It’s WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY! I rarely voice my challenges with personal matters but I’m just tired of being criticized for situations that happen because I’m menopausal- …like for instance, profuse sweating in the middle of a meeting or during a meal due to hot flashes. Another good one that makes me lose all faith in humanity is being labeled less of a woman because I don’t have children (not by choice) and being menopausal for 2 years now, I’ve struggled with making peace about not having been able to have children, even after trying so many “solutions” that never worked. MENOPAUSE IS A BITCH! And I empathize with women struggling through it. I’m not certain why it’s not talked about more but today I dare! And I want to say to all those who have labeled me as “not fully a woman” to look in the mirror first before bullying women like me.
