finally finished. no animals were harmed. I shot the videofootage during the daily walk with the dog. the robot was modeled in zbrush, then it was rigged and animated in maya. Hey!! This is my first assignment of the quarter in my Animation class! We are learning about dialogue and lip syncing. In this assignment, we focused on basically the bottom half of the face. This is one of my first times doing lip animation and I am honestly very proud of myself! Of course there are a couple errors, but I am improving! 🙃

Here you can see the first modelling. At first I wanted to put metal balls on ropes and make them swing until they hit each other but it turned out to be a little difficult. Also, the outcome with ropes hasn’t look very good and realistic so I changed the scenery and made balls turn towards each other.
