WHAT IF the final 2 in PPT2 was Treasure Chest and a Bracket (like Chainsaw)??

It would be a parallel to the relationship between the final 2 last season.

Also very very tense. The Bracket Trio has fought so hard to not get a low ranking last season. Even if it meant playing dirty to do so. Chainsaw is the most passionate of the group about NOT wanting to be eliminated.

Treasure Chest on the other hand has tried so hard to maintain a team, only for it to fall apart in the end. Team 47 winning streak caused a domino effect leading to team's downfall. The only person on Treasure Chest's side now is Cup. To try so much, lose so much and yet make it so far...

And now he has to face one of his defected teammates to get the million.

dad called me out of the blue to insist I read an article he just sent me. the article, which actually turned out to be a blog post, is about how antidepressants and such are a scam and basically a conspiracy to “stop overpopulation”, whatever that means. he then proceeded to tell me that my cheeks look rounder than usual, and upon seeing that part of my meal was potatoes (I was eating breakfast when he called), went off on a rant about how of course I’m gaining weight.

What are your thoughts on mal from shadow and bone?

Depends on whether you're talking about the book or the show, because show!mal is better than the book!mal, as most of the fandom agrees- I guess I'm answering both

Book!mal, while very not perfect, I don't exactly ship malina but I still prefer it over d*rklina, is still...okay? I wasn't exactly invested in his character on the first read, since there didn't really seem to be anything remarkable about his character, and how he wanted alina to give up her powers to live a quiet life with him (god forbid women do anything! literally), and he felt kind of...petty? Also kind of possesive over alina (I forget a bit, it's been a while since I read the og trilogy). And since we only get it from alina's pov we can't see mal in any other way than the way alina sees him (her childhood friend/crush, trying to justify his actions, etc)

Show!mal is better since it's not just in alina's pov, and they did a few things with his character (off topic but I wish they had done the same with zoya, because she had a chance for a better depiction outside of alina's pov, like what we got in the kos duology, but they didn't take it up sadly), and I feel like he's a bit less possessive so far (but that vibe only came when I was reading s&s, so we'll see), also I feel like his motives aren't just "alina alina alina". Honestly I think that the best thing they did with him in the show is cutting out the part where he arrives at the little palace with the tracker party and making him all salty about seeing alina with the d*rkling, that part just really bugged me about how he treated her
