Anyone who has ever tried to eat a cold cereal breakfast 🥞 knows that they will feel hungrier sooner than if they ate a delicious egg 🍳 white omelette with lots of veggies (same calories in both meals at approximately 300 Cala) and that is because the protein in the eggs and the fiber in the vegetables 🍅 keep your fuller longer and create a hormonal balance affecting what you will eat from one meal to the next and naturally creating a calorie deficit if you want to loose weight 😄. I have learned this key fact with my certification from @jadeteta which has assisted me in running a successful fitness center! : : : #Repost @jadeteta with @get_repost ・・・ There is a constant debate over calories. Should we be thinking food quality or food quantity? There are people on both sides of this argument and I myself leaned more heavily towards quality than quantity for a long time. I have changed that position. I have not moved over to the quantity side, but rather I see them as equally important now. The degree of importance I think depends on the individual’s unique genetics & metabolism. Personal preference is huge too. Some people are numbers types and need to count and measure. Some people go by how they feel. They eat the foods that keep hunger down, cravings suppressed and energy high and stable. Both approaches can lead to sustained calorie deficits if you are smart. It’s the sustained part that is most important. In order to lose weight you must have a calorie deficit. In order to make sure you keep the weight off you must have a balanced hormonal metabolism. You need both and this is what people on either side of the argument miss. Sure Keto and fasting can create short term calorie deficits. But can you sustain them? Do they balance hunger, energy cravings? Can you do it for life? My advice to you is pick the diet approach you can own, enjoy and live with that balances your metabolism AND lowers calories. There are a million different ways to achieve that, but it must be achieved.
