moments from D20 FHSY Fearful Symmetry that made me feel way too much

this whole episode just reminded me over and over how i am just so affected by how much the bad kids love each other and would do so much for each other

the shattered stone kristen is holding has her friend's faces on it

adaine saying she's glad they're doing this together right before they know they'll have to make their way through the forest alone

fabian taking off his eye patch that he got from his father in order to not be immune to fear and get through the forest to save kristen

"it's gorgug, keep going" and how it reverberates to the rest of the bad kids, and this happens every time one of them faces their fear. one of them succeeding in their ordeal gives strength to the entire party

nightmare!adaine mourning her friends, dressing in all black as a widow, because they've all passed on before her

"it's scarier to keep fighting than it is to give up"

"the attachment and potential of loss is scarier than not feeling anything at all"

ahhhh adaine wondering if she has a trait that makes it easy for people to discard her, to not love her

this is absolutely my favorite episode of this season

another L for losing cultural flavor/linguistic flair in subtitling/tl. this gets the point across sure, but the original says "otherwise, next year on this day, will be your memorial (TN: the anniversary of your death)," which admittedly doesn't get the point across in English as concisely, but like. man this does sound kinda cool in CN lmao. cuz he doesn't just say hes gonna kill you (how crass), he will make today your death memorial (忌日).

These days I decided to do a rewatch of two of the anime that most remind me of my childhood/adolescence: Magical angel Creamy Mami and Aishite Knight (for Italian audience, L'incantevole Creamy and Kiss me Licia). This was really needed after seeing things one more tragic than the other 😅

I wanted to watch them with the original dub, but in all honesty I'm just too attached to the italian one; also I checked and apparently it's pretty close to the japanese one so...

And, come on, Juliano is just so much better in italian, all his scenes are way much funnier 🤣

Okay but I was in Paris for the first time ever like a couple of months ago and I feel it increased my viewing experience of Lupin Season 3 soo much. Like watching it and recognizing nearly all the locations was sooo fun.
