What are you thoughts one leialando?

welllll i’ve hc’d lando as gay for a while now, but i know he was recently semi-confirmed to be pan, so i’m ok w/ that for the sake of this answer:

i don’t see a lot of romantic or sexual compatibility. leia carries a lot of emotional baggage that i don’t know lando could handle in a relationship. i don’t mean to imply that lando is immature or uncaring or downplay whatever trauma he’s faced - though fwiw i haven’t studied his character quite like i have with leia or han. i think lando wants fun and spontaneity out of a relationship, whereas leia wants growth and help healing. i don’t think they have a lot of shared experiences or mindsets. it might be kinda hard fro them to relate to each other. their romantic needs do overlap (see: han), but they’re more different than they are similar imo. also, in their later years, it seems to me like lando wants to kick back and relax, and leia’s consistent goal is recovery and reconstruction after the war. idk if i’m making sense but you know what i mean. lando wants a nap. leia wants justice for the galaxy

i do love their friendship, though. i think they get into feisty fun political debates, and they have drinks together sometimes. they also love to make fun of han together. leia uses the force to mess with lando bc he is a skeptic
