Willow is a fiery, red-headed Faun who grew up in the Feywild. Willow’s mother, Idrina, died in childbirth, and her father, Eoin, was killed by orcs when she was only four years old - orcs are the only race that frighten her. She was taken in by her grandfather, Kayne, who was very scholarly and taught her all he could about arcane magic, though Willow’s true calling was music, and she excelled in the violin and flute. She is genderfluid and is happy with any pronouns and has a pet wolf named Kayla who follows her around everywhere.

Willow worships the forest and the woodland goddess Ehlonna. She has the symbol for Ehlonna (a unicorn) engraved on her violin and flute.

Personality Traits: She is an extremely vibrant, bouncy and friendly person, and is often too trusting - she finds it easy to befriend any race of creature and is non-judgemental. Despite being very trusting, she has a very strong bullshit meter. She is ballsy and brave and not afraid to stand up for herself or others. She is a kind-hearted, free spirit. She doesn’t eat meat. Her accent sounds Scottish, and she’s very sweet, cheeky and sassy. She has a large bite mark scar in her lower left arm, when she was attacked by an orc who was trying to hurt her friend.

Appearance: She is 4ft 1ins and if anyone comments on her height, she is quick to bite their hand off… figuratively speaking. She has fiery ginger hair and fur, and pale white skin. She is covered in freckles and has bright green eyes. Being a Faun, she also has hooves.

KAYLIE RUSSELL ~ AGE: 29 ~ OCCUPATION: POLICE OFFICER

IN A PAST LIFE:

When Kaylie was a little girl, she and her family moved into a new house, and her father purchased an antique mirror to decorate his office, However, unbeknownst to anyone, the mirror possessed terrifying supernatural power, and it began to terrorize the family. Kaylie’s parents were both driven mad, and were ultimately killed, and Kaylie was separated from her younger brother Tim; who was wrongly suspected of killing their parents. Years later, when she and her brother were adults, they reunited and Kaylie became hellbent on destroying the mirror that had torn her family apart. but only once she had documented its power and proved her brother’s innocence. This proved to be a fatal mistake, for the mirror once again took hold of them, and Kaylie was accidentally killed by her own brother. Upon her death, she was transported to the town of Chicanery.

HERE IN CHICANERY: 

Kaylie’s new life started very similarly to her old one. Her parents were killed under mysterious and horrifying circumstances when she was a child, and her younger brother was blamed and institutionalized for it. However, Kaylie wanted to get away from everything as she got older and tried to cope with her loss. Once she reached adulthood, she relocated to the small town of Chicanery hoping for a fresh start. At first, she had wanted to become a hairdresser, and while she was good at it, she soon realized that she had developed a crippling fear of mirrors. She never expected to join the police force, but the opportunity crept up on her. She had grown to have a strong sense of justice, and she wanted to protect other people and prevent anyone else from suffering a similar tragedy to the one she had. She’s bold, driven, determined, and courageous, and above all committed to her task.

Rule Seven

I can write a lot in my replies (And a lot of it can be unnecessary detail) but don't feel pressured to match my length! Just, please, try to give me something more than two sentences to work with. I don't typically enjoy writing short replies, but I understand muses can be fickle things.

I don't enjoy pregnancy threads or writing children so I, typically, will steer clear of those types of threads. If our muses have been in a long relationship (and we have been writing partners for a while as well) I may make an exception, but don't come in expecting babies. My girls all have IUD's unless stated otherwise. That being said I am 100% down with the breeding kink.

canon life:

had an affair with an already married man, became pregnant with fergus macleod (crowley), and she gave birth to him in 1661. the father left her almost immediately after this

because of this, she became cruel and cold, never wanting to feel so vulnerable again. she became abusive towards her son, who has in canon stated that he has no happy memories of her.

was a part of the grand coven (the most powerful witches), but was kicked out for using magic so violently, and for having a child with a non-witch

when fergus was only 8, she abandoned him, fleeing the british men of letters. 

during her travels, she met a polish family who took care of her. and she came to see their son, oskar, like a child of her own. in fact, he’s the only thing rowena truly loved (yes, that is, unfortunately, including fergus/crowley -- at least until a certain part of the show)

was later captured by fergus, now crowley, and taken to hell. she began to plot behind his back and manipulate him again, wanting to take over the throne of hell. 

since then has slowly began to grow more and more, eventually willingly helping sam and dean.

when crowley was killed, she began to realise what a terrible mother she had been and really began to regret what she’d done. she tried to make herself more powerful so that she’d be able to bring him back and try to make things right.

has a lot of lucifer trauma. he has killed her more than once, and she has seen his true face. he’s probably one of the few things she’s really afraid of. 

came to be a good friend to sam and dean, especially sam, and ended up sacrificing herself to save the world from being taken over by spirits from hell. 

to do this, she needed to cast a spell that would make her absorb all of the spirits, and she needed sam to kill her. he stabbed her in the stomach, she absorbed all of the souls, and threw herself into hell. 

from there, now a better person who was capable of love and compassion, rowena took over the throne of hell and did what she could to improve it.

I might be misunderstanding this question, so please forgive me if that’s the case. But do you mean have I ever had someone think my muse was someone else? If so, yes. I’ve had some people see the FC’s and automatically assume they’re a canon character from a movie or show they’ve been in prior to reading my bios for them. For example, I’ve had people assume that my Saoirse Ronan character, Lily, is Melanie/Wanda from The Host or Jo March from Little Women or folks have assumed that my Karen Gillan character, Delaney, is Amy Pond from Doctor Who or Eliza Dooley from Selfie. I think I’ve misunderstood the question but here we are... lol.

Not really any one fandom in particular. I’m always a little intimidated to write with characters, especially canon characters, from fandoms I’m not terribly familiar with. Not because of the fandom itself, but because I’m worried I won’t know enough about the characters or world to contribute enough to the interaction without messing up.

Hmmm, there was a body-switch event in an RP group I belonged to a few years ago and my tiny little Lily traded bodies with this burly guy with a Brock O’Hurn faceclaim...that was hilarious to write at least. Would that be considered nutty? I’m going with it.

She’s Jim Gordon’s daughter, and fiercely proud of it.  

She’s also an activist. She is a known participant in rallies, mainly because it’s hard to ignore Jim Gordon’s daughter if you’re a cop that knows her. She doesn’t tend to make trouble, but she certainly shows up.

She’s also helped volunteer on political campaigns, normally offering website design services for free, or something of the sort. 

She currently works as Oracle, helping many heroes throughout Star City from behind the scenes. 

PAST

Babs was young when her mother & brother left. Truthfully, she doesn’t remember them all that well, and doesn’t talk about them unless specifically asked. Jim is her father, and that’s enough for her.

When she was young, she flung herself into sports, begging her dad to put her into martial arts, and she excels, earning a blackbelt as a teen.

She also adored Batman as a child. She still has the designs of Batgirl she made when she was little tucked away.

She also excelled in her academics, photographic memory helping her graduated at the young age of 16.

She graduated from Gotham State University at 20 years old with a degree in forensic psychology.

However, due to her height she had some trouble getting a job directly in law enforcement. It wasn’t long after graduating that she settled as a victim advocate right out of school.

But it’s not enough. Soon, Babs decided to take things into her own hands and don the guise of BATGIRL. It isn’t long until her and her homemade costume are out on the streets fighting crime alongside Batman and Robin.

This continues for a few years, and Babs thrives. She grows romantically close with Dick Grayson who, for a long time, she thought she was going to spend forever with.

But life had some different plans...

ORACLE TO PRESENT

In an attempt to hit a weakspot of Jim Gordon, the Joker shot Barbara in the spine, causing her to lose the majority of her function below the waist. In an instant, Barbara Gordon was paraplegic. 

She went through an intense bout of depression at first, confined to a wheelchair and her passion collapsing in front of her caused her to push people away, hard. 

Eventually, she came out of the depression, and went back to her roots: she worked. 

Babs insisted on being just as useful as she was before. She throws herself into self defense in a wheelchair, and into her technological prowess.

She also throws herself into recovery. The doctors gave her a 50% chance of majority movement recovery, so she went for it, and still works towards 100% to this day. 

She takes on the guise of Oracle, sitting behind screens, gathering information from organizations from around the world, and working with Batman and countless other heroes. 

She also formed the Birds of Prey team, acting as a fount of knowledge in her agents’ ears. All members are women, and though the roster changes, her constants are Black Canary, Huntress, and Lady Blackhawk. 

Though after years of recovery she has regained a lot of movement in her legs, you will often still find her in a chair or even with crutches. Some days are better than others, and her journey has shown her that she’s capable of anything, no matter how she gets around on any particular day. Comment at your own risk. 

Though she’s thought about it many times, she has not taken back the guise of Batgirl, happy that others valued the title enough to take it on. She remains, happily, as Oracle. 

She does have a costume, for the rare moments where Oracle is called for in a physical form... and of course, for nostalgia mostly, she has her old Batgirl costume.

If you were to ask Ivy Harper who she really is the answer that came would be a lie. The redhead has gone through so many lives and been so many people she doesn’t know where a lie ends and the truth begins.

Ivy was the oldest child of her parents, two spies who weren’t even supposed to know each other let alone fall in love. But they did and both of them were good enough at their jobs that they managed to stop anyone from finding out when their daughter was born.

Ivy was eight when her father started training her the same way, wanting to be sure that the girl could protect herself should something go wrong. Not that anything ever did. Soon it became about protecting her sister, Juliette, who was born when Ivy was twelve.

She was eighteen when the unthinkable came to pass and her parents were killed. Their last note to her was to take her sister and run, and Ivy did just that. She changed their last name and found them a home in a small town where no one would search for the sisters. Juliette went to school and Ivy drove to the city nearby in order to work.

What she didn’t tell anyone (for safety) is that she was following in her parent’s footsteps, wanting to avenge them. She never told anyone about her past, no one knows she has a sister unless she wants them to, and Juliette doesn’t know that she is doing this kind of thing for a living.

As soon as Juliette turned 18, Ivy disappeared. She still sends money back to her little sister but she knows it is too dangerous to have attachments, especially in her line of work.

Ivy is only interested in muses aged 30 and older.

MURDER TW

The Fawleys had twins, Harrold and Kenneth. They were quite strict and demanded for them to keep the Fawley line as pure. However, Kenneth did not share those views, instead becoming a professional Quidditch players, and not settling for a while. By age 25, he was the chaser and captain of Puddlemere United, and was already quite the star, having lead the team to victory twice already. That Summer, Kenneth took a small travel to France, and quickly became enamored with Rosabelle Descartes, a young halfblood witch. She went to live with him in England the same year. However, her family being unknown in England, she passed herself as a pureblood in order to have some safety from his family. Two years later, the couple welcomed a little girl, Florence.

Not long after Florence was born, there was a small cheating scandal, resulting in Kenneth having a second child with another woman. Rosabelle took ot hard, but was able to get over it. It was never kept as a secret to Florence that she has a half-sibling, although she never met them or knew anything about them.

As a child, Florence was incredibly close to her father. He wasn’t just her father: he was best friend and her idol, she aspired to become a professional Quidditch player as well. With her mother, it was always a little more tense, but it wasn’t terrible either. For the most part, she had a great childhood, and her first three years at Hogwarts were nothing less than amazing. But it all came crashing down that Summer.

Her father had announced he was retiring from Quidditch, and this was his last season, so Florence and her mother went to every game with him. But the game on July 11th was truly his final one. Puddlemere was far ahead, and Kenneth had just scored more points when the crowd fell silent. What Florence saw was a bolt of green light hitting her father, and his body falling to the ground. Her mother then disappeared from her sight(she went to the body) and an auror, one of the other players’ partner, picked up Florence amd brought her to safety. Florence would later understand why her father had been targetted, but would later forget it.

It took Rosabelle three letters and both the girls had moved to France, with Florence being transfered to Beauxbâtons. She hated it, and she missed her friends, but she was also told the truth. The truth being that the Descartes family was halfblood, and therefore, so was she. They had only pretended to be pureblood because they were scared of the bad things that could happen if the truth was known. But now, someone had discovered it, hence the attack on Kenneth. It calmed Florence a little about the situation, but she never forgave her mother for sending her away from her friends and keeping up such a huge secret from her. The same year, as she tried to trial for the Quidditch team at her new school, Florence could not even lift from the ground, seeing the scene of her father’s death in her mind. It was then that her boggart wasn’t spiders anymore, but flying on a broom.

Through the years, Florence accepted the fact she couldn’t fly anymore, and so her dream shifted. Now, she wanted to become a sports journalist, and she worked towards that. She mentioned her intention to go back to England to pursue her studies after she graduated her 7th year, which her mother did not approve, but had no say in it anymore. But she couldn’t risk Florence telling about the fact they were halfbloods, and instants before she left the country, Rosabelle painfully obliviated her daughter into forgetting everything about their blood status, once again believing they were all purebloods.

Florence was more than happy to be back in Hogwarts, and to find her friends again. But it also came with something, some injeritance from her father that had been left at Gringotts for the Fawley’s left the country quickly. And behind the door, Florence found a lot of items, including her father’s broom. She brought it with her at Hogwarts, and secretly, when no one was around, tried to beat her boggart so she could fly again.

She was finally happy, but her mother came with bad news, at least for her: she was to be betrothed to Stefan Nott. Apparently, it was to secure her a good future, since Rosabelle did not have much money anymore, and was convinced a sports journalism career would not be good enough. Florence would’ve ended this much faster, but the letter did mention it would’ve been her father’s wish, and she couldn’t go against him.

Claire's mother is a makeup heiress and her father is a well-known local politician. She has a set of elder half-siblings, with the same father but different mothers. Her mother is wonderful- kind, caring, and considerate, and while her father loves and treats his family well, he is a corrupt politician who hides behind cover-ups of his shady dealings. The family dynamic is mostly loving, save her two sociopathic half-siblings, Malakai and Zoe. Malakai especially has always hated the younger triplet set (Clair, Ambrose, and their third sibling) and tensions have always been high.
