. 

Anri  looks  thoughtful  for  a  moment,  hand  rising  so  that  finger  could  tap  at  his  chin  at  the  others  question.  ❝  Yes  and  no.  Yes  in  the  sense  that  I  know  know  what  it  feels  like  to  kiss  you  but  .  .  .  It  was  too  short  of  a  kiss  looking  back  on  it  now.  ❞  He  sounds  so  teasing  as  he  utters  each  word  but  there's  a  softness  in  his  tone  that  is  new  and  there's  a  dusting  of  color  on  his  cheeks  that  is  new  as  well. The  statement  shouldn't  sting  but  for  some  reason  it  does  and  there's  a  moment  where  one  can  notice  tension  that  settles  into  his  shoulders.  Yet,  deflection  and  playfulness  is  how  he  handles  all  his  problems,  simply  waving  his  hand  in  a  dismissive  manner  as  sky  blue  gaze  looks  to  the  fire  instead  of  at  the  copy  nin  now. 

❝  Yes  of  course,  in  my  many  hours  of  free time  that  I  have  as  an  active  member  of  anbu  who  goes  on  so  many  missions  that  I  barely  have  time  to  breathe.  I  spend  it  going  around  curiously  kissing  attractive  people.  ❞  He  lets  his  head  tilt  back  in  the  other  males  direction,  deadpan  expression  settled  onto  his  face  now.  ❝  Do  you  truly  think  so  lowly  of  me  ?  I thought we knew each other better.  ❞  He  only  shares a kiss with  people  that  he's  interested  in,  which  means  that  he is  interested in Kakashi.

We don't see much of Shibi but I wanna believe hes a good dad. We at least get scenes that shows he cares about his son and Shino cares about him a lot too- we support a single dad. I think the Worst he ever did was let Danzo take Torune? But like we saw him getting Distressed because The Fuckhead tried getting Shino first and Torune volunteered.

Ngl I wanna read a fanfic where that moment lead to an Aburame coup.

Aburame coup, backed by the Uchiha first, then the Akimichi joins them out of respect for the other noble clan and bring the Nara and Yamanaka with them, the Inuzuka hear about this and decide "Fuck it, things were getting kinda boring around here" and also back them up... Who's gonna stop them all? The Hyuuga? Half of them would love to join too :(
