Also putting this under a read more cause it’s loooooooooong.

Johanna is very, very artistic, like she loves to paint and is a skilled sketcher. She had a gift for it as a human but of course being a vampire with endless time on her hands she's been able to perfect her skill. Her bedroom walls are often covered with her paintings and drawings and little sketches. Sometimes she likes to help Esme out too in her study when she does architecture.

I also like to think that Johanna is fluent in a few languages. Which languages I’m not too sure yet (definitely spanish though from her time spent with Maria), but I just think it’s something easily achievable given her endless free time with her immortality, as well as her heightened vampire mind (more so that a vampire is able to recall perfectly). Plus Johanna loves to read too, so there’s that aspect to it as well.  

How dangerous it would be for Johanna to use her gift on Aro. Like sure she'd be able to see over 2000 years worth of history from Aro but she'd also be able to see him killing his own sister to keep Marcus from leaving the Volturi and then lying about it. And Aro would see that she saw since he would be able to see in her thoughts (since both their gifts require physical contact to work). I just wonder what if Aro wanted to silence (aka, kill💀) Johanna so she doesn't expose him.

I know I make a lot of posts about this, but I've never had the chance to ramble to someone in depth about it, but definitely Johanna's whole relationship with Jasper. Like their bond really is completely different from the entire Cullen family because they ARE biologically family: they were raised together as humans and knew each other then, and loved each other as humans and then when they both turned their sibling bond was just as strong as ever (possibly even stronger if you take into account a vampires heightened emotions). Also I fully headcanon from Jasper's quote "In so many years of slaughter and carnage, I'd lost nearly all of my humanity" that the reason why Jasper hadn't lost all sense of his humanity is because of Johanna being with him: she's his last and final grasp on whatevers left of his humanity because she is from his humanity (human life).

Johanna almost never hunts alone because she's far more prone to slipping and having an accidental kill if someone's not there to stop her. Emmett does make a game of it for her as both she and him like to "play with their food" instead of just killing the animal quickly by snapping their neck and then feeding on them. Then with Carlisle and Esme, when Johanna hunts with them the trio are often seen walking through the forest (back up to the house) hand-in-hand with Johanna in the middle and a mess of blood and crimson curls.

Johanna and Carlisle are the only people out of the Cullen's who became a vampire from being attacked by a vampire who tried to eat them. Meanwhile the rest of the Cullens (even Alice and Jasper) became vampires from being bitten by a vampire who intended to turn them.

Johanna is super clingy to Jasper. She's always hiding behind him when she's scared or holding tightly onto his hand (which is always immediately open and ready to take hold of hers without a word). And she's also very prone to just settling herself into his side or even in his lap when Jasper's watching the TV or trying to peacefully read a book. Yet she also has her moments when she's very irritated at him because he's overprotective or does any annoying big brother stuff. She's basically a cat who only wants attention when she wants it.

Also to follow up on that I totally headcanon Johanna frowning up at Jasper with the cutest pout because she's annoyed at him and him using his empathy to make her smile/laugh. Which clearly is working cause her lips are twitching like she's trying to fight it back and she scowls even harder. But Jasper just smirks at his baby sister cause he knows what's up.

I wonder a lot if Alice had seen Johanna in her visions too when she saw Jasper and herself together. Cause it makes the scenario of when Alice finally meets Jasper play out in sooooo many different ways with Johanna there (least in terms of how Alice might respond to Johanna). Also their time spent together - Alice, Jasper and Johanna - prior to finally arriving at the Cullens. I need me Alice and Johanna bonding stuff during this period!

Also Johanna's gift of seeing ones entire past with a single touch means that Johanna will be able to help Alice remember her own past. I find it very interesting too that Alice's gift allows her to have visions of the future while Johanna's gift gives her visions of the past. I headcanon it that when Jasper, Alice and Johanna all left in breaking dawn to find other hybrids Johanna's gift was used a lot to help narrow down the search.

I also gotta expand on Johanna's relationship with Maria cause she spent a century with her and the two went on sooo many killing sprees together, sometimes even going as far as to finish off whole families when they feed. I've always seen that Maria looks after Johanna while Jasper is busy handling the newborns (whether training them or fighting in vampire wars). Like Maria wanted to make sure she still had Jasper's trust so she offers to take care of Johanna when he's busy and she does keep her word about it: Johanna is always safe with Maria and looked after and well fed. But even so, I see Johanna as always being a little intimidated of Maria. Like there was always something about her that didn't sit right, maybe even scared her. But even so Johanna is always super polite to Maria and always refers to her as "Ms.Maria".

Also Johanna's lack of control around human blood stems very greatly from how she spent a century living in a very bloodthirsty coven with Maria. Johanna was never ever taught self control or told "no" by Maria whenever she expressed her hunger. Instead she was always encouraged to feed as much as she wanted, but Johanna always hated it because of the countless people she'd be killing. It got to the point where Maria would even use these hunting sprees they'd share together to try to "cure" Johanna of her compassion and humanity towards human life.

Anyhow with the animal diet, Johanna does try her very hardest to stick with it with the Cullen family because she does like that she doesn't have to kill humans anymore, but it's still a great struggle for her. She's very prone to slipping. It's basically a completely different lifestyle for her not only with the change in diet, but also after a century of Maria always encouraging her to eat people when she's hungry, now Johanna has an adopted mother and father telling her "no" she can't eat that human even if they smell good. It's a much better situation for her to be in, and as stated Johanna loves that she doesn't have to kill humans anymore, but she is prone to grumbling that animals don't taste as good as human blood.

If Jasper didn't slip and try to attack Bella when she cut her finger at her 18th birthday, then Johanna would have instead. Her self control is just as limited as Jasper's (though they have individual reasons as to why they struggle so much), and smelling Bella's blood did make Johanna hungry to the point where she was already envisioning herself tasting the blood on Bella's finger, however it was the shock of Jasper lunging at Bella first that distracted Johanna from her own bloodlust.

Johanna misses the Texas warmth and being able to enjoy the sun freely. She always has to be careful of humans around her as to not risk exposing her secret of being a vampire. Also, it's overall a lot different sensation basking in the sun's warmth as a human compared to a vampire. Johanna misses the human sensations that she felt when enjoying a nice, warm summers day out. She also misses being able to ride horses or even just approach and pat a horse without it running away from her because it can sense she's a predator.

Johanna's attack/transformation. Legit I could cry forever about it. Just the thought of a tiny 5'1, 15 year old Johanna being attacked viciously by a newborn vampire that escaped an army where it was trained and "bred" for violence and war kills me inside. Like it must have been so terrifying for her. And then worst when the venom started to take affect and started to burn her from the inside out as it slowly turned her into a vampire. The poor girl probably thought she had died and gone to hell.

Also to linger off that headcanon, it makes me think a lot of Johanna's century spent with Maria's coven. Cause obviously Jasper would have REFUSED to let his little sister have any part with the newborns or training or wars. But would Johanna feel frightened of the newborns after nearly being killed by one? How would Jasper feel killing newborns (after their year was up) that looked a similar age to Johanna? What else did Maria and Johanna do other than go on feeding sprees together while Jasper was busy training the newborns? I have a lot of things I need to plot and expand about this era.

Johanna remembers a lot of her human life through seeing Jasper's memories with her gift. Of course it's not her past she's seeing when she uses her gift on him, but because they grew up together Johanna is able to see flashes of her human life from Jasper's past entangling with hers.

Also cause vampires have perfect memory recall, Johanna can also remember almost every person who's history's she's seen. She basically has thousands upon thousands (maybe even more) memories stored in her head that aren't her own. It's also why she's so compassionate towards human life cause every time she uses her gift on someone and sees what human life is she's reminded of it (especially when she touches Jasper and sees his human life in his past as well as her own).

✏️ Free Writing Prompt : Canach ends up buying the Consortium as an Ultimate Revenge. How does he go about it? Surprise takeover or tough negotiations?

Some said all lives were expendable to the Consortium. That was not entirely true. Otherwise they would have ended him after the South-sun fiasco as it was called by the higher executives of the company, rather than have him work blood, sweat and bribes to try and restore what was lost, hiring bounty hunters and hitmen on his own wages in hope to bring the head of the responsible for this mess to the board.

Constant loyalty and innovation, to gather new settlers, entice authorities to look past the company's shortcomings and nip in the bud the slightest sign of rebellion amongst their crews. First they complain, then they find loopholes and the next thing you know they're demanding fair exploitation conditions and riddling their workplace with explosive and dangerous wildlife!

It would take years, perhaps, but he would eventually get back into the good graces of his superior and get away from this gold-forsaken rock and its putrid low-tides.

And sure, almost a decade later and whereas the other branches experienced mediocre results after catastrophic failure – getting shipwrecked in Elona and utterly failing to gain the approval of the locals to the point it was an obscure company by the name 'Cactus Incorporated' that had to finance their trip back to Tyria – he had single-handedly managed to restore Southsun Cove to a somewhat financially stable enterprise. They expected their first positive results this year and projected a three hundred percent increase due to the ever-growing afflux of visitors from Cantha.

And now, despite the company's recent – but he was certain passing – difficulties, finally, the board summoned him for what he gathered was a very important meeting.

Lion's Arch had remained the same through the years – excepted for its seemingly regularly scheduled cataclysmic destruction – and the Consortium's Office stood out, as a bridge between the old and new architecture of the city – high walls of bright concrete, and strong wooden beams ornate with maritime motifs and banners of gold and blue floating in the wind – a design meant to be familiar and draw as many interns and customers as possible.

On this particular morning, the building certainly served its purpose as a little crowd gathered in the street, all eyes turned to the construction workers tending to the signs and banners on the front, removing their signature gold and blue, employees and interns alike outed of their office and given leeway for the rest of the day.

“I hear they're planning massive changes to the building. Repairs and restructuring.”

“Well, that means at least a few days leave.”

“Perhaps the new director will consider paid-leave?”

That last strand of information made Noll's ears stand on end.

So the rumours were true. The Consortium was experiencing a change of management. As for the reason he had been called, on this particular occasion, he could only expect other sub-directors would be just as on edge as he was. An edge that sharpened to an uncomfortable threat when he realised the reunion was over, a procession of gold and blue robed executives leaving the room.

“Sub-director Noll.”, a falsely polished voice welcomed him.

Seated at the table, presiding over the highest authorities of the Consortium, flaunting an expensive suit and a polite smile to mask his true nature, was the person he had spent the last decade hunting in hope to have the head of – nothing attached – delivered to this very board.

“What is that terrorist doing here?”, the asura spat, ten years worth of venom spilling between his clenched teeth.

“It is customary, I believe, for the chief executive officer to be present at their company's merger.”, the cactus replied. “Our previous collaborations have always been dealt under the seal of secrecy, through the intervention of middlemen and legal representative”, he carried on, replacing a bundle of letterhead paper, bearing a somewhat familiar emblem and in golden letters the words 'Cactus Inc.', “but it felt appropriate to step into the light on this, the day The Consortium is no more. A proper way to introduce my employees to their new management.”

“And you summoned me to exact your vengeance.”

The sylvari leaned back in his chair, his stance relaxed and unthreatening but his eyes never once leaving the Subdirector's.

“You know I would. But someone I hold dear has convinced me to let go of old grudges.”, he added, casting a glance towards the easternmost window, where a sylvari Noll had completely failed to notice, ashen of bark and golden of leaves, almost invisible against the too bright morning sky, leaned against the ledge.

“Then you are a fool.”, Noll rebuked, crossing his arms and puffing his chest as to make himself bigger. “The sole reason my men did not bring your head to this board sooner is because you cleverly fled the continent. The mesmer flicked his wrist, and with a haze of stellar gold and blood stone purple, the waves of sunlight crashing on the office faded, leaving in their stead a more natural blue sky and the shadow of a woman in a loose blue shirt and the highest position of power in the Arch.

“Remind me again, the sentence for planning, aiding and abetting an assassination...”

The sylvari leaned back in his chair, with an ineffable expression. Something Noll never believed this constant sneer of superiority and thorny features would be able to convey. Peace.
