I’m still angry that the bedrock edition, on all ports, has NO subtitles. No closed captioning, nothing. That is an exclusive feature to bedrock. 

Especially with the addition of the warden and all the very sound sensitive aspects that came along with the deep dark. 

Java players get the ability to see when a warden moves or sniffs or starts to attack. They get the ability to see if they’ve set off a distant sensor. Things that are so vital for this update. 

Bedrock players dont have subtitles at all, and somehow this isnt a priority for them to add? Bedrock has been out for ages. Java has had subtitles for ages. 

Arguably, with Bedrock platforms being consoles and phones, it’s harder to see or hear things and would need something like subtitles. 

But the fact that such a vital accessibility feature is continuously ignored on these ports of the game is absolutely insane, especially with how big of a userbase minecraft has.

Want to join a bedrock SMP? Come on in!

The LameSMP is a bedrock only server, run and owned by me, lame :D!

Currently, the SMP already has some members from previous worlds. However, we’re starting with a fresh, new world in the 1.20 update, starting on August 5th! New members will be accepted before and after this date.

The SMP has some past lore, but it’s not necessary to know it nor is it necessary to roleplay at all.

Some Rules & Guidelines 

Any age is allowed to join

Any timezone is allowed to join (most members are US and UK times)

Discord is required

Streaming is allowed, but not required

No griefing or destructive, or incredibly inconvenient pranks (Ex: Filling up another player’s house completely with water)

Bedtime SMP: looking for players

Welcome to Bedtime, a good Time for Bedrock!

Our latest Minecraft Bedrock SMP, hosted by myself and my friend and logo artist @johnnyhasanigloo is a laid-back community-focused survival realm. Bedtime is a peaceful place to vibe and chat together. Our SMP is a chill Minecraft experience with friends, in which players can more easily progress with the use of trading resources, building together, exploring in groups, and more! There will be planned events to complete together and different hubs to construct, all while being able to hang out in a voice chat if desired.

Simply put, Bedtime is a relaxing and casual Minecraft Bedrock adventure that can be experienced socially and with love.

The realm will be hosted for 10 players, though of course more interest is to be expected. Because of this, we will have a limit of 15 total members, meaning that not all people will be able to be on the realm at once at certain points. With Johnny and I as players, we will be accepting 13 people to join the realm.

For the comfort of all users, we have a preferred age range. Please be within 15-30 years old. Neither of us are minors, but have plenty of friends who are both younger and older than us. If you are not comfortable with this range of ages, this is not the server for you.

Like any server, we have rules. They are posted in our discord, which you will gain access to via a DMed link. You must be willing to respect our guidelines to continue your participation.

NGL my primary reluctance towards switching to Java from Bedrock (once I have the capabilities) is

A) I like being able to bonemeal all the flowers.

B) there is nothing like the serotonin gained from dropping a casual line about how many tridents you have in the discord and basking in everyone’s momentary awe and surprise before they remember you’re in Bedrock.

We have a (bedrock only) Minecraft SMP! It's called Voidfall and it's got PLENTY of chances for lore!

No, you don't need to stream. No, you don't need to publish vids/VODs). All that's asked is that if you do lore, record it and send it in the server/to us in DMs. That way, all lore can be preserved and written out in a Google Doc!

If you have a good PC, but can't afford a full version of bedrock MC with W10/11, here's what we did: -Install Bluestacks 5(It is 100% free, but it does take up a lot of storage - and if you're using a laptop instead of a desktop, you'll need to be sure to have something under it to prevent overheating) -Look up MCPE APK(1.18.30)

You will get a pop-up saying "this file could cause harm to your device."

Honestly, we've used APK MCPE since 2019-2020 and no harm has come to our devices because of it. Only harm to our devices came from Lunar being a very violent person- (example, roleplaying an insane character. or just being a very rage-y gamer-) If you're scared for your device, we recommend getting some protection. Like an anti-virus measure.

Bluestacks will NOT let you install any files it fears will cause genuine harm that an anti-virus measure cannot stop.

If one APK isn't working; uninstall Minecraft, delete the file entirely, and try a different one. We don't remember the exact one we used, because all the APKs label the files roughly the same name(:'D) but if you can find one that works - pog!

If you want to stream/record, we recommend OBS! But instead of "Game Capture" use "Window Capture" Not sure if it's just because we use a not-great laptop or if it's just because Bluestacks and OBS don't exactly work best together, but uh

"Game Capture" usually results in Bluestacks(or the entire computer) to crash.

Just encountered a nasty bug in Minecraft bedrock that I wanted to warn others of. I threw a trident with loyalty on it at a Ghast in the nether...aaaand it never came back. So until there's some news of a fix for tridents vanishing I don't think I'll use them in the nether anymore. Update: My wife made a new trident for me so I won't have to go hunting in the scary lava world. <3 Second Update: I should also add that some folks have suggested that the trident entity may still be in an unloaded chunk, so if this does happen to you, I'd suggest going in the direction you threw it (if possible) and seeing if it shows up.
