oliver was one of the best parts of the season and i loved him so much ohhh the skrunkle

aiden & james were my favorite characters i think! <333 i really liked their development i love gay people i screamed at their first real kiss

it took a while for me to get used to every character because of their mics and acting. some of the acting was not believable at all and was the reason i dislikes some characters for a bit (cough rosa maria cough) before eventually warming up to them. it’s clear they improved a lot and found better actors for season 1. i’m curious how the S2 actors will be in S3.

maggy was genuinely annoying and not just because of her voice. sorry :(

lake was amazing!! i loved her arc!

connor was a good guy and i liked him, but i wouldn’t have brought him back for all-stars and i definitely wouldn’t have paired him with riya. that 21 year age gap is not looking good.

okay. i'm gonna be as organized as possible about this but i am probably gonna be all over the place and add to it later LMAO. BUT.

4dx thoughts first: jesus fuck lmao. i've never actually been to a 4d movie before and i feel like this experience is NOT representative of what a normal movie would be like but they really shook us around huh!!! i think those seats only stopped moving when kamina died, and i say "i think" bc there may have been more times when they stopped but my ass was unawares because i still felt like i was moving anyways LMAO.

they played an interview with imaishi, koyama, and wakabayashi (most likely filmed at anyc) before the showing (they did it before my dub showing too, even tho i just saw that one in a regular theater) and these mfs are so funny i swear lmao. they were like "we wanted to use the effects to their fullest so we added in movement during the emotional scenes too!" and then wakabayashi was like "i fell out of my seat while watching!" and then imaishi was like "my keys fell out of my pocket and i almost left them in the theater because they were between the seats" and then they laughed and THEN wakabayashi was like "oh wait they're watching gurren-hen right? nvm they'll be fine" but like. that shit felt like a ROLLERCOASTER so WTF IS LAGANN-HEN GONNA BE!!!!!!!!!! it made me so curious so now i also plan to see the sub of that one in 4dx LMAO. me when i literally die because the insane ppl at trigger decided to mimic a galaxy being thrown at a giant mecha and wanted me to feel it.

also. they sprayed us with water during the scene where gurren lagann's spiral energy feeds back and simon/lagann throw up. and like. i mean i can't say i ever WANTED to get vomited on by my fav anime boy, but it sure did happen!

okay. friend-who-hasn't-seen-ttgl-before-thoughts next: i was REALLY surprised how much it hooked him considering that i've always viewed the movies as subpar compared to the show but it REALLY sold him on it!!! and i'm so happy cause idk if he ever would've made it through those first 7 episodes of the show without knowing what was to come lmao. unfortunately he can't make it next week so we'll have to watch lagann-hen later on, as well as the show proper, but i'm SO curious to see what he thinks. especially bc the only complaint he rly had (aside from being violently shaken LMAO) was that simon, kamina, and yoko were really the only characters he could keep track of. like even nia didn't show up early enough for him to really track what was going on with her i think!!

when it comes to lagann-hen i am SO curious what he'll think of rossiu. cause rossiu's my other favorite anime boy but DAMN they really give him like two seconds of screen time total in this movie LMFAO. and THEY DON'T EVEN ESTABLISH THAT HE IS FOREHEAD BOY?????? like they play that scene where kamina's like "i wanna give simon and gimmy and darry and forehead boy a good future" and my friend was like "WHO?" lmao. i guess you're just supposed to see the size of his forehead and come to your own conclusions FDLKSJFHSLKJ. and i did tell my friend that rossiu is Important in lagann-hen but i'm so curious as to whether that whole plot point will actually. like. make sense? and if he can track why rossiu is all of a sudden In Charge and Like That? idk but i can't WAIT to see it. similarly though i do wonder what he'll think of kittan's sacrifice cause kittan got a nothingburger this movie too LMAO.

when it comes to the show i am AGAIN curious what he'll think of rossiu, like what he'll think going from a smaller role for him in the film to a larger role in the show. cause obviously i am -_- at the downsizing but rossiu adds SOOOOOOOOO much to the show on the whole that i wonder if having a different first impression will frame him as a character differently??? IDK!!!! and ALSO i am curious what my friend will think WHEN EXTRA BITCHES START DYING AT THE END LMAO. like it's one thing to do from all of dai-gurren dying to them all living, but from them all living to DYING?????? i'm SO CURIOUS. i feel like watching these movies with him has me appreciating them more in the same way that watching eva with friends made me appreciate eva more too. except i like ttgl a whole heck of a lot more to begin with, even the movies, so i think this might just kill me entirely LMAO.

NOW. ONTO THE DUB.

prefacing this section with Holy Fuck I Am So Glad This Exists I've Cried Over It And Could Cry More. the fact that i've wanted this so bad and it HAPPENED. do the impossible i suppose but i can still HARDLY BELIEVE IT'S REAL. and listening to every single second of it was just a complete and total joy and i wouldn't trade it for anything <3

and now that the sappy stuff is outta the way SAM RIEGEL THE VIRAL THAT YOU ARE!!!!!! he did the ABSOLUTE BEST IMO, he still captured the same voice he did in the show dub AND he managed to like, have a coherent new take on some of the scenes? like during his first or second confrontation with kamina he had this more bored tone that worked SO WELL for me because. yeah!!!! viral thinks humans are inferior at that point, so he WOULDN'T be giving this battle 100%!!!! excellent choices all around and whenever they release this on home video i am gonna listen to this performance for like a week straight.

other generally great stand-outs were LORDGENOME ofc and also dayakka was pretty great too!! they didn't have a whole lot of changes but they worked well in the OG so they ofc worked well here too!! oh and kittan and his sisters too!!! they didn't get as much to do but kittan's still got it and if i heard correctly they even got the same VAs for his sisters too? like stephanie sheh kinon doesn't surprise me bc she's still so active in the industry but kiyal especially sounded rly similar in her like. three lines LMAO.

i WAS actually rly curious abt if they would recast leeron into literally anyone other than "steve blum doing a ~gay voice~" and uh. they didn't lmao. but tbh i think it worked for me anyways; the movies cut out so much of the blatant homophobic jokes which is one super nice thing about them, and also they were SO diligent with getting the rest of the cast back that it makes sense he'd come back too? like i didn't expect DAYAKKA to return but it sure sounded like the same guy to me, let alone the bachika sisters and gimmy and darry, so i get why they kept blum too and it was fine in most parts imo

i really liked bridget hoffman nia too!! she didn't sound the same as hynden walch ofc but i think she gave a great performance and i think it'll be really beneficial to have this sort of continuity of voice going between pre- and post-skip nia.

my adai kiddos...........well jyb didn't have a whole lot of lines as rossiu so i don't have much to say other than i think he did fine with what he had LMAO, i'm SOOOOOO excited to hear him in lagann-hen though!!! especially towards the end, where rossiu's belief gives simon et al the strength they need to finish the battle and win, and also the "so many others like us out there" line....... i MAY burst into tears hearing that in a theater LMAO. also it threw me off when they pronounced darry's name as "dairy" SKLDJFH

YURI LOWENTHAL............oh honey you do not sound like a fourteen year old boy anymore LMAO. it really sounded like he was putting in the EFFORT to make his voice as high as preskip simon's is haha. but his performance was still fucking amazing, especially in the hot-blooded parts where it needed to be, and tbh it was kinda sweet that he sounds different now? like, it's a charming reminder that even if it took a while, enough people loved this story hard enough that the dub got made FIFTEEN YEARS LATER, and simply typing that is making me tear up LMAO so yeah i obviously didn't mind. can't fucking wait to hear him as adult simon tho, that may awaken something in me yet again >:)

aaaaaaaand yoko and kamina lmao. obviosuly these are the hardest to judge because they also, alongside simon, have the most lines? so there is more material to compare LMAO. and both of them certainly gave very different performances that i'm not quite sure how to feel about yet. like the acting itself was still amazing, but it was different and not like sam riegel's in a way that was so obviously elevated that i'm having a bit more trouble parsing my thoughts lmao. like my knee-jerk reaction is "different, so not the thing i love, so worse" but that's not true!!! that's not true at all, and i think i may just need to hear it a few more times for the new inflections and what not to gel with me lmao. though i will say, like literally everyone else, that i think michelle ruff was directed differently as yoko - you could tell there was more effort to make her voice more nasally, or to use her head voice in general, or to sound more cutesy/girly. and i PERSONALLY don't think that's the right choice for yoko, as she's got so much more going on with her gender than just being a cute girl, but this is not the place for that discussion LMAO. so they certainly weren't bad by any means, i think they might just need a few more watches to grow on me the same way the show performances have. or just to have more fleshed-out opinions! anyways, 4k uhd english dubbed bluray WHEN aniplex.

overall the differences were SUPER interesting to hear tho!!! like i'm not well-versed enough in dubbing as a product of the late 00's versus now, but i imagine it's partially changed as an art form and that led to some of the performance differences. in general it was really funny when they slightly changed the dialogue and the lip flaps and pauses wound up in different places!!

the imaishi koyama wakabayashi interview mentioned the same thing that they said at anyc, that they were hoping to make a show that could last ten years. and now 15 years later it's STILL loved enough to get a whole ass new dub and theatrical release. and i just. i'm gonna make myself cry again LMAO, i love this story so much and it's been such a great experience <3

I did not like the Annie and Hughie scene. Sorry.

I get that they are trying to show Toxic Masculinity bad, but it doesn’t kind of work here. Hughie has never had a problem with Starlight being stronger than him. He has always been insecure about his abilities. Everyone in the group treats him as this useless tool, and it just reinforces that. Like last episode, when he asked MM and Butcher whether they want awkward, powerless Hughie, or supe Hughie who can take care of himself.

That scene felt really forced. Really forced. The violence over the past three seasons has torn down his morality, and he just doesn’t think there’s any other way. And he’s right.

What can they do about Homelander? Use diplomacy to stop him, blackmail him, take away public support, shame him out of existence?

He doesn’t want to be one who needs to be saved every single time, who needs to be protected, the one who is a liability every time they are out on the field. He’s tired of that. I mean, yeah. If it comes down to a fight, which it most probably will, he doesn’t want to be the one hiding in a corner.

What srk 2000s movie is the best?

Like i was just listening to tumhe jo maine dekha and i realised that i don't even know what that movie is from and like everyone has seen them

Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha is from Main Hoon Na. How do you not know that? Jail. Jail.

Okay, so SRK from 2000 to 2010 is pretty much flawless era, except some movies which I don't remember. They are probably shit if I don't remember them.

Every single of these. And I mean, every single of them has a mind-blowing good album. Guaranteed two-three songs in each, which you will love for as long as you will live.

Main Hoon Na (2004) is quintessential Bollywood movie. It is the most bollywood movie to ever movie. You know. And somehow it still works, till this day. Soundtrack is first love vibes.

Om Shanti Om (2007), is another one of the same mould. Made by the same director, Farah Khan. Silly as fuck. Soundtrack is god-tier good.

Chak De India (2007) has probably SRK's greatest performance, along with Swades and My Name is Khan (onto them, later). You have probably seen this. I mean of course you have. The emotions this movie makes you feel, and the fact that it actually juggles multiple characters, and just ugh. I love this movie so much.

Kal Ho Na Ho (2003). That's it. Just watch it, if you haven't.

Veer-Zaara (2004). SRK had a very good 2004 btw. He was nominated for Best Actors for 3 different movies. Veer-Zaara is probably one of the best pure Romance movies, made in this country. Rani Mukherjee is so good. Fun fact, the soundtrack of this movie, uses compositions made by Madan Mohan, who had died in 1975. 30 years after his death.

Mohabbatein (2000). This movie is one of the major reasons I want to become a professor in a college in a hill station. Oddly similar to Dead Poets Society. Just like Koi Mil Gaya is very similar to ET.

Swades (2004). The least bollywood movie among the lot. His performance is iconic as hell. I love the pace of this movie so much. And I really love the romance-plot as well, because it doesn't feel overdone, or rushed.

My Name is Khan (2010). You have probably seen this already. It's a little overdramatic in the end. It's Karan Johar, what do you expect. But his performance is so good. So good. Features the greatest proposal scene in the history of cinema. The scene where he meets Jimmy Shergill after the latter's wife is attacked, will never not make me cry. Same goes for the scene, where he reunites with Mandira.

K3G (2001). YEAH.

Dil To Pagal Hai (1997). Everyone remembers the soundtrack of this movie. As they should, because it's fucking amazing. But the movie is so much more than the soundtrack. It's so good. Akshay Kumar is in it, as well.

ALSO.

How I remember these movies, has a lot to do with nostalgia. A LOT. If you have never seen them in your life, and you are watching them for the first time now, you are not going to enjoy yourself as much as I do. Some of them are problematic as fuck. Looking at you Mohabbatein. Move on you fucking weirdo, you are hallucinating your dead girlfriend of 10 years. These movies were a huge part of my childhood, so yeah, I remember them very fondly.

Élite Season 4 Review

as an og fan of élite who’s been binging every single season on the day it came out, i watched the fourth season yesterday. here’s my thoughts. obviously includes spoilers for both the new season and some short stories.

the short stories of carmuel and caye/rebe/guzman were the best for me.

the new characters were… uh… how do i put this nicely

ari is the new lu. but less interesting. hated her at first, felt kinda sorry for her at the end though.

mencía is a cardboard copy of miss marina. 🙄

idk how to feel about their dad?? uhhh

i was really hyped for phillipe’s character (idk how to spell it i’m sorry lmao) but man what a letdown.

ya know what… i really liked cayetana this season! i felt neutral about her before but i rlly liked her this season. wish she’d had more screen time.

THEY BUILT UP GUZNADIA FOR THREE SEASONS ONLY FOR THEM TO BREAK UP WITHIN THREE EPISODES AND HAVE GUZMÁN GO AFTER A DIFFERENT CHICK?? W H A T

i liked ander back in season 1… but his character just becomes less and less likeable over the seasons. fight me.

shoutout to samu’s hair this season. hot.

okay but what the fuck was up with all the fucked up relationships this season?? omander. carmuel. guznadia. samu and guzmán. samu and rebe’s friendship, which come on, could’ve gone back to the way it was back in s2.

speaking of rebe, this girl got hurt way too much this season?? pls stop she deserves happiness thanks

i cannot stress this enough: FUCK LOVE TRIANGLES. for me it worked in season 1 with carla/polo/christian because they actually seemed to be into polyamory and it actually benefited the fucking plotline around covering up marina’s murder. but that was it. AND THEY HAVE ONE OR TWO EVERY SEASON. it’s exhausting. jesus.

HEY BY THE WAY… what happened to la inspectora from the first three seasons? ma’am?? where you at?? the kids fucked up again and someone nearly died. then someone actually died.

the mystery this season was so fucking dull. like i forgot what was even going on kinda dull. the interrogation scenes were not nearly as compelling as in the previous seasons, they didn’t give you chills, didn’t make you wonder what the hell happened.

you don’t even need a murder mystery to make it interesting. season 2 was my favorite season, and there was no murder mystery — samuel had gone missing. his disappearance and the interrogation scenes were interesting, no one saw the guzmán teamup coming or his relationship with carla. it was exciting and thrilling and this season did not have that even a little bit.

solid plot twist. i’ll give them that. i did not really see that whole armando storyline coming, although i did figure out he had something to do w it because they kept him around for so long.

at the end after guzmán shot that mf in the back i was like NO DONT LEAVE THE BODY?? and then i saw he and samu and someone else i think (i don’t even remember man) dropped his body into the lake. i liked that, reminded me of the trophy.

the fuck is up with the fasion getting more and more extra this season? compare the party outfits from season 1 to the ones we have now. a little extra is good, but now they’re just plain ugly. anyway s1 and s2 fashion >>>

that one scene in the restaurant where guzmán spoke of marina and the way she was as a person and a daughter… that was so well written. i feel like so many people (the writers included) forgot about marina bc she was the first to die and only appeared in season 1, but still. like this teenage boy lost his sister (and so much more) in such a short span of time. i’m glad they at least acknowledged it.

dude… obviously i know that the show isn’t realistic at all but these kids have been through so much. guzmán has been through the worst shit. losing his little sister to murder and then his best friend as well? seeing him die in his fucking arms? and the other kids? they’re still teenagers man. it is beyond wild to think that they’d be as carefree as they were displayed to be this season.

obviously that joke rebe made in the short story about not being able to take any more interrogations and murders and shit was, well, a joke, and it was delivered well, but if you think about it… come ON. they’ve been through hell and back. the show has never been just light-hearted, it has dealt with several serious issues and deaths and murders and things like that. these kids are broken. why couldn’t they have shown more of that? or at least acknowledged it a little? have someone go to fucking therapy??

i thought overall the whole season was underwhelming. kinda boring.

before the season came out, someone said that they didn’t think the show could thrive without carla, lu, nadia, valerio, polo… and i agree now.

i feel like this season had such a different vibe than the previous seasons. not in a good way.

i miss season 1 and 2 man. those seasons had the best mystery, the best vibe, the best cast. i don’t just miss carla, lu, polo, valerio, nadia… i miss christian and nano as well.

even the soundtracks of the previous seasons were better. i’m sorry to sound this negative in the whole review but man i waited so long for the new season only to be disappointed.

JJK Episode 18:

Ayo... Megumi was straight up trying to commit murder in today’s episode 😭 he was making sure to Kamo like “watch what happens when you try to touch someone who is dear to me” type of vibe.

I like comparing manga/anime’s becasue while I do love how everything is in the anime, I still prefer the manga. But anywho, he literally didn’t give a shit at this scene becasue someone is trying to kill someone precious to him. That’s how much Megumi cares about Yuji. I hope that Yuji acknowledge that Megumi would literally curse anyone or something jsit to make sure that he is okay.

I know i say this a lot but it’s okay but I really love the dialogue between Megumi and Kamo. You can tell that while Megumi was talking about saving people that whole mindset was hella different when we first saw his way of thinking. He knows that Yuji influenced him with that mindset. While I was iffy with Kamo while I was reading the manga, I honestly can’t help but not be upset at him. Like Panda said two previous episode, “We know Yuji is a good kid becasue we all got to know him but people who don’t know Yuji knows him as Sukuna’s vessel” (it went something like that) that is honestly a realistic standpoint for people tbh. When you hear from your superiors and a very famous curse then you are always going to have your guard up and have a set opinion on it. Plus, Kamo is going to be the head of his clan. He already needs to handle these type of responsibilites.

Another thing I love was:

This scene. Honeslty, I know some people are always saying that Megumi is always getting his ass beat (I know it’s a joke😂) but this dude is hella strong. Stronger than most of your fav character but he doesn’t like to show off and that’s okay (I also don’t want spoil for some of you guys). While Yuji was dead and Nobara/Megumi were fighting, you can tell that both of them busted their ass off. But we aren’t talking about Nobara since we already discussed that Queen last week. Now, it’s Megumi’s time to shine. If they weren’t interrupted, Megumi would’ve legit cursed him in my opinion. He worked his ass off becasue he even says right there he was only recently able to tame his Elephant shadow and he recently discovered how to store stuff in his shadow. That’s how serious he was about getting stronger and avenging Yuji. He was a fucking beast in this episode!! I swear I fucking love that kid so much bro 😭

We can’t forget about this scene! 😭

I honestly think that Megumi’s dogs love getting attention and belly rubs! Like, look at this cute baby! 😭😍 how can you say “return” like bitch I would’ve kept it by limy side! 😭 but it’s a good thing he did becaue the mf dog would’ve died 😭 Inumaki is ugh! I think his powers is kne of my favorite! If you read Vol 0, you see why he is powerful for someone who is a teenager. I can’t wait for you guys to see more of him and just ugh! again my brain is going CRAZY so, of course, i dump all that onto here :D as always, *SPOILER WARNING* for under the cut for everything up to aot s4 pt2 ep5. and psa bc this work is such an amazing piece of art: pls read/watch attack on titan

MY FAVORITE FRAME OF EP 80. i get it's just a manga panel but this paired w kaji-san's voice just... chills.

also, eren is genocidal but honestly, isn't that the character we've always known? from the start he's ALWAYS wanted to kill all the titans and now his motives have just changed to 'he wants to kill his enemies'

As for this whole sequence, i love it so much. the way he was so desperate to get her to listen to him AND SHE DID. also also...................................... WHAT DOES THE '2000 YEARS' LINE MEAN. LIKE DID SHE PUT A DISTRESS SIGNAL SOMEWHERE THAT HE PICKED UP ON??? does it have to do with how in episode 1, 9-year-old eren had a premonition to the destruction that would happen later in the day? cause like he cried too so.... WHAT DOES IT MEAN EXACTLY. and when he asked 'were you the one that led me here?' does that mean that SHE was the one that showed him all the stuff that he knows ???

can i just say.... the story of ymir is just really sad. i'm showing this specific frame bc her titan form is just really cool but overall her story is just depressing.

she was "set free" from her slavery but it's literally just the first time someone "got sent to paradise". and then she gained the titan power by falling into water and connecting... with... some type of parasite ?????

and then she went back to king fritz and became his weapon AND the bearer of his children (back to his slave) and then died protecting him... and then just lived in that 'other world' as the coordinate who created all the titans that would ever exist. she was always under control of someone... until eren made her realize she's her own being and let her choose what to do which eventually led to-

ALL THIS. pls, the very first time i saw that specific frame in the opening i was like IS THAT A FISH TITAN OR???? also eren looks like a frickin snake, i do not feel bad AT ALL for laughing. but anyway yes, ymir decided to keep eren alive and to follow his idea which, ofc, was to start the rumbling (which he implied would 'end this world' so does he mean the 'other world' that they're in w all the sand and branches and stuff or... just suffering in general?)

AND I WAS RIGHT TO ASSUME THAT THIS IS WHERE HE SAW THE FUTURE AND SAW WHAT HE WOULD DO. I'M EXCITED TO SEE HIS THINKING PROCESS AND THE INITIAL SHOCK AND THE PROCESSING HE HAD TO GO THROUGH TO NOT EVEN LOSE HIS MIND. cause how is he sane right now? this guy has had to live with this knowledge for mf FOUR YEARS.... So I haven’t seen all of season 2 yet I’m only like the first 30 seconds of #7 I believe it’s eye for an eye idk I’m on a treadmill when I’m watching it and it’s hard to read anyway I have thoughts... surprising I know!!!

Vanya: holy shit they really got me liking Vanya now good fucking job!!! She’s likeable relatable I fucking feel for her and don’t wanna fast forward her sections... I still do but it’s due to anxiety of her affair getting found out and as soon as I see that doesn’t happen I actually rewind to see her scenes so good fucking job everyone. Though the ending of the episode I just saw yeeesh.... shit gonna go bad. Also I’d bet money her giving breath of life to Harlan is going to be really fucking important idk if it’s end of the world important but I can see it being important to season 3 or being important by the end of the season somehow. I mean it’s vanya... this gotta go back to her somehow.

Luther: he went from worst to.... well not worst. Someone else I feel a lot for from his feelings about his father and holy shit seeing this man who idolized his father just get ripped apart was rough. Then his obsession with Allison just... again I’m really believing she rumores him into loving her cause so far her two husbands have been honest about shit and willing to walk away from her yet Luther can’t. In s1 when she’s driving in the car thinking of all the times she rumored someone and one was her rumoring someone into loving her. I really hope we find out this season if it’s Luther.

Allison: I like her this season. That’s shocking I know but I do. I think having her away from Luther and Diego helps and also not being around vanya and kinda acting all I’m seconds older and know more than you thing. I did not like the diner scene with her husband only cause I got a bad feeling all those witnesses are going to cause trouble now. Never leave witnesses I mean come on your husband was arrested for you punching out some asshole what do you think 30 racist eye witnesses to you having magic is gonna do?

Klaus:used to be my favorite but this season not really. Idk if it’s the cult thing but I’m not into it. The thing with David is.... God it’s so hard to watch. I wish he would just talk things out with Ben and then he could do shit the right way! Instead of causing David to sign up for the army over a week early. What if now David never meets Klaus? Here’s hoping #5 pulls a s1 and we get a redo of shit before this ends and Klaus can like not get David to sign up early.

Ben: Ben needs more lines and I really hope he doesn’t pull a Klaus with terrible ideas and uses his brothers body to get close to the girl he likes just.... no. Please Ben you give such good advice to Klaus don’t be the type of person who can’t take their own advice. I do appreciate that episode one finally shows him kicking ass and I hope to see more of that without everyone dying. And I wish he coulda said more to his father, also I wanna know how the mf died like yoo give a bitch a clue!

Diego: now the worst. From one of the first to the worst just wow. I appreciate his story and I appreciate the consistency to him having a hero complex and just being a fuck up. But if Doctor Who taught me anything it’s that you do not fuck with the timeline and he is actively trying to destroy it. For what I’ll never understand. In episode 1 it did say on a newspaper that it was the president declaring war so.... I’m guessing he’s the reason for this apocalypse. And wow if anything will destroy your heroic self perception faster is realizing you ended the world. Or he’ll cling to it even harder and be over bearing. I will say seeing him stutter broke me. Regnald was right but his future self is the cause of Diego’s and all the siblings mental and emotional problems and that needs to be remembered.

#5: the best wow just wow he is a joy and a delight and omg he’s a killer I mean I knew that but.... holy fuck did you SEE that!!!! First the donut shop and now this like FUUUUUUCCCKKK!!! So good!!!! I wish he would talk to his family about his plans and about the Commission but in all honesty no one ever listens to him. Except vanya but without her memory I’m not sure if she’ll be much help. I don’t like him working with the handler but I get why

The handler: still love to hate her don’t trust her but the woman has got style the only thing that Ickes me out is that she kinda seems like she’s flirting with 5 and that’s a child’s body so eww no

Grace: She’s real??? I though she was from Reginald’s home planet or something I mean didn’t she die in bed or something in s1 and there were missiles and lights and stuff idk ohhh unless that was on earth this earth ooohhhh

Lila: now this is where imma get some shit but I do not like her. I didn’t like her from the group therapy and the few times I started to like her I went right back to not liking her. Now that I know she’s the adopted daughter of the handler Nope Nope time to go.

Reginald: still hate him for what he’s GOING to do to the kids but man that scene with 5... how tf do ya’ll humanize such a monster??? Good job writers. And seeing him with grace and pogo he seems likeable but... I can’t forget what he put them through especially when the abuse is so evident in their adult selves.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS QUESTION.

Everyone that follows me know these two are my everything. I started watching TVD when it first came on, and from the first time Stefan and Elena made eye contact outside the boys bathroom, I was hooked. They had something few people ever find in this world. Love, loyalty, friendship, and respect. They may be fictional, but what they represented as a couple was the realest thing to me.

so, for me naturally the most underrated scene to start with is 1x01.

Their first meeting…or so Elena thought.

This moment was pure MAGIC. Their chemistry was instant, and even though this wasn’t the first time Stefan had met Elena, it was certainly her first time laying eyes on him and you could tell she was very intrigued by what she saw. Yes, he’d wanted to get to know Elena at first, because she looked like Katherine but he did it in a respectful way unlike trying to scare the girl by pretending to be a damn crow in a cemetery. I just knew these two were going to be something special, and I wasn’t wrong.

Next, the aftermath of my favorite episode of the show, 1x10 | The Turning Point.

So, if you’re a Stelena shipper you KNOW how big of an episode “The Turning Point” was, and if you don’t then I guess you are heartless because this episode just hit every major feel I had and then some. First, there was already tension with Stefan wanting to leave town to protect Elena, and not to cause anymore trouble for her but Elena didn’t agree.

It ends in a beautiful scene of Elena declaring her love for him, and them making sweet love in just the best way, but to me what is so special about this is the after. When they’re just lying in bed with no worries, and so in love with each other. They’re glowing, and just in the moment and even though it didn’t last long because of her finding Katherine’s picture, in this moment it was utterly perfect.

Moving on the 1x19 & 1x20.

As much as i loved the loving scenes between SE, i also really enjoyed the not-so-loving scenes. This was one of them, because in S1 we’re shown the character of both brothers. Damon is the evil brother, and Stefan is the good brother. Stefan at his core is a good man, but he had demons that he had to face, and we’re presented with this side of him that isn’t so saintly. He has a weakness for blood, a deadly one and that’s why he shied away from human blood altogether.

Elena had no idea and when she saw just how bad his addiction was during the pageant, she didn’t cower or run away, she helped him in the best way she knew how and even though initially Stefan didn’t want to accept it he let out his feelings and they were able to work through this. It was intense, but it was real because in real life, relationships aren’t always happy. it’s gets hard sometimes, but it’s what you do in those situations that tells the difference.

Now onto…2x05.

Okay so maybe this isn’t really “underrated” as much as it is just the cutest little scene between SE. They had to see each other in secret, because Katherine was on the loose, and she was dangerous especially since she saw Elena as a threat. So, since they were going to out around in each in public they had to be discreet and devised a plan that they’d have a code that whatever they said to each other in disguise of a fight, they’d really be saying “i love you.”

Just the absolute sweetest thing.

Straight on to 2x08 | “Rose”.

“Rose” was the episode that introduced the Originals into the picture, and Klaus who’d been searching for Katherine all these years hears about her doppelganger, Elena so she’s taken by Rose to be given to Elijah. Using Bonnie’s magical tracking skills, Stefan and Damon were able to find her and this scene is the end result.

It’s underrated to me, because of how raw Elena’s emotions are in this scene when she sees Stefan after being apart. They way she just burrows into him like they’re the only ones in the room just melts my heart every time.

2x14 | The bittersweet beautiful lake scene of “Crying Wolf.”

I feel like everybody knows how epic of a moment this is already, but I still had to include it as being underrated, because of how it really shows what could’ve been. Stefan decides that Elena needs a weekend away so they take a trip up to her family’s cabin in the woods to be alone. She starts out by herself on the dock, and then Stefan joins her by wrapping his arms around her shoulders and they talk about their future.

It’s so bittersweet, because in this moment they think they’re going to be together forever, but we as the audience know now that it didn’t end that way. I hate the turn that this show took from separating them, because we are shown later in S5 what they’re life could’ve been and it would’ve been beautiful. I just hate that it never came to fruition.

2x20 | the truthfulness & beautiful goodbyes of “The Last Day.”

The Stelena scenes in this episode were definitely underrated to me, because Elena admits for the first time that she didn’t want to be a vampire. There was a build-up because of Klaus’s arrival, and so Stefan wanted to get Elena out of Mystic Falls for the day and so he took her up the mountains and told her to just say it, “it” being that she doesn’t want to be a vampire. He’d known that she didn’t want that fate, and he understood.

What made SE so great was the respect they had for each other. Stefan may not have liked some of Elena’s decisions throughout the show, but the one thing he always respected was her CHOICE. No matter when they were together or not, her choice mattered to him and in this moment he respected her choice not to become like him. She wanted to grow up, and experience life, and he wanted that for her.

Then when they return back to MF, Klaus is waiting and Stefan and Elena both know it’s time to say goodbye. Klaus holds the power in this moment, but SE still have their little moment. A kiss goodbye, but it’s so heart wrenching, because Stefan doesn’t want to let her go and Elena knows Klaus could kill him so she calms him down, but the love between them is so palpable in that scene it just crushed me.

3x14 | THAT DAMN DANCE of “Dangerous Liaisons.”

SO. MUCH. SEXUAL. TENSION.

I know people better give credit to this scene for being hot as hell! So S3 had so many epic SE moments that need no mention, but THIS one. I HAD TO MENTION. So Stefan of course had joined Klaus in order to save Damon, and became a ripper again to show his loyalty. When Elena started to search for him to get him to come home, she came up empty, but found him in Chicago where he put on this front of no longer wanting to be with her. He does eventually come back, and when Klaus sees just how much he loves Elena, he makes him shut off his humanity.

So we get half of a season of Stefan showing the effect of having his humanity gone, and Elena dealing with that. When this dance comes up, it changes the whole game. She starts out dancing with Damon, and when he twirls her, who does she end up with? Stefan’s fine ass. That smoldering look he gives her, Elena looks so shocked, but turned on, I mean its just such a good scene and really shows that as much as he tries to push her away, and not feel anything that love is still there.

3x22 | Their last kiss with her as a human in “The Departed.”

The last episode of S3 is important, because this is really the last time we see Elena as a human mostly. There was this tension between her and Stefan all throughout the season, and even though he’d turned back on his humanity, went to the dance, and were getting back to a good place we still didn’t know where they stood. Elena has this struggle going on with which brother to choose, because she’s also grown close to Damon as well.

So, before parting ways Stefan gives her this kiss, and he’s not trying to influence her decision, but he needed to kiss her one last time before they part, because he doesn’t know what’s going to happen. We all know she ends up choosing Stefan before she dies, but this is underrated to me, because even though Elena’s in the ‘in like’ stage with Damon, she’s still reminded that she never fell out of love with Stefan and that’s the difference.

4x21 | Stefan helps Elena turn her humanity back on in “She’s Come Undone.”

Now to semi-unbearable season 4. I’m going to be honest, I hated S4 as a whole, because that’s when this show went downhill. I believe that sire bond was the beginning of the end, and from then on I didn’t enjoy the show like i did with S1-S3. However, S4 did have its moments, like this one. When Elena went off that bridge at the end of S3, that truly was the end of us seeing the real her. Once the sire bond stage entered, and DE entered, that’s when the BS started. Even though Stefan and Elena weren’t together though didn’t mean they didn’t care for each other. He still respected her, and her choices. He still loved her, and she him and they were there for each other.

When Jeremy got killed, she couldn’t take it so Damon’s dumbass made her turn off her humanity unleashing the worst in herself. What a shock. Anyways, she was very unpleasant, and they realized they had to get her back to how she was so Stefan stepped in and reminded her to just calm down, and breathe. Damon then proceeded to almost kill Matt in front of her and that brought her humanity back, but it was because of the help of Stefan that she was able to do that. Damon’s face just shows how he’ll always be the 3rd wheel on a ship he was never supposed to be on. This scene is underrated just because it shows stelena’s connection, and how even if they’re not together, the chemistry they have is still there.

6x22 | A goodbye that had me literally crying in “I’m thinking of you all the while.”

So my last underrated scene is the final goodbye before Elena left in S6, because I honestly was barely watching at this point, but I knew Nina was leaving and knew that they wouldn’t have Elena go without saying goodbye to Stefan. There’s just so much history between them, and love that I can’t understand why this show never gave them the rekindling they deserved. What they had was so epic, and so real. I will always love them, and even though they deserved better, i’m thankful for the love story they gave us.

Honorable mention:

I don’t know what scene this is from, but it gets honorable mention because of how adorable it is. Look at Elena’s face. A small scene, but with much meaning behind it.
