i finished it and im not any less confused but i think ultimately its like. sometimes u come across characterization where ppl r like galo and lio should not be together Yet they should go to therapy for a long time b4 they can b together bcuz thats healthier, and u get where theyre coming from as fellow traumatized ppl but ur also like well that was MY thought process but if i had stressed too much abt me being Unlovable and Too Much for ppl i would never have gotten better With my partner. not completely better or something obviously but it DOES help and sometimes its not rly as useful as u think it is to just be like well im too fucked up right now i cant take someone down with me. cuz ppl want to help you, bcuz u want to help other ppl even if u feel like u cant do a Lot right now bcuz ur doing too bad, and relationships when ur both traumatized and struggling w mental health can be rough sometimes but its just how it goes and its worth putting the work in. i think sometimes also ppl write galo and lio as dealing w their trauma in ways that just dont mesh very well and they Do need to put some work in b4 theyre ready 4 a relationship which again i think is fair im not against it its just not suuuper how i write them. i do think they need to put work in but i dont think they have to be totally separated for that

#anyway i think it was one of those kinda things but it was a little confusing howit was implemented #galo was never mentioned by name he wasnt In the fic it was a madburnish fic but i was sitting there thinking emoji abt meis's thoughts abt #him and lios relationship w him n stuff. curious. but i do like reading fics by ppl who actually know what theyre doing #and theyre writing like interesting traumatized adult relationships even if u wouldnt go the same way w ur writing of them #i respect dif interpretations and writing w stuff when ppl r fucking normal and just like traumatized gay dudes writing our own ideas abt #how it goes
