Absolutely. I always thought they were heading for remarriage - because having a non traumatic wedding probably would mean a lot for them.

It was beautifully hinted when Khushi spoke about her dream wedding to Preeto that the trauma of the forced wedding shattered a lot of dreams. And Arnav was unable to sleep that night when he heard her lies to Amma.

So given the characters, I do think they would’ve gone for a more respectful and beautiful marriage regardless of Dadi.

Tbh I expected something more sentimental for the remarriage, not the “hey I’m a hero and I’m gonna protect my wife izzat and marry her again - which btw is happening again without a proper conversation” or a “hey we got to do alllll the rituals cause Radha Krishna!”

I believe there was a lot of dissonance post marriage - there was too much swinging between comedy, intimacy and pain that at times it got indigestible.

I think Arnav truly desired Khushi to be his and his realization that Khushi has always been true restored his love and desire right back. There was a point where he would’ve loved her regardless (perhaps he did, hence the hate) but knowing that she even sacrificed herself to save him just unfolded his love for her. He always exerted his position as a husband to Khushi, post kidnapping that came from love rather than jealousy.

What’s sad is Khushi never saw this change. She’ll always be the girl whose heart was broken while Arnav went in time to the moment he wanted to confess and realizes there’s no need to because they are with each other.

I feel the normalizing was in bad taste. I don’t know what they were thinking when they got him to buy her house and threaten her with it :/ I felt with the couple we got, there should’ve been a gazebo sorry kinda moment. Heartfelt, genuine…

I do feel the need to rearrange a lot of the canon in my head cause they’re all epic scenes individually but not the best as a straight narrative :)

Also I think Arnav was supposed to truly win her back (not blackmail with property papers or lack of finance but idk I’m not the writer).
