Thinking about the fact the Belarus canonically stayed with America for a few years. Thinking about Ukraine and Canada's relationship. Just... can you imagine more diametrically opposed relationships?

Nat and Alfred are stubborn as mules and she can be such a misery and he can be so bitchy it would just be an absolute firecracker of a relationship versus Matt and Katya where maybe they're both a bit more melancholic but they also can be equally stubborn.

Just... thinking about sisters and brothers. Katya is a naturally more hopeful person than her sister. Alfred is the same against his brother. In some ways Kat was luckier with who she met and loved and spent time with. In some ways Nat's story is sadder (for now), but maybe she still... Hmm.

Every once in a while I remember when I was working with a classmate through some math stuff and when I turned my computer around she was like dear lord and I forgot everything I use is on dark mode on the lowest brightness and I set my screen so it never shows pure white so when I turned my computer around it was essentially just a black screen
