Dear means 'valued; precious; beloved'. However, in certain expressions it also means 'expensive', such as in to cost dear. I'm wondering how regional accents apply to the dirty talk poll. Do French speakers think certain French accents sound sexier than others?

probably! being dutch, even if i don't like dutch dirty talk, i feel like dirty talk in a limburgian accent would elicit a different reaction than a frisian accent. my guess is that generally people will tend to prefer accents with softer, more melodic sounds over more nasal and "harsh" sounds, as well as preferring accents from affluent regions and accents well represented in media over accents from poorer or more agrarian regions. i think that's a general trend tho, dirty talk or not, and definitely rooted in classism. i would make a poll but there's no way i can include enough options for that lol

Tatlin Tower cake

13 December 2020 Russia will celebrate the anniversary - 100 years of birth of constructivism. “For the first time not from France, and from Russia came a new word of art - constructivism!»Wrote In. Mayakovsky. The most iconic symbol of constructivism, the Tatlin Tower.

For the first time in 100 years Master-Confectioner Aldis Brichevs in Moscow embodied and created the cake "Tatlin Tower" from photographs 1919 of the year. The diameter of the cake was 120 cm., and the height 150 cm. The production of a unique confectionery masterpiece required : 10 kg. fine sugar, 35 kg. powdered sugar, 3 kg. sugar syrup, 2l. vodka, 3 kg. starch. Cake decorated 350 flowers from sugar china and 350 fragments of sugar lace.

Aldis Brichevs from Riga is a classic representative of the "top class of confectioners". He is the "chocolate magician", "King of confectioners". They call him the king of chocolate, virtuoso and wizard . Aldis , like a magician, with your talent , creates masterpieces. I'm an age regresser and I have an amazing cg. I really want to think of something to call him when I'm small but I can't think of anything. My first impulse is 'daddy' but that's what I call my dad (never grew out of it...) and it might start to feel weird. I'm also considering 'Dada' and 'Papi' bit I can't seem to find anything. Any suggestions?

In this case, I sometimes like to use names from other languages that feel right. There are some really cute ones! A few I like: Abba (Hebrew), Babbo (Italian), Vader (Limburgian), Tatti (Yiddish). There are lots to pick from, though!

tough question. Usually cake, if it’s nicely decorated or like chocolate. But also if it’s limburgian pie: that. Preferably cherry (seriously proper limburgian pie is the best thing you will ever have)

Books: Setting the Tone

This thesis provides a cross-linguistic investigation into the developmental perception and lexical representation of word-level pitch differences. The focus is on Limburgian dialects of Dutch, a group of closely related restricted tone languages spoken in the south of the Netherlands. like, don't get me wrong, self-care is fine but not if it affects other people's experiences. this is a multi-person hobby.

okay friend i am going to reply to this and publish this ask because i’m going to start the conversation on this, rather than sweeping it underneath the rug and turning anon off. so, here is the deal, the truth, the fact to which it all boils down. THAT POST WAS A JOKE. it was a crack at my own skills when it comes to writing, it was me being aware that i make grammar mistakes and that my english sometimes comes across as butchered. and you know why this is? because i am fluent in three languages, five when you count flemish and limburgian ( polls are still out if those count as official languages but u know ) and english is the third language i ever learned and for the record i learned it myself with determination and tumblr rp.

i do not purposely make grammar mistakes, i do not purposely mix up words and spelling ( anyone who has ever talked to me or written with me knows that i cannot for the life of me remember if it is union or onion and that is fine ) i have from day one been very open with the fact that english isn’t my first language, i have from day one been very open with the fact that i make mistakes and that people are more than welcome to correct me. but you know what else i hope i have been very open with from day one ? respectful and open communication. and truth be told, i feel like you’re attacking me right now based on an assumption that you made with a crack ooc post that i made. a post which was in its core intended to poke fun at myself and my own limitations.

to assume that everyone here is a native english speaker is wrong. and the notion that all writers in this community do not struggle with issues such as dyslexia is equally wrong. i can only speak for myself that i do, indeed, proofread every reply before i hit publish, but u know what. people make mistakes and like you said this is a hobby, and i personally think it wasn’t very cash money of you fam to attack me over a joke post i made.
