I'm holding out hope for ovas. Kyokos backstory is SO important and I'm bummed about losing komaki too. Her and tohrus sad connection and how ot affected kakeru really deepened the world and characters. We also only see that one side of kakeru (when he says the mean thing to tohru under the premise of protecting his gf and her grief) and it makes him a lot more than just the goofball idiot

I totally agree. In fact, it is really weird for me that they made these kind of narrative choices, since we had two episodes dedicated to Uo, two episodes dedicated to Hana and at least 3-4 episodes Yuki’s fan club centred.

Looking back, i would have personally made things differently, but maybe that’s just because i am a manga reader. For only anime viewers, the narrative choices work out way better

Soooo I dont wanna flood you with asks if anyone else is asking but is there any word on the shipping status of masks ordered? I put my order in on the 24th and havent gotten any shipping confirmation emails :

right now, everyone’s supply chains are pretty much collapsed. it’s not just about factories shutting down and then reopening at less than full capacity -- it’s that the factories that those factories source are having to make up for a deficit of product already ordered and basically every postal service is SUPER backed up right now. that means it’s slower to get components to factories that use them, again slowing down production time, and this goes all the way up to shipping bulk products overseas and then shipping individually to customers. it’s very complicated.

what you need to know as a consumer is that 1. things are just slow right now. people are steadily receiving their orders, but it is going slower than anticipated. 2. if you are unhappy with that, threadless is offering complete refunds as needed. so if you have any problems at all, please contact them at the email in the tweet!

apart from things like this where there are overarching problems that multiple customers face that i can contact my threadless reps about, if you ordered a product of mine through threadless, there is not much i can do other than to tell you to contact threadless.

that being said, i really appreciate everyone who has been ordering masks and who has boosted that and everyone who has been so patient with regards to my personal store.  everything has really ground to a halt in unexpected ways that have lasted much longer than anticipated and there is not much we can do about it. during this time when our main store is pretty much not operational, the threadless sales are what are keeping us from having to dip into savings that were set aside for retirement.

Ya know I just had a weird feeling about yashahime but I did end up watching the first idk 6 eps back in november?? And that was it. Anyway the ED was so good I played it on repeat while working on my nanowrimo project and now I hardly can relate it to yashahime and I guess that's a good thing now. I was a huge sesshoumaru fan this is downright heartbreaking

At least you got a good song out of it 😔I should’ve known something was up when they revealed FROM JUMP Moroha was Inuyasha and Kagome’s kid but never told watchers who Towa and Setsuna’s mother was. They knew exactly what they were doing and that’s one of the most fucked up things about this situation. I was a huge Sess fan too, I can’t believe the author of Inuyasha let this slide??

i think the plan is that the zine will have an option to buy some nice postcards with it! that wooden natsume charm i think you’re thinking of.... is not rly gonna be bundled with the zine, but I’ll be selling leftovers of that charm sometime before ax and also restocking them for ax so there’s still a chance!

AHH ANON YOU MAKE MY HEART SING!!! asking about my ocs omg i’m slain. lana is from a very old story of mine - she was a side character suffering from an illness that kept her bedridden most of her life. iirc her disfiguration was an accident when she was younger.. she got something in her eye that blinded her and she tried to claw it out in a panic. she later gains transformative / regenerative abilities that grant her wish to look “beautiful” but after realizing her powers are temporary, she becomes desperate to keep them no matter the cost...

i am loving Furuba’s season 2. Loving it, really. 

Next episode is gonna be lovely because we’re finally having some good HatsuRin food. But i am really looking forward to all the Kyoru and Yuchi moments. Especially Yuchi. (I just love seeing Yuki’s growth arc, how he finally starts to get more indipendent, how he recognizes the true nature of his relationship with Tohru, how he starts to get sassier and bitchy, his friendship with Kakeru, and of course ... how he falls in love with Machi <3)

I still hadn’t gotten him because I was pissy that ¥1800ish is a little expensive when the others in the series are much less from a used shop I like to go to but I think I may order him because the shop doesn’t have him and I have a NEED— I am so happy you have Acquired Him

Better parent: Kazuma or Kyoko? (Tbqh I think both are amazing and they would have been the best of friends)

OOF that’s a really difficult question to answer.  both of them were similar in many ways.  in particular, they both possessed a sincere warmth and limitless patience that allowed them to connect and form natural bonds with young people. each of them ended up raising children that grew up to be fantastic kids who hold them in high regard, so … i think i can safely say that they are both excellent !!  

i also have to agree that they’d be great friends !  i can see them both amicably bonding over how lovely their kids are, and i can Especially see the two of them ganging up on them with some friendly teasing ( tohru and kyo ARE both easy targets after all wwww ).
