Yes! Although sometimes if there's really no way to respond to it I just mark it as read.

...also usually it takes me a while to get the motivation to reply. I've been known to take months before answering a comment 😬

Oo hm... I can't decide so instead I shall dump a handful of them

One Last Look - Skyward Sword Zelink, after that scene

Age - Sksw Zelink through the years, with a bittersweet ending

Golden Sands - this is one of the first fics I ever posted (originally posted on Wattpad... oof). but basically it's about the robot Skipper from Skyward Sword, thinking about his past life while broken and unable to move in the present.

Incomprehensible - POV of other hobbits in the Shire, unable to understand why the four Travelers act the way they do, or why eventually their number drops to three.

Regrets - Joandeavour talking about... tough things :(

Please, Ada - Babey™ Legolas wanting to hang with his father and his father does NOT want to hang with him is the happiest way I can describe it

8. Do you get hate on fics?

My fics usually have a pretty small reception so I don't think so? The most would be someone saying the plotholes of the fic were killing them which then sent me, a major overthinker, into overdrive, even though it's not that bad XD so no, thankfully, I don't think I've ever gotten any (although anon hate is another thing entirely. LOL)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

erm. I don't think I ever have?? I've read one or two before, but I don't believe I have ever actually written one

Zelink, Joandeavour, Spideychelle, Rudy/Liesel, and Hiccstrid

(Hm. Thinking about it Joandeavour is probably my favorite just because it's so heartbreakingly tragic, but Zelink is a very very very close second)

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

hah.

Probably this, a fix-it Spideychelle fic that I have a lot written for but idk if I'll ever have the guts to do much else with it

16. What are your writing strengths?

d. description I guess?? I've never been a good judge at what I'm good at XD

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to be a bit Victor Hugo-esque with my sentences, aka I have to control myself so the sentence doesn't stretch on for five paragraphs

and we don't talk about my old fics <3

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I mean? For LOTR I would definitely sprinkle in elvish just for the vibe of it, also because he did so, but I would also provide translations. For real-world...hmm. I think I did throw in three or four German words in The Book Thief fic I posted recently, but again, the author himself did so, and I think so long as you're not adding a full, necessary sentence that the reader is then required to look up in order to understand what's going on, and if you instead just use a curse word or a muttered phrase of annoyance or something in the other language, I think that's fine.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

LOTR, I believe. Hand-written in seventh or eighth grade XD

(And then I wrote dozens of unfinished Loz fics in the notes app on my mom's ancient phone she didn't use anymore, fics that completely misunderstood any of the games because I hadn't played them yet. It pains me to think about those fics).

(also this is not counting those "add on to the end of the story!" assignments teachers used to give out in middle school)

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

againnnn we are doing several (look my decision making has been ATROCIOUS lately, I cannot be faulted <3)

you feel like home - SkSw Zelink, a teeny tiny bit of angst but mostly fluff (also Link nearly throws hands with Scrapper which is a bonus. When I tell you I cranked that fic out in a day after getting so salty with Scrapper I nearly snapped my wiimote in half)

would I run off the world someday - a very recent TP Zinc fic!! It has traces of Midlink; essentially, it's about Link refusing to stop grieving Midna, and thus hurting himself and Zelda, who is in love with him due to having shared a soul with Midna. It's basically a 4+1 fic and does end happy with the promise of future Zelink, very different from my normal Zelink stuff though

Forbidden - Zinc week fic that didn't get as much attention as my other two ZW fics, but I actually really really love it so. <3 I just. idk I love the prose of that fic, I suppose :) and the ending hehe

Introducing The Budapest Gorilla Troop by SloggerVlogger Today starts a new series and I'm back to the Budapest Gorilla troop for some up-to-date footage. This is a quick video, an introduction as I wanted to update my previous introduction. Also, I've done a #shorts video of the gorilla family. The group consists of five gorillas. Silverback Golo was born at the Zoologisch-botanischer Garten Wilhelma, near Stuttgard Germany. He was born on the 27th of September 1980 and stayed until the 7th of April 1981 when he moved to Zoo Zürich. He's been at the Budapest Zoo since the 2nd of May 1989. He has four offspring, but only his daughter Indigo is still with him. Female Gorilla Liesel was born on the 15th of April 1977 making it the oldest gorilla in the troop. She was born in Zoo Frankfurt and stayed there until her move to Budapest on the 20th of April 1989. Her offspring are Dango, Gorka and Ebobo. Female Gorilla Iringa also from Germany was born at the Münchener Tierpark Hellabrunn on the 31st of January 1998. From there she was moved to Zoologisch-botanischer Garten Wilhelma on the 3rd of April 2002. On the 3rd of April 2002, she was moved to Zoo de la Boissiere du Doré and to Budapest Zoo on the 14th of April 2003. You might remember her mother from the Munich footage I filmed in 2020. She's called Neema and kept the blackbacks in check, including Ozala's and Oumbie's son Okanda. She also loves sitting by the window watching the people. Something most Gorillas don't do. Female gorilla N'yaounda the mum of Indigo was born on the 5th of February 2001 at Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands. She was moved to Budapest Zoo on the 31st of October 2008. Her offspring are Bongo and Indigó. Female Gorilla Indigó, daughter of N'yaounda was born at the Budapest Zoo on the 23rd of December 2017. Emerald Graves: Chateau D’Onterre

Chateau d'Onterre is a vast estate of the Dales found in the Emerald Graves; it was once the seat of House D'Onterre. Now, it is abandoned under suspicious circumstances.

[This is part of the series “Playing DA like an archaeologist”]

This mansion in the middle of the Emerald Green displays Orlesian style. However, it’s interesting to notice that a lot of what’s considered Orlesian is, in fact, elvhenan design.

The doors to enter the chateau are the same ones we find in the Lost Temple of Dirthamen. We can consider this a mere reuse of assets, but it could also be the means to show that what happened historically has been leaked into the design of this nation. The heraldry of the Dalish, in particular the one that represents Mythal [a mask that looks like made of a tree branch with leaves] has been inspiration for a very typical [and similar] symbol that decorates a lot of Orlesians mansions, chateaus and orlesian environments.

This shared design has a historical origin: The Dales. So does this gate.

This chateau will tell a story about how mages can avoid the abuse of the Circles if they belong to wealthy family, but at the same time, how the lack of proper training puts in danger everyone around the mage.

We start close to the entrance of the Chateau, where we find Betta's Travel Journal. It narrates how this family left Orlais due to the war and went to Ferelden. The narration is a bit confusing because it belongs to a woman who after experiencing grief and trauma, distorts her past. Liesel and a child called Yves disappear for a while, reappearing later. Betta doesn't know if Yves is a dog. She only talks and plays games with her late mother. She clearly lost her mind. This imaginary mother asks her to look for Crystal Graces at the edge of a waterfall, and since it's there were we find this object, it seems she may have died, slipping from here.

As we enter to the Chateau, Cole informs us that the spirits here are vigilant.

The house has many portraits in all its walls. Most of them are from the family of D'Onterre: Nanette, Anita Chayeau, General Mathieu D'Onterre [who is called "feared by the dog lords", meaning this family may have had a history in the Orlesian invasion to Ferelden], Jeannette D'Onterre [matriarch of the House D'Onterre], and Abel D'Onterre.

There are paintings of the Imperial Highway [Tevinter-made] and of Val Royeaux. There are a lot of Andrastian iconography as well.

Maybe some of these portraits can be important in other Orlais-based games lore, but I have little to no interest in Orlesian nobility in general.

Close to an Andrastian painting called "Those tho oppose thee shall known the wrath of Heaven", we find A Torn Diary which gets updated along the exploration of the house. It sounds like the diary of a mage teenager who was possessed or at least strongly influenced by a demon to the point that they may have killed their parents. .

In the upper floor, there is a Library where we can find Free Marches statues and several codices and notes:

Secret Reading (hidden letter), which talks about a box that may fix the little problem [by the end of the exploration of this chateau we can understand this is the elven box we find at the end, and the little problem is the teenager untrained mage]

Superstitions: which explains how to prevent magic from developing in babies. Among the suggestions it says to avoid conception during winter, pregnant women should sleep with embrium below their pillow, place leeches on the infants’ limbs and wrap them. And the most interesting one: children showing signs of magic have to be submerged in water until their breath is nearly lost. This is a comment done by Orsino in DA2: “Why don’t they just drown us as infants? Why wait? Why give us the illusion of hope?”. In the book of World of Thedas, there is an extract suggesting this same procedure claiming to be based on Chantry suggestions, while a sister denies it. Interesting superstition that, when it goes wrong, it “fixes” a problem.

From the Canticle of Threnodies: which narrates the invasion of the Magisters to the golden City.

Of Gods and Doubt: a letter about how the silence of the Maker fills with doubts an initiate in the Chantry. “Is the Maker less silent than the profane elven pantheon, or the Old Gods of Tevinter? And what of Archdemons that are not silent at all?”. This brings such a big questioning to the player as well

The Girl in Red Crossing: a song that it’s not by chance placed here: Red Crossing is the place where the trigger of the Exalted Marches happened. A human from Red Crossing, holding a letter and daisies, who wanted to marry an Elven Emerald Knight was the first death that triggered the conflicts. Elandrin, the Emerald Knight who cared little about the elven gods as well as the maker since both were equally silent, was going to convert himself to marry her, doing all this at the back of his Knight fellows. The rest of the Emerald Knight thought he betrayed him, and wanted to bring him justice. When they went to the borders of the Red Crossing, they found the human woman approaching them with “something in her hand”, and they killed her on spot. She was carrying a letter and daisies. Even though the codex’s author is unknown, this song was clearly based on Adalene from the perspective of Elandrin. So this song is quite fitting for all the books and pieces of information we are collecting along the library.

All these fragments of books give us an idea of someone who is looking for solutions related to Magic, more precisely what to do with a mage child, while struggling with their relationship with the Chantry and what the Chantry says. The conflict is so deep that there may be even a questioning of the existence of gods themselves.

Design-wise, the chateau is filled with Andrastian iconography.

More codices and notes are triggered along the mansion, finding An Apology (to Colette). It seems that some guests in this chateau left in a rush without even saying goodbye, and only wrote a letter as an apology. Considering the cotext, the writer’s husband may have been scared with demon activity due to the presence of this mage child in the chateau and they left in the night.

Small details of patterns: the floors of the chateau have these square patterns and some flower-like versions made of swirls. I think this pattern can be considered inspired on the elven pattern of circular flowers. Even thought they are different, the elven influence in Orlesian design is unmistakable.

The garden is decorated with andraste statues, lion heads, and elaborated details. The shape of the doors and windows seems to be very eluvian-esque. Another influence of the Elvhenan design into the Orlesian style.

After collecting all the codices of A Torn Diary we can understand a bit better the note A Cook's Diary, in which the cook says it's too late for her, wishing to save another younger servant. This teenager mage may have done something to the cook.

As decoration we find some dog statues, due to the style, and their presence in Empire du Lion, we can guess they are typical Orlesian. It’s ironic because they are a stylised dog, in contrast with the rough mabari of the south.

By the end of the exploration we find Lord D'Onterre's Journal, where we can read that the Templars have been bribed by Lord D’Onterre to ignore his mage child. In fact, thanks to this codex, we can imagine this situation a bit like Connor’s in DAO: A noble family has a child mage and hide it, using some shady contacts to try to keep a low profile. In D’Onterre’s case, a templar and a mage came to his Chateau, the mage probably had the funcion to control the demon that was pestering the child. Whatever this mage did, it was not enough.

Lord D’Onterre asked the templar to silence the mage once they returned to the circle, and even though it’s not clear if the Templar did it or not, it’s obvious that since that moment on the templar has been extorting Lord D’Onterre. As a solution the noble thinks that keeping his child inside the house will be enough to protect the name of the family.

Cole triggers nice lines about faith and how these Dragon Age gods work.

So the less He does, the more He’s real. But Old Gods, Archdemons, the more they do, the less they’re gods.

The more absent The Maker is, the more real he is for people, while the others gods, like the old gods, or the archdemon, they become less the more they do. They are powerful but mortal creatures. The obvious link to the Evanuris is clear too. Another calling to the players, I think.

When we try our way to the balcony, we find a piece of paper at the tail of a stuffed/fake dragon. It seems that the mage teenager ended up killing everyone in the house and writes a shakily note, claiming that the "balcony" won't be of use and she can't trust her own thoughts. The demon influence is powerful. "They lied" probably is related to the box, which have been considered a potential solution.

What we find in the balcony is an elven box emanating magic. Cole perceives anger, and once we activate this box, an Arcane horror appears [they are the result of demons possessing mostly mages]

summer reading/writing/arting tag

1) Describe one creative WIP you plan on working on over the summer.

Of course, even though I have many ideas in mind (a one piece/crossover fic, an oblivion fanfic and a story about an AU me and my friend @zombinafonfrankenstein came up with) I'm going to continue writing Dark! I'm giving it my all because my goal is to publish it and see it on shelves!!! But for now the english version is available on ao3 (it is updated a bit irregularly because of life and other stuff, but some friends said that it's good nonetheless)

A description of it? Magic amnesiac guy and friends travel across the Afterlife to retrieve books and save the universe from some kind of eldritch creature. It sounds like pure crack and in some way it is. It's also brutal.

2) Recommend a book!

Oh, this is a tough one! But if y'all haven't done it yet, go read The Book Thief. That story changed my life, and it made me cry so much. I loved Liesel and Max's friendship, and also Rudy... He was best boy. And Hans deserves the title of best father ever. Oh god I'm crying again, it's been years since I last read it and it's still a fresh wound! A masterpiece.

3) Recommend a fic!

Another tough one, since there's so many fics I'd like to share! I can't name less than five though, because I absolutely adore them and I wish people of the respective fandoms would read them. Sorry.

Honor bound by penwarrior11 (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion) (this one is part of a series and it is the first fic of it. It follows the story of the game alright, but I love the scenes with Mara and Martin, and also Baurus. A precious little gem.)

Everything by nonman (Half Life: Alyx) (this one began in 2021 and proceeded slowly, as of now I'm waiting for the last chapter but guys, it is great! It gives continuation of the cliffhanger at the end of HL:A and it is written masterfully)

No more dreaming of the dead by @mina-murray-harker (Re-Animator 1985) (I love the style of this one, safe and disturbing and full of movie and music references. I think the Re-Animator fandom would love it to bits just as yours truly does)

Candlelight by @clichejoe (Encanto) (this is still my comfort fic and it is very beautiful, colorful - and the main character is the most lovable oddball researcher ever)

The fear of the ocean by FishingLure (JoJo's bizarre adventure) (this one emotionally scarred me - it's been two years and I still haven't recovered)

4) Recommend music!

Pat Metheny Group's discography. But also Seventeen's discography... No, I have to choose a single song. I must choose a single song or else I'll be here all night! Alright, here we go: Haru No Maboroshi by Superfly. It sounds like a sunset. I used to listen to it when I ended uni lessons late in the afternoon, it gives me a comforting feeling and restores my spirit a bit.

5) Share one piece of advice!

Hmmm, I'd say to never forget yourself. Other people may leave, but yourself is the only one who will never leave you. Some people might see this as insensitive wording, but I truly mean this with all my heart. There's time to be spent in introspection, there's love to be found in ourselves, for ourselves. There's a certain kind of healing that can only occur when you are with yourself. Also, to everyone reading this, regardless of shape color gender and preferences regarding tea - tell people who are dear to you how much you love them and hug them. Spread good stuff, hugs are the best drug - and they're free!!

Liesel had lived a good life. She’d been having some trouble before Robyn had gone on her jungle adventure, but she didn’t think the dog would pass before she could make it home. Catarina had been dogsitting and felt genuinely awful, but Robyn assured her it was nothing she did. Liesel had just been getting on in years.

She’d been a good companion, a good pup and Robyn was going to miss her dearly. Not to mention, now the house was completely empty. She didn’t know what she was going to do without a dog companion to take out on walks. The thought occurred to her that she could get another one, but she just didn’t think she was ready yet.

Reading update:

What can I say that I haven’t already said about this trilogy? I loved the conclusion. I loved the casual queerness, I loved the politics of the world, I loved El and Liesel and Aad. I don’t want to spoil anything because there was a pretty excellent OH SHIT moment.

This was a weird read because I loved the characters and the premise. The beginning was great. But the middle just dragged a bit. I think I still rated it like 4.75 stars because I was able to forgive the draggy middle. Unfortunately I spoiled myself about the big twist, but tbh I had kind of wondered if that’s where it was going. Good read, excited for the second one. I actually almost moved it up in my TBR pile but decided I should probably read the literature that was next in the pile...

And okay you know what, this book was incredible. Gorgeous, aching, gutting. The intersection of immigration, the opioid crisis, and queerness was beautifully portrayed. Should be required reading.

This is one of those romances that was just...fine. I do like the small town romance trope, and I enjoyed the second book in this series well enough (The Beautiful Things Shoppe). In some ways I probably preferred this one. My main complaints are, 1. Stover’s prose, and particularly his dialogue, feels stilted most of the time, and 2. this book contained the worst description of an orgasm I have ever read in my entire life.

Currently reading:

SFF short story collection with queer characters. Pretty much every story has been very good. I just read Tamsyn Muir’s contribution.

ADJF;AKJFK;AJDF;AKDFKDAJ;F can I marry a book? Is that possible? Can I marry this book? Look, I loved Winter’s Orbit—I’ve recommended it to pretty much everyone I know who I think might even vaguely be interested in it—but I think I might love Ocean’s Echo even more. I LOVE Tennal. I LOVE Surit. I love their just barely budding relationship (I just finished part 1). This book is SO FUNNY too. How is it fair that it has great world building, wonderful characters, emotional depth, and it’s funny? Everina Maxwell is my hero.

I’m actually trying to savor this one instead of racing through it. We’ll see how well I do with that.

Dieser Post ist mir eine Herzensangelegenheit. Es geht hier einmal mehr um das Spiel Stardew Valley. Es ist mein absolutes Lieblingsspiel und vor Kurzem hatte es sein 8. Jubiläum. Das - und der Umstand, dass das Update 1.6 fast da ist - macht mich super emotional über dieses Spiel.

Eric Barone aka ConcernedApe aka der Entwickler von Stardew Valley hatte das Ganze auch schön auf Twitter verfasst. Darunter schrieben viele Menschen ihre ganz persönliche Liebe zu diesem Spiel und ihre Geschichte damit und das hier ist meine.

Ich freue mich unglaublich über dieses Update, weil Stardew Valley für mich auch unendlich viel bedeutet. Ich habe natürlich von Stardew Valley gehört, als es released wurde und auch, dass es absolut großartig war. Einfach jeder sprach positiv von diesem Spiel und das hat sich bis heute einfach nicht geändert. Und natürlich wollte ich es damals schon spielen, aber ich dachte damals tatsächlich, dass mein Laptop bzw. PC das Spiel nicht starten könnte, da ich ja nicht die neueste Technik hatte. Also wartete ich auf den Switch-Release, der dann ja auch kam.

Aufgrund von einigen anderen Spielen, die damals für die Switch erschienen sind, habe ich mich dann Ende 2018 dazu entschieden, mir eine Switch von meinem Weihnachtsgeld zu kaufen. Stardew Valley war damals wohl eines der ersten Spiele, die ich mir für meine Switch gekauft habe. Für mich kam das Spiel genau zur richtigen Zeit. Ich war damals schwer depressiv und fühlte mich innerlich unglaublich leer. Stardew Valley hat diese Leere in dem Moment ausgefüllt und ich konnte durch dieses Spiel das erste Mal seit Monaten wieder lächeln, was einfach ein unglaublich schönes Gefühl war. Die Geschichten der einzelnen Charaktere in diesem Spiel haben mich total berührt und ich spürte die Liebe, die Eric Barone für dieses Spiel hatte, einfach in jedem kleinsten Winkel.

Eric Barone hat Stardew Valley (zumindest die Grundversion davon, die späteren Patches hatte er dann Hilfe) komplett alleine entwickelt. Er hat die Musik alleine gemacht, das Spiel programmiert, Bugs behoben, hat alles selbst designed, hat jeden Dialog selbst geschrieben - einfach alles. Und mit jeder Spielstunde, die ich in diesem Spiel mehr versenkte, bewunderte ich ihn mehr. Er hat mit Stardew Valley etwas absolut Großartiges erschaffen und mit jedem Update kommt neuer Content hinzu - dabei sind diese Updates auch völlig kostenlos! -, was halt heutzutage einfach nicht mehr so gehandhabt wird. Heute werden Spiele halbgar released und wenn man Glück hat, dann behebt der Entwickler ein paar Bugs (was aber in den meisten Fällen nicht passiert) und Updates oder neuer Content? Dafür muss man dann sogar meist extra zahlen. Stardew Valley ist eine absolute Perle und auch wirklich eine große Ausnahme in der Gaming Industrie und mit ein Grund, weshalb dieses kleine Spiel so unfassbar erfolgreich ist. Mit dem Erfolg von Stardew Valley hat Eric Barone auch vielen Entwicklern damals den Mut gegeben, selbst ein Spiel zu entwickeln - und das ist absolut großartig.

Im Spiel habe ich dann Haley geheiratet. Ich hatte anfangs Interesse an ihr, weil sie mich mit ihren blonden Haaren und blauen Augen einfach an Liesel erinnerte. Als ich Haley dann näher kennen lernte, habe ich mich in sie verliebt. Zuerst wirkt sie wie eine arrogante und oberflächliche Tussi, aber je näher man sie kennen lernte, desto mehr wandelte sich diese Meinung. Sie zeigte Seiten an sich, die sie verletzlich wirken ließen und auch wenn es im Originalspiel nie so direkt angesprochen wird, merkt man, dass sie Angst davor hat, verlassen zu werden, und deshalb ihre Mauern so hoch gezogen hat. Ihre Eltern haben sie und ihre Schwester einfach alleine gelassen und sind dann zusammen auf große Weltreise gegangen, was in Haley natürlich auch einiges ausgelöst hat. Und solche Geschichten hat einfach jeder Stardew Valley-Charakter. Shane ist zum Beispiel ein Alkoholiker und man erfährt dann ein wenig von seinen Hintergründen und man fängt wirklich an, mit diesen Charakteren mitzufühlen. Man erlebt einfach, dass jeder Charakter sein Päckchen zu tragen hat; alle sich auch irgendwo ein Stück weit verloren fühlen und sie es dann schaffen, mit ihrer Geschichte einen Umgang zu finden bzw. diese Hindernisse zu überwinden und das zu sehen, geht einem ans Herz. Und genau das macht Stardew Valley auch so unfassbar gut.

Das Spiel hat auch eine unglaublich lebendige Mod-Community, die das Spiel - bis heute! - am Leben hält. Es ist unglaublich, was es für tolle Mods da draußen gibt und einige werten das Spiel so sehr auf, dass sie das Spiel erweitern; zu einem neuen Erlebnis machen, obwohl man das Originalspiel schon in- und auswendig kennt. Eines dieser Mods ist Stardew Valley Expanded und mit dieser Mod habe ich bis heute Spaß an meinem geliebten Stardew Valley.

Ich bin FlashShifter so unendlich dankbar, dass er diese Mod erschaffen hat, weil er die Vision hatte, den Spielern noch einmal das Gefühl zu geben: "Man spielt Stardew Valley von Neuem." Und das hat er auch geschafft. Ich freue mich wahnsinnig auf die Inhalte von SVE 2.0 - auch wenn es noch ziemlich lange dauern wird, bis das kommen wird - aber der Teaser auf Castle Village war auch einfach zu gut. Bis heute liefern Eric Barone mit seinem Originalspiel und FlashShifter mit Expanded immer wieder neuen Content nach, weshalb Stardew Valley einfach nie langweilig wird. Und dafür bin ich unendlich dankbar, denn das Spiel hat mich einmal durch eine unfassbar schwere Zeit getragen und die Zeit, die ich damals mit Stardew Valley hatte, als ich es zum ersten Mal spielte, werde ich nie vergessen. Es hat für mich einen ganz besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen. Und der Erfolg, den Eric Barone mit Stardew Valley hat, ist wirklich absolut verdient. <3

With this update, iPhone users are able to multitask on their phones while talking to their loved ones. Before this update, if you wanted to open another tab on the iPhone, your camera on FaceTime would pause and the person on the other line would be unable to see your face. Now, you’re able to watch a video, play a game, peruse social media, or text your other friends all while staying visible on FaceTime. When you’re using picture in picture, the image of the friend/family member you’re calling will appear in a small box in the corner of your screen, so you can still see them while you’re talking. But, if the box is covering whatever you’re trying to look at, you can also swipe it away. The picture in picture advancement on the iPhone was revolutionary to Apple lovers who engage in lots of FaceTime calls, but were finding it hard to use the rest of the phone’s features. #ShannonCyr

It's a sentiment Khan can relate to - very much so, actually. Despite them both being assigned to official work hours - which means that, at some point, they're allowed to leave and do whatever they want until the next shift starts - they often end up continuing to work for longer anyway.

So, when Liesel's words leave her lips, being spoken into the silence of their surroundings, Khan does not even try to get her away from whatever she's focusing on; He turns around instead, leaves for a moment, only to reappear with a cup of coffee which he sets down gingerly in front of her.

"Just know your limits.", is what he gives as an answer then, spoken as a well-meant advice. "And listen to your needs once said limits are reached."

Khan should tell himself such more often, something within his mind chirps - he blinks the thought away, then turns once more while pulling out his own data-padd.

There's still some research left that needs to be dealt with; The sooner he comes to a conclusion, the quicker he can offer new insight regarding possible software-updates regarding the Enterprise.
