Living Single (1993-1998) → Season 1, Episode 20: Hot Fun in the Wintertime
Maxine: Hey, Kyle. Oh, Kyle. Your wife was here, man. But don’t worry. I covered for you. Don’t even thank me.
Kyle: Come on, baby.
Rebecca: What was that all about?
Kyle: Look, she’s lyin’ because she's evil. She doesn’t even live here.
Rebecca: Then why did she just walk into that apartment?
Kyle: Oh, o-okay, okay, okay. Look, this is what it is—
Rebecca: Uh, shh. Explain it to your wife.
Maxine: She bought that? She is so easy.
Kyle: I know.
I know there are a limited amount of gifs of the pairing on here, but do you have any Maxine and Kyle moments that you favor? I just watched the episode with the cat funeral and I like the small moments of Kyle comforting Max after she learns she's allergic to chocolate.
I think my favourite scene of theirs altogether is in "Playing House" when they lie to their friends about where they are so they can have a weekend of sex which starts off really well and by the end they're arguing
but then
because that’s the epitome of their relationship and I find it so romantic in a very them way and those are the moments that I like of them the most where they’re just very them
I also love when they’re sneaking around “no strings attached” and Overton knew the whole time and refers to Max as Kyle’s woman
Erika Alexander and T.C. Carson reprising their roles as Maxine Shaw and Kyle Barker and Briana Hodge as their daughter, Kyla Barker, on Half & Half (Season 3, Episode 14 – The Big Performance Anxiety Episode)
Maxine: I've got a meeting to go over some documents tonight, so Kyla should just stay at your place.
Kyle: Ohh. I'm always delighted to spend time with my seed, my little cherub, my progeny.
Maxine: You never could just keep it simple.
Kyla: Dad, I'm gonna need two hours of play time before homework, some chocolate chip cookies, and a 15% increase in my living expenses. And that's not negotiable. There better be some fresh donuts on that snack table.
