An excerpt from my old fanfic

I wrote (and finished) only one fanfic in 2015/2016. It's fanfiction between Clarke and Lexa from the 100, a couple that would bring my girlfriend and me together. (You can find it here, but please don't read it because, goodness gracious, it's not good). We bonded over the show and our love of Clexa and even ended up calling each other nicknames based on the couple (commander and princess). While I originally got into fanfiction through Supernatural and Harry Potter, the 100 is when fanfiction turned into a deeper connection with the queer community. #LexaDeservedBetter was trending after Lexa was killed, and her death made "Queer Death" more real to me. This is when I went from enjoying queer art, learning about queerness, and getting in touch with my own identity to wanting to fight for the entire community and more equal rights.

Without further adieu, here is the beginning of the chapter dedicated to my girlfriend:

Do what you can to make a difference.

Study hard. Work harder.

Climb the latter until you can see the entire city.

Shout until people start listening.

Justice. Peace. Loyalty.

It is up to you and only you.

The difference you want to see cannot be done if you sit idly by.

He mentioned he had been fleimkepa to 4 Commanders including Lexa...

And Sheidheda was Commander in Indra’s childhood. And Lexa ascended when she was Madi’s age.

I don’t know how many Commanders ruled between Sheidheda and Lexa but it’s very likely right?
