DO NOT SKIP YOUR MORNING AND EVENING ADHKAR!
Shaykh Muhammad Sa'eed Raslaan, Hafidhahullahu Taสผala said:
"If you're afflicted with something you dislike, don't blame but yourself! The morning and evening incantations (adhkaar), for instance, are more important than breathing. They should be a standard that one follows strictly. They are more important than breathing. Don't fall short with regards to them. Otherwise you're entering a battle without weapons. You will have exposed your chest and become a target, for an enemy who won't show you any mercy."

Morning Supplications (Adhkaar) Part One
Tumblr media
Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him to the extent of the number of His creation and to the extent of His pleasure and to the extent of the weight of His Throne and to the extent of the ink of His words. (Three Times)
Tumblr media
O Allah! By Your leave we reach the morning and by Your leave we reach the evening and by Your leave we live and by Your leave we die and to You is our return. (One Time)
Tumblr media
O Allah! Whatever blessings I or any of Your creation have arisen upon this morning are from You alone, You have no partner, so for You is all praise and to You is all thanks. (One Time)
Tumblr media
We enter a new morning upon the nature of Islam, and the word of pure faith and upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ and the upon the creed of our forefather Ibrahim (Alaihisalam) who was one inclined towards truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah] and he was not of the polytheists. (One Time)
Tumblr media
O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I seek refuge in You from the evil within me and from the evil of Satan and his shirk (association with You) and from committing a wrong against my soul or against another Muslim. (One Time)
Tumblr media
O Allah! Verily I have reached the morning and I call on You, and on the bearers of Your throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, none has the right to be worshiped except You, Alone, You have no partner and that indeed Muhammad ๏ทบ is Your servant and messenger. (One Time)
Tumblr media
We and the entire dominion have entered a new morning for Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah! I ask You for the good of this day, its victories and its assistance and its light and its blessings and its guidance. And I seek refuge in You from the evil that is in it and from the evil that is before it and from the evil that follows it. (One Time)
Tumblr media
We and the entire dominion have entered a new morning for Allah, and all praise is due to Allah, there is no deity but Allah, the One, Who has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and all Praise is due to Him and He has power over all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from laziness, and the helplessness of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the hellfire and the punishment in the grave. (One Time)

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri:
One day the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) entered the mosque. He saw there a man from the Ansar called AbuUmamah.
He ๏ทบ said: What is the matter that I am seeing you sitting in the mosque when there is no time of prayer?
He said: I am entangled in cares and debts, Messenger of Allah.
He ๏ทบ replied: Shall I not teach you words by which, when you say them, Allah will remove your care, and settle your debt?
He said: Why not, Messenger of Allah?
Heย ๏ทบ said: Say in the morning and evening: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from care and grief, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity and slackness, I seek refuge in Thee from cowardice and niggardliness, and I seek in Thee from being overcome by debt and being put in subjection by men."
He said: When I did that Allah removed my care and settled my debt.

Assalamualaikum sister.
I Started praying 2 years ago and everything was perfect ุงู„ุญู…ุฏ ู„ู„ู‡. I never skipped a prayer and i used to pray the sunnah prayer too BUT unfortunately things have changed. Iโ€™m ashamed to say this but i stopped praying. I have no motivation to pray and i know i should still pray even if i have no motivation but i still end up skipping the prayers. I feel very bad but i still donโ€™t do anything about it. Sometimes i feel like God hates me or something. I donโ€™t know, i feel really alone and i hate myself too. I donโ€™t know where to start
Wa alaykum assalamu wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuhu dear,
You start by saying ุงุนูˆุฐ ุจุงู„ู„ู‡ ู…ู† ุงู„ุดูŠุทุงู† ุงู„ุฑุฌูŠู… - I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
I think I have answered a similar ask before, either here or on my main blog, so I am going to sum up the main points. See, everything you are describing is from Shaytan. He would get in the head of a practicing Muslim or someone who just found their way to Allah swt and start making them lazy, lethargic, skipping prayers, being distracted, and whatnot. But that one sentence you said " I feel like God hates me " that's was Shaytan's aim all along, to make you feel that way. To get the believer in a state of despair from Allah's love and Allah's mercy and convince them that they are unworthy of His forgiveness so there is no point in repenting, no point in trying, no point in sticking to prayer, and further acts of worship. AstaghfiruAllah.
Now first thing to do is to realize that this is all devilish wicked games that have no accuracy or validity in real life whatsoever. Allah swt does not deal with us based on Human relationship rules. Between us humans, if someone doesn't respect you, someone doesn't obey the rules for example, or if someone hurt us, there will be consequences, you might cut that person off of your life, close all communication doors with them, etc. But that's not how our relationship with Allah swt works, it is one of the most common mistakes and misconceptions that people have, to think of Allah swt in human characteristics. Whereas, Allah swt is ABOVE that. He is the most merciful, the most generous, He doesn't get bored or sick or annoyed of forgiving us and giving us second chances as long as we don't get bored of repenting. And that's a Hadith.
I think it all starts once you change your perspective on Allah swt and on prayer also. Thinking of prayer as a task is a bit exhausting I gotta admit, but I once heard someone say about prayer that they are going to go " hang out " with Allah swt, spend some time and talk to Him swt - and that's such a beautiful concept tbh. May Allah swt allow us to reach such advanced levels of love for Him. You can think of it as answering a call of the most beloved, most important .. if someone that you love so much calls you on the phone would you answer? Would you talk to them? Would you do it every time they call? Think of the Adhaan as an even more important call that you have to answer, out of love - if you accept that perspective.
Also, Allahuma barik laki wa jazaki Allahu kulla khayr, may Allah swt bless your pure heart but sis, when you start something, I get that at first you are very excited, very focused, you give it your all, but have you heard of something called Burnout? It's okay to take things slow, the most beloved deeds to Allah swt are the smallest yet most consistent. Allah swt would rather have you pray all your obligatory prayers (on time) for years on nonstop than pray all obligatory and sunnah for a while then just abruptly stop. And Allah swt knows best.
Anyways, all you have to do is get up, perform your wudhu, grab your praying matt and say Allahu akbar. The rest will follow.
I highly recommend you stick to certain morning and evening adhkaar, like seeking refuge in Allah swt from laziness and despair and from Shaytan. Make abundant duaa that Allah swt guides your heart and helps you through this journey. Be honest with Allah swt, talk to Him and ask Him for help because He is the only one who can and will really help you my dear. And most importantly, never be ashamed we are humans, we are sinners by nature, Allah swt has made us this way, to fall then repent, as long as we keep walking on his straight path.
May Allah swt help you continue walking on his path and find your way back to Him. Ameen. May Allah swt ease your affairs and make your heart eager for prayer. Ameen ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

Adhkaar
It was narrated that Abaan ibn โ€˜Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him) said, narrating from โ€˜Uthmaan ibn โ€˜Affaan who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: โ€œWhoever says โ€˜Bismillah illadhi la yadurru maโ€™a ismihi shayโ€™un fiโ€™l-ard wa la fiโ€™l-samaโ€™ wa huwa al-sameeโ€™ ul-โ€˜aleem (In the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing)โ€™, three times, will not be stricken with a sudden affliction until morning comes, and whoever says them when morning comes will not be stricken with a sudden affliction until evening comes.โ€
This is one of the great adhkaar that the Muslim should recite every morning and evening, so that he may be protected thereby, by Allahโ€™s leave, against being struck by a sudden calamity or disastrous harm

Allah calls Himself Al-Ghaffaarโ€” The All-and-Oft-Forgivingโ€” on five occasions in the Quran. He is the One who forgives and covers us time and time again. Al-Ghaffaar is the One Who forgives our sins, veils our shortcomings, and protects us from the effects of our mistakes in this life and the next so we can go on without shame or guilt!
The Oft-Forgiving, The One who veils and protects
Ghaffaar comes from the root ghayn-faa-raa, which points to three main meanings. The first meaning is to cover, veil, conceal, and hide. The second meaning is to pardon, to forgive, and to set aright. And the third meaning is to cover a thing to protect it (from dirt).
This root appears 234 times in the Quran in nine derived forms. Examples of these forms are yaghfiru (He forgives, will forgive), wa-isโ€™taghfir (and ask forgiveness), and maghfiratun (forgiveness).
Linguistically, ghaffaar is a hyperbolized noun, which implies quantity and continuity. Al-Ghaffaar is the One who forgives all kinds of sins over and over again. He sets us free from the guilt and shame of our own faults so we can feel inner peace, and He can transform wrong deeds and change them into what become good deeds.
Al-Ghaffaar Himself says: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. . . [Quran, 38:66] And . . . Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. [Quran, 39:5]
A beautiful invocation
The Arabic word astaghfirullah โ€“ I seek forgiveness of Allahโ€” is from this same ghaa-faa-raa root and is a beautiful, comprehensive request to Allah โ€˜azza wa jall to forgive us, hide away our faults, watch over us, and protect us from faults. Maghfirah is the word for this profound concept of forgiveness, covering, and protection.
Examples of magfirah
Allah Al-Ghaffaar covers and protects in the most beautiful ways, both spiritually and physically. An example is that He keeps your thoughts and intentions hidden from other people; your innermost feelings are well-protected and covered by Al-Ghaffaar. Another example is that Al-Ghaffaar physically covers us; He clothes our inner body nicely with skin. Imagine muscles being on the surface. Without this skin man would look appalling. Another example of Allahโ€™s maghfirah is that He veils a believerโ€™s private sins and misdeeds and doesnโ€™t publicize them to others.
How Can You Live by This Name?
1. Forgive to be forgiven.
Be honest with yourselfโ€” have you always forgiven others or did you just say โ€œI forgive you,โ€ while ill feelings lingered in your heart? . . . and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. [Quran, 24:22] Each night before you go to sleep try to cleanse your heart from grudges and ill-feelings and when you find it hard to forgive, remind yourself of the greatest motivation: Allahโ€™s forgiveness. Thereโ€™s no space for a big ego if you want to be forgiven by Allah โ€˜azza wa jall.
2. Seek forgiveness to increase your blessings.
He says: And said, โ€˜Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.โ€™ [Quran, 71:10] What will happen if you ask for forgiveness? Al-Ghaffaar will increase your blessings. He continues: He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. [Quran, 71:11-12] So next time you want something, increase in seeking forgiveness (or istighfaar).
3. Donโ€™t hunt for other peopleโ€™s mistakes.
Al-Ghazali said about the attribute of maghfirah: Every creature is bound to have perfection and imperfection, or ugliness and beauty, so whoever overlooks the ugly and mentions only the beautiful is one who shares in this attribute. As a true believer, always highlight the good of others and cover their faults. Never hunt for othersโ€™ mistakes.
4. Follow up a bad deed with a good one.
Al-Ghaffaar tells you: But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance. [Quran, 20:82] and Except for those who repent, believe, and work righteous deeds. For those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds, and Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Quran, 25 : 70] What often happens is that we sin and feel bad but remain passive.
Al-Ghaffaar tells you exactly what to do to get perpetual forgiveness: turn to Him sincerely in repentance no matter how often youโ€™ve sinned, follow up your bad deed with a good one, and be determined to stay on the right path. Then Al-Ghaffaar will transform your evil deeds into good deedsโ€” a great blessing. So next time you sin, open the Quran and read or give some sadaqah. You have much opportunity to do good, but donโ€™t delay!
5. Give thanks.
Reflect on the fact that Al-Ghaffaar veils your sins and bad deeds for others again and again, and thank Him for this blessing.
6. Follow the examples in the Quran and Sunnah.
Look for the Quranic supplications for forgiveness Al-Ghaffaar blessed you with and use them when you ask for His maghfirah, for example: Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful. [Quran, 23:109] Study the ways the Prophet salallahu โ€˜alayhi wa sallam used to seek forgiveness by using the morning and evening adhkaar (remembrance) to be found in the book of supplications Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim). Examples are daily invocations like: ghufraanaka when you exit the toilet, saying astaghfirullah wa atoobu ilayk more than 70 times a day.
O Allah, Al-Ghaffaar, we know that You forgive, cover, and protect us continuously. Forgive our sins, the first one, the last one, the hidde,n and apparent, and enable us to keep turning to You seeking forgiveness. Conceal our shortcomings in this life and on the Day of Judgement, protect us from the effects of our sins, and aid us to be forgiving to others, ameen!

Abdullah ibn โ€™Umar, may Allaah be pleased with him, said, โ€œThe Messenger of Allaah ๏ทบ never abandoned these supplications every morning and evening, โ€˜O Allaah! I ask You for forgiveness and well-being [ุงู„ุนุงููŠุฉ] in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allaah! I ask You for forgiveness and well-being [ุงู„ุนุงููŠุฉ] in my religious and my worldly affairs โ€ฆโ€™โ€ [Saheeh Ibn Maajah, no. 3121]
Shaikh โ€™Abdur-Razzaaq ibn โ€™Abdul-Muhsin al-โ€™Abbaad, al-Badr, said, โ€œุงู„ุนุงููŠุฉ [well-being] is Allaahโ€™s provision of safety for His servant from every act of vengeance and every affliction, by diverting evil away from him, and by sheltering him from tribulations and illnesses, and protecting him from all types of evil and sins.โ€

Assalamualaikum, what are the rulings over breaking a promise? I have made few promises to someone which seems impossible to fulfill. What can I do about it? I have asked for forgiveness and everything that person threatens to do something bad to me. I am in constant distress. Can I do something about it?
Wa 'alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Did you swear by Allah? If you did then then:
"Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses [i.e., revealed law] that you may be grateful."
โ€” Quran, 5:89
If you did NOT swear by the name of Allah, see this:
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/30861/what-are-the-situations-in-which-a-promise-may-be-broken
may Allah protect you, ameen. Seek refuge in Allah from the ill intentions of others and protect yourself from the morning and evening adhkaar in sha Allah. Allah is the best of protectors and helpers.
