Summary: BSD Characters with a reader who likes to borrow their clothes

Atsushi Nakajima

He's totally fine with it, and obviously he's not going to refuse. The first time you borrowed a T-shirt from him, He was taken aback and couldn't stop giving you that sweet look… Because of that he got into a lot of trouble…*cough* Kunikida...But the poor guy doesn't take his eyes off you.

Atsushi doesn't understand how you can look so good in his clothes than he does!

Akutagawa Ryuunosuke

As you can imagine, Akutagawa doesn't understand ''couple things'' like that and don't try to make him understand he'll call them trivial… and since they're trivial he doesn't care! Or at least he pretends his face doesn't turn red when he sees you pick up some clothes

Kunikida Doppo

He has so many questions. ''Why…? Why my clothes? You- wait don't- give me back!''

He knows he won't find a ''plausible'' reason, but Kunikida isn't mad, he's actually a little happy so he just sighs and gives you a small smile after writing it down in his notebook so he doesn't forget if one of his clothes is missing.

Chuuya Nakahara

Not only will he lend you his clothes but he will also stylishly match clothes with you. He has a good eye for fashion and nobody can disagree. When you asked if you could borrow any of his clothes his eyes widened and he quickly opened the wardrobe door

Sigma

Much like Chuuya. Sigma also has a good taste in fashion (Did you see his heels?! It's magnificent) and he will never think of this idea as a bad thing. When he sees you wearing one of his clothes at the Casino, he makes a point of taking your hand and making you spin slowly

Gin Akutagawa

*Blush and more blush* She can't answer you right away but know that she is so happy! She feels like those simple things connect the two of you…Gin might even secretly buy you a dress that looks just like hers so that on those rare days off, she can match clothes with her girlfriend on the date she arranged :)

Dazai

this is 50/50 with Dazai

i don't think Dazai takes some proper care of himself

i think he probably smells like alcohol most of the time

but if he's really interested in someone, he would definitely use some cologne

Chuuya

this man definitely smells nice

he surely uses some expensive perfumes

you can smell him for hours even after he leaves your place

overall, very pleasing scent

Akutagawa

he would smell like freshly washed clothes

i think the reason he smells nice is mostly because of his sister Gin

she sort of takes care of him, washes his clothing, etc.

Ranpo

let's face it, he's a lazy person

i'm not saying he's dirty or anything, but i don't think he washes his clothes frequently

he definitely doesn't stink though

he would smell somewhat sweet, maybe a bit minty

Kunikida

he definitely takes a good care of himself

washes his clothing constantly, wears perfume or cologne, etc.

his scent is overall very attractive

Fyodor

stinky rat

Fyodor has more serious issues to deal with than his scent

he doesn't care how he smells

BUT, if he's really interested in someone, (and i mean really), he would try his best to smell nice

i think me might smell a bit resinous? if it makes sense

Edgar

similiar to Chuuya

he owns numerous expensive perfumes

he's afraid of what others might think of him, especially if it's someone he's interested in

i feel like he would also smell like ink and old books (i don't know how to really explain😭)

Dazai

Dazai always teases you about not turning work in on time, which annoys you a lot

Has a tally chart of every time you've forgotten something

He really gets on your nerves sometimes, but you try to joke around as much as you can

For your anniversary, he got you a beautiful pendant that matched his own

It was gleaming with a silver lining, a black ribbon to attach it, and your favorite stone in the center

You loved it so much and wore it every day

But, one day you were getting ready for work, and the pendant wasn't on your dresser

You had a little bit of a breakdown and tore your house apart looking for it

You gave up and sat in despair

Kunikida called a million times considering you're almost never late for work

when you heard a knock on the door, you assumed it was Kunikida until you got up close to it

"Oh Y/nnnn~ You're never late wassuppppp"

Oh

Shit.

You ran and hid back in the living room

"I'M DEADLY SICK GO AWAY DAZAI!" "wait wahhhh?"

As you hid under a mountain of blankets, waiting for him to hopefully leave, you heard your front door swing open

"You forgot I had a key to your place Belladonnaaaa!"

Suddenly the blanket was ripped off you and you were exposed

You looked up at Dazai as he blinked at you, waiting for you to speak

Tears immediately formed in your eyes as you stared at him in embarrassment

He got even more confused when you started profusely apologizeing

"I LOST THE PENDANT YOU GAVE ME, I'M SO SO SORRY OSAMU! I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY!"

You expected Dazai to tease you, or be upset, but instead he laughed

When you looked up, he was smiling down at you

"I figured this would happen."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the exact same pendant from before

You looked up in amazement as he handed it to you

"I even took the liberty of getting a second one made, hehe."

You guys skipped work together after, and went on a cute little cafe date

Kunikida

He sometimes gets a little aggravated with your forgetfulness sometimes, but he tries to be as understanding as possible

He tries to help you remember stuff in a logical way, like helping you take notes or texting you things you need to remember

He does snap a few times, but does apologize immediately after each time

Kunikida got you a custom-made notebook to keep notes in, it was a darker shade of your favorite color, had lightly tea-stained pages, and had "Never fall" Written on the front

You would take notes in it and it honestly really helped your memory

You got to work early one morning to finish some work, you went to write something down and... Your notebook wasn't there

You freaked out, it was just you in the office, but in only a mere twenty minutes Kida would be there to start the day

You basically tore apart your desk looking for it (neatly putting it back together afterward)

You went through your office locker and your work bag. Even checking Dazai and Ranpo's desks to see if either of them had hidden it from you

In the middle of researching through your own bag, Kunikida came in for work

He noticed you over at Ranpo's desk and was a bit confused

"What are you doing in Ranpo's desk?"

His voice caught you off guard, making you slam your head into the metal desk

You laid on the ground in defeat as Kunikida came over to check if you were okay

"Please don't be mad..."

You explained what happened and how you really didn't mean to lose it

Kuni sighed as he picked you up off the floor

"I'm not mad, maybe a little irritated, but definitely not mad."

You went to the cafe while he looked for it, luckily Kunikida's ideals for the day included 10 minutes of free time for you

When you came up with Kunikida's coffee, the notebook was sitting on his desk with his own, he'd managed to find it

Akutagawa

He doesn't really care how forgetful you are unless it interrupts him

He does get irritated when you forget missions or to turn in paperwork, he has snapped a little more than Kunikida

He got you a beautiful feather pen for your birthday, it was the first really meaningful gift he ever got you

You wrote with it in journals and such to try to help you memorize certain things

But one evening, you forgot where you had put it.

You freaked out, worrying Akutagawa would be upset you lost such an expansive gift

You looked for almost an hour and a half before you realized it was gone.

At that time, Akutagawa came by your apartment to see what was taking you so long

When he opened the door he was met with you lying on the floor in defeat

"What's the problem here?"

You looked up at him as he was walking over, and just hid behind your hands

"..I lost your present."

Akutagawa stared down at you for a minute, whether trying to calm his anger; Or thinking about what to say you don't know.

He sighed as he started searching himself

"Although it was wildly expensive, I'm not mad. Let's just keep looking."

You stood up confused as he kept flipping over things

You walked up and hugged him from behind

"Thank you..." "Mhm, not a problem."

You both kept looking, but in reality, it wasn't even in your apartment. It was in your desk drawer at the office

Poe

Poe is very patient with you, he's also a slightly forgetful person so he understands that you're really trying

Poe tries to write you little notes and hide them throughout your desk to help remember importance things

He also checks frequently on you to see if you're doing what you're supposed to be

Poe wrote you a book of poems about yourself, it was a full book to the very last page

It was very indearing, and you read it to help you fall asleep

You had always kept it in your work bag, but when you when you went to take it out one day it was missing

You freaked out, starting to look through the whole office

You'd remembered putting it in your bag this morning so it has to be there somewhere

After about 30 minutes of intense searching, Poe came in to check up on you

"What are you doing my dear Y/n?"

You just couldn't lie to him, you sighed as he walked over

"Poe.. I'm really sorry. I lost the book you wrote for me. I know the cover was expensive, plus all your work is gone.. please forgive me."

Poe smiled as he grabbed your face into his hands

"My dear I have every one of those poems memorized by heat. And don't worry about expenses, it was only a meer 65,000 Yen. I'll forget that in seconds."

You chuckled as he hugged you tightly

Karl ended up having the book, and Poe read it to the both of you that night

in any instance where youre tired or dont feel like cooking,mans has got it!

Makes a simple yet delicious meal and astounds you~

OH! And imagine for your anniversaries he gives you a card and as you open it he says “doppo poet!” And he turns it into a mini bouquet! (And when i say mini,i mean it.remember guys he can only summon stuff that are smaller than or the size of his notebook!)

Oh and he never forgets important dates😌

He’s a little new to romance but is surprisingly good!

Sigma

You and Sigma have been together for some time now, and you thought it would be the perfect time to introduce Sigma to your adopted child.

You called Sigma on the phone and told him you were going to bring someone dear to you to introduce them at his office. Sigma got nervous to meet someone you were close with and didn't want to make a bad first impression.

You knocked on the door, and Sigma welcomed you in. He was shocked to see an around ten year old child with you. 'This is c/n, c/n this is Sigma.' You said, smiling softly to yourself. The kid reached their hand out to Sigma and said,'Nice to meet you, mister!' Sigma shook their hand and responded accordingly.

Sigma and the child got a long great. He spoiled the kid rotten every time they came over, giving them some cookies or something.

Osamu Dazai

At first, when you told Dazai you had a child, he thought it was a joke, but when he realised you were being serious, he stopped laughing and asked why you had a child. (Not in an overly rude way)

You invited Dazai over to meet the child. Dazai came over with flowers and something for the child, like sweets. He handed you the flowers and asked where your kid was. 'They're in the kitchen.' You responded. Once Dazai saw the kid, he greeted them, telling them who he was. He tried to be respectful towards the child, and he was careful with his words, which surprised you a bit.

'Thank you for coming, I think they really like you.' You smiled while seeing him out.

Doppo Kunikida

Kunikida doesn't mind being with a single parent, but when he heard you had a child, he got instantly worried for the child. He tried not to show his worry, but you knew he was worried. So you introduced the child to him.

You walked into the ada with a 2 year old child around your neck. Kunikida didn't notice you at first, so you had the brilliant idea of scaring him with your child. You propped the child in the air behind his shoulder and shouted 'boo'. Kunikida instantly knew who it was. He turned around to scold you but almost had a heart attack when he saw the child.

He didn't want to raise his voice around the child, but the both of you knew Kunikida was pissed off. 'Come on, can't you take a joke?' 'Having a child is not a joke!' His response made you hold your child closer, and you walked out to the door.

Kunikida felt bad for how he acted and ran after you, placing a hand on yours before you could leave. 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that.' It wasn't like Kunikida to apologise, his actions taking you aback. You quickly forgave him and introduce your child to him.

This is my first time taking requests:) Kunikida is definitely like a ‘dad who doesn’t want a cat but got caught baby talking to them’ type of cat lover. And, this is so cheesy. Also, the intented paragraphs are parts of flashback/memory.

BSD MASTERLIST.

One thing that Kunikida loves about you is your heart for stray cats everytime he tags you along for a mission (with Dazai in addition) where he also can spend time with you while working. You always have a cat food ready at your bag and everytime you manage to find a cat to feed, getting Kunikida late for his schedule — he can’t do anything about your quality time with cats.

He also catches you staring at him as he stared back in confusion with eyebrow shot up when he raised his head away from his laptop because he can sense your eyes staring at his face, though he can’t really blame you; everytime he stares back at you with those shade of eyes, all in while blinking slowly at him that had his confusion rose more, but the cat like grin you gave him after doing that weird gesture with your nose scrunched up always made him sigh in contentment (the confusion is still there).

“(Name)’s so cute!” Dazai’s enthusiasm is also what Kunikida’s problem everytime you do that mannerism of yours. The brunette also loves to poke that compliment everytime you stare at Kunikida, blink, smile, and leave after that to get more coffee on the café down the ground floor of the building. “(Name) loves to tell you (Name) loves you everytime, huh?”

Kunikida sent him a glare of confusion as his forehead creased and Dazai stared st him dumbfoundedly while pointing on his face.

“Don’t tell me, you don’t know why (Name) always do that?!”

“No?” Kunikida exclaimed and the brunette wailed, trashing his body on his chair with a complete despair written on his face as he put a hand on his chest to act like he’s been shot by the heart (literally).

“Whaaaaaaaat?! Ah! Kunikida’s so gullible that even a single gesture of (Name)’s love can’t be seen!”

“What the hell, Dazai?! Stop assuming things! Of course, I know (Name) loves me and so do I!”

“Then, tell me, Kunikida-kun. What does that slow blinks means then?” Dazai said with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face that made Kunikida more furious, but he supressed them with a sigh, unable to answer because he can’t really explained what do you mean by those weird gesture he’s been receiving from you.

“See? You don’t know,” The brunette let out an exasperated sigh, “Slow blinks is a gesture that cats do to their owners to tell them that they love and trust their owners, so they often blink slowly everytime their owners stares at them.”

To say at that moment, Kunikida is now already flustered and flushed pink everytime you gesture him with slow blinks.

Despite that love gesture, you were always enthusiastic at the fact that Atsushi had an ability to transform in a tiger — in which Kunikida told you that it wasn’t exactly a domestic cat and you can’t take care of him in your shared-dorm because he’s also a young man (and Kunikida is your significant other, take care of him instead!).

You’ve been acting strange, Kunikida have noticed; eversince you’ve arrived with a random medium-sized box you keep in the storage room of your shared dorm and you told him not to worry about it, Kunikida had been wary of you.

What are you hiding in that box? Was it a body? Although, it doesn’t emits any smell of a rotting corpse, he shook that thought off. He remembers the look on your face when he asked you about it when he caught you carrying the box inside the dorm carefully and without a noise. You also looked startled as your eyes dropped to your watch, telling him that it is too early for him to arrive home (which he always arrive later than your shift at the Agency) as you are quick to discard the topic.

You were also nervously prancing around the dorm, glancing at him time to time to check if Kunikida might invade the storage room of your dorm, yet he payed no mind if it’s something about invading your privacy. But, he’s curious!

“(Name), what’s really that box for?” Kunikida questioned as you were trapped between him and the wall of your dorm and you nervously let out a forced laugh before shaking your head.

“I-It’s nothing, Doppo! Don’t mind that.” You stuttered as you internally screamed. You were really bad at lying, especially when Kunikida is cornering you like this everytime you hide such minor things that you are too shy to tell him because he acts totally different than what you expected.

Though, this time, you were really sure his reaction will be what’s on your mind.

He lets out a sigh, “(Name).” He muttered your name as he steps in closer, grabbing your wrist in between his fingers as he intertwined your fingers in his before dragging you with him as he walks towards the storage room of your dorm and you frantically yelp, pacing quick in front of him but his strenght is unmatched, holding you with both hands on your hips before hoisting you up and carrying you like a sack of potatoes on his shoulder.

“Doppo, nooooooooooooo!”

He opened the door as he flickered the lights open before striding forward the box.

Scratch. Scratch. Scratch. Scratch.

Kunikida glances back at you as you stared back at him with doe eyes; a habit everytime you did something troublesome (maybe because of hanging around Dazai too much).

“(Name),” He firmly calls your name with a sigh again, “Is that what I think inside the box?”

“Doppoooooooooooo,” You whined his name, “Yes. It is what you think it is inside the box.” You finally gave in as he sighed before gently placing you to your feet. You walked towards the box as you opened it and Kunikida gawked.

“(Name), I know it’s a cat, but I didn’t think of that many! Did you pick them one by one?!”

“No, I did not! They’re already placed here in the box, all eight of them and I can’t decide which to bring back home, so I carried them all! And, besides, it’s raining heavily yesterday and they’re on the sidewalk!” You wailed. Kunikida glances at the kittens inside the box in slumber, snuuglint on each other as he glance on you again.

“Please? Can we keep them?”

“(Name) —”

“Please? Besides, the President also loves cats and I always provide half of my salary for cats’ necessities. I will also make sure they won’t make a mess! Cats can be litter trained and you know how much I wanted cats, right? Scenario

The door to [f.name]’s home slowly unlocked and opened, an exasperated sigh echoing through the room and Kunikida walked through the living room and to the kitchen to where they stood cooking food. “I’m home, darling.” The agents voice sounded hoarse and tired as he walked—if you could even call it that—towards them beginning to wrap his arms around their torso, his head resting against their shoulder.

With a soft greeting from themself. “Welcome home, Doppo.” They mumbled, the food slightly sizzling as they stirred it slowly.

“I missed you.. so much, .” He sounded tired, his voice was quiet when he spoke into their ear.

“I missed you too. Hey go on and sit down, I’ll bring you your dinner.” They patting his head, he shook his head no only tightening his grip around their waist.

“It’s so nice to see you again. Dazai drove me nuts.”

“He always does.” They let out a laugh, turning off the stove and turning in his arms to face him. Their fingers tangled into his hair, running their fingers through the strands. Kunikida basically melted into their being with a relieved groan.

A simple movement, swinging your wrist slightly and bringing it up to your chest just to look at the wristwatch, reminded you of Kunikida… Or rather, reminded you of his organized way that made him look at the time whenever he saw you arriving at the agreed place. But it wasn't to know if you arrived on time or not, but to know how much more (or less) time he has to spend more time with you (and so enjoy every second);

With the arrival of winter, the icy winds tickled your face remembering Akutagawa's touch, remembering how his cold fingers always pulled you by the waist to calm or protect you, or when he subtly and silently brushed away the strands of hair, placing them behind your ear, on your sleeping figure;

There was always that lonely father who was watching his children sweetly on the playground, and it was like seeing Odasaku alive. You couldn't help but laugh a little remembering the orphans laughing and running towards him like he was a protective angel… and also, you can't help but cry remembering what a real angel he was in your life;

Whenever you got hurt, even if it was a small cut, Yosano was the first thing that came to your mind. You always remembered how kind (and less scary) she was as she healed you, and from the swarm of butterflies that appeared…and behind them, there was concern being washed off her face;

As you passed in front of an Antique store, you saw a beautiful doll in the showcase that Ayatsuji would surely love. As your eyes caught sight of it, your mind remembered the way he used to look at you, with a precise, focused, and admiring gaze (the same look he also gave to his dolls), and the way a small, rare smile would form on his lips when he noticed your nervousness under his gaze.

atsushi learns to take care of long hair via kyouka - he's watched her do her hair and has helped her do it enough that he's pretty okay with it now

one day, kunikida's hair just keeps on slipping out of his pony tail and atsushi, noticing his frustrations, offers to brush it and tie it for him

he enjoys doing kyouka's hair, dont get me wrong, but he thought it was just a kyouka only thing - after all how could atsushi not want to do things for kyouka who was like a sister and who deserved help or assistance in small things if she so asked - atsushi didn't realize how much he was doing it to show his own affection for her

he finds as he's brushing hair, that its just a way he's been showing kyouka he likes her and now w/ kunikida

anyway atsushi ends up braiding kuni's hair while he's working, and is buzzing with this newfound understanding of another way he can show affection

and with the comb tightly in his hand he asks if anyone else would like him to brush his hair, as nonchalantly as he can

naomi takes one look at his tail wagging, w/ atsushi unaware, and says yeah sure and lets him brush her hair and tie it up

she even tells him to brush juni's hair - which isn't long at all but its still fun

the next day yosano asks atsushi if he could tie up her hair and even ranpo lets him brush it back once

slowly atsushi works his way through everyone in the agency

other than dazai

atsushi offers his services to dazai too

but dazai always refuses - he jokes about atsushi only not doing his hair and when atsushi says he will, dazai gets weirdly quiet and changes the topic after a minute

anyway

atsushi does end up doing dazai's hair, not just brushing, but washing and drying and pushing it out of his face, but its on one of those weeks where dazai cant bring himself to even get out of bed and atsushi decides to take care of him instead

anyway thank you person who said atsushi wants to braid kunikida's hair i love u

Fifty-six days had passed since you first joined the armed detective agency, and for fifty-six days, you had been in love with Kunikida. In any normal circumstance, you would confess your love, but unfortunately, you already found yourself in love with someone else. Kunikida knew of your partner. That is why he never even dared to think about you romanticly. Well, at least the tried not to think of you in such ways. It was hard, but he tried nonetheless.

Your friendship grew over time, you would constantly confide in each other, talking about your day, going out for drinks, you would even go as far as telling Kunikida about your partner and how they treated you. Your relationship with your partner was private, and you did not want to talk to anyone about it, fearing of the judgment of others and what your partner would do if they found out.

Kunikida was in his study, writing in his notebook about his day when he heard a knock on the front door. It was raining outside, so Kunikida tried hurrying to the door. When the door opened, the loud sound of rain hitting the concrete outside the building interrupted Kunikida's thoughts. In front of him, you stood there, cold, scared, tired of everything. 'Come in.' Kunikida spoke, and you walked in. It was not the first time you found yourself in Kunikida's house, but this time, it was different. 'What's the matter?' The sound of the rain quiet down, and the sound of your heart began becoming louder and lounder within your chest.

'Is everything okay?' You felt a hand on your shoulder, and you quickly moved away. You were face to face with Kunikida. The only thing you felt like doing was crying. You leaned yourself on Kunikida and began crying. Understandably, Kunikida was confused. He began to rub your back in order to calm you down. You felt Kunikida slowly moving with you to a place where you two could sit.

Once you calmed down, you started saying what was happening. 'I finally broke up with them, but they didn't like that and threatened me, hit me and everything!' You cried. Your partner always treated you poorly, abusing you any chance theu got, hitting you, screaming at, it was a nightmare, you got tired of it all and managed to break up with them, but it was not easy, they shouted at you, telling you how you are worthless and will never be loved, they kicked and hit you, you could do nothing bit cry and eventually manage to run away.

Sometime had passed, and you stayed sitting there, drenched from the rain and tears, and now Kunikida was as well. Kunikida had listened to your every world, patiently sitting there, waiting until you would calm down. Once you stopped crying, he offered you to change your clothes into something more dry.

You both had changed your clothes into something of Kunikida's, Kunikida's clothes hung loosely around you. A cup of tea was placed in front of you. You were sitting at the table holding a newspaper, reading up on the events that happened during the previous days.

Kunikida always respected you and would never do something you were uncomfortable with, wanting you to feel happy and safe around him, so when you came to him sobbing and crying, Kunikida did not know what to do, especially when you ended up wearing his clothes, wanting to cuddle with him throughout the night to feel better. It was nice, laying there, but this was not what his ideals said, yes they say to help any one in need and told help out his friends, but nowhere does it say that he could sleep with his friends, he wants to help you. At the end of the day helping you is all that matters, isn't it?
