If someone were to ask Jake what his favorite time of day was, with no hesitation he would say the time he gets off work because that’s the time he gets to come home to you, the only person that has his whole heart. He feels safe knowing that the second he comes home, you welcome him with open arms and overall just be in his presence. Call him dramatic but he can feel all the stress leave his body the second he sees you. You’re his everything.

Jake can already feel a smile creep up onto his face as he unlocks the door to your shared apartment. Stepping foot inside, he was immediately met with the sound of your footsteps getting closer and closer to him. Around the corner revealed you with your pretty smile and twinkling eyes, instantly causing Jake’s heart to melt at the sight. Barely giving him the chance to close the front door, you threw your arms around his neck, bringing him into your tight, warm embrace.

Letting out a soft laugh and returning the hug, he breathed out, “Hey, pretty.”

The two of you let go and Jake was quick to pull you into a soft kiss, “Did you eat yet? I brought home some dinner for us.” he asked after pulling away, he held up a bag of your favorite food.

“Not yet, I wanted to wait for you to get home so we could decide on something. Here, you go ahead and wash up while I heat this up.” you offered. He smiled and nodded, heading off to your bedroom.

After Jake finished showering, the two of you settled down to eat dinner. It mostly consisted of you guys catching up on what you did for the day, the things you accomplished, the funny stories, pretty much anything that came to mind. It was a nice, relaxing time for the both of you since you haven’t seen each other for a majority of the day. By the time you wake up in the morning, Jake has already left for work so pretty much the only time you get to see him would be at nighttime after he gets home so you try to make the most of it.

Dating an idol has its ups and downs. There are some good days and there are some bad days. No matter what though, you and Jake promised that you won’t let that affect your relationship so here you are still going very strong. At the end of the day, what matters is that you come home to each other and be embraced with nothing but unconditional love.

You finish your dinner and head to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Jake couldn’t help but stare and admire you. You’re so beautiful in his eyes, he felt very lucky to have you by his side. Sometimes he even wonders how he managed to score someone like you. It’s safe to say that he’s head over heels in love with you and nothing could ever change that. Nobody could ever take him from you. As you do the dishes, you feel as if someone was staring at you from behind. You turn your head and meet Jake’s glance. Smiling at him you say, “What’s on your mind?”

“Just how beautiful you are and how much I love you.” he said softly, causing you to blush at his words. No matter how many times you hear it, it’s always going to have the same effect on you.

“You’re such a smooth talker Ikeu…”

“I’m only speaking the truth my love,” you could only hum at his response. “Let’s go to bed, yeah?” Before you even have a chance to respond, you let out a yelp as you felt Jake’s arms around your waist and under your legs, carrying you bridal style to your bedroom. Placing you down gently under the covers, Jake joins you shortly and pulls you onto his chest, his hands immediately finding its way towards your head. He lets his fingers run through your hair, bringing instant comfort to you. He knew this. Sighing in content, you snuggled closer to Jake. A comfortable silence fills the air, it’s just the two of you enjoying each other’s company.

A few moments pass until Jake breaks the silence, “I love you Y/N… so much.”

Your heartbeat speeds up, “I love you Jaeyun.”

“You’re so good to me, words can’t even explain how much I appreciate you. I’m so happy to have you by my side, it feels good knowing that I can always come to you for anything. You’re all I ever wanted…I can’t lose you.” you can feel his hold of you getting tighter, as if he was scared that you’d slip away if he ever let go.

“I’m not going anymore Jaeyun, you’re stuck with me till the end.” you tilted your head up already finding Jake’s head lowered towards yours. You stared into each other’s eyes for a moment before nuzzling your nose against his. Jake giggled at the feeling causing you to laugh along with him. Loving the sound of your laughter, Jake wanted to hear more of it so he suddenly started to tickle your sides. Not even lasting a second, you started squirming and laughing. Failing to keep a straight face, Jake starts giggling.

“Okay, okay truce,” you managed to say. Catching your breath you say, “I’m tired now.”

Jake laughed, “Did I tire you out?” he reached out to brush a strand of hair out of your face, you nodded. “Okay, I think it’s about time to sleep then, c’mere.” he gestured for you to come closer to which you did. After calming down, you feel the tiredness slowly start to take over your body. Your eyes grow heavier, getting closer and closer to falling asleep. You hear Jake whisper, “My forever person.” before falling into a deep slumber.

୨୧ author's note — hiya lovies! so sorry for the hiatus as i was going through a pretty bad of a burnout, and had little to no inspiration to write. but finally i had time to strike up a bit of inspiration to write this fic!! hope u all enjoy a bit of jake fluff :)

“right this way, ma'am.”

as you were escorted into the venue, your heart was beating out of your chest. unlike every other concert or fansign you’d attend, you’d normally be wearing a staff name-tag with access to backstage. but here you were, hand clasping an engenebong, a vip lanyard on, clad in jake’s favorite colors.

in your other hand was a small sign that read “sim jaeyun, send a flying kiss!”

sitting alongside with the other engenes, your plan ready to be set in action.

a few days prior, jake had initially invited you to the fansign, but you declined with an excuse that you had uni homework due.

“darling, i have a fansign in a couple days, you’ll be there right?” jake asks, as he sits on your couch, snacking on popcorn as you cook dinner.

“this saturday right?” you ask, thinking of what plans you have then. but then you remember. “i don’t think i’ll make it yunie, my professor wants to have a quiz for extra marks. i’m sorry my love.” you confess, turning off the stove before coming over to him and giving him a pat on the head as he pouts.

“really? can’t you just miss a couple marks?” jake begs, still pouting.

“i’m so sorry ikeu, i’ll have to miss out on this one. i’ll make it up to you next time, okay?” you try to reason with him.

jake gives a slight nod as he opens his arms to invite you into a hug, which you accept.

that was a few days ago. you found out your professor had moved the quiz a day earlier, which meant you had the whole day for the fansign. as you were thinking of a way to tell jake, an idea popped into your head.

you picked up your phone and dialed jungwon’s number, as you explained to him your idea.

he managed to snag you a last minute vip fansign ticket, where you are now.

with you and jake’s relationship not out in the open yet, you weren’t expecting anyone to notice you, other than the members. you were more scared on how jake would react to your surprise, rather than the fans.

as your hands pick on your cuticles (by habit), the members came onto stage. with jungwon leading the way and immediately spotting you, followed by a couple others like jay, heeseung, and sunoo. jake on the other hand, seemed out of the moment, but he was trying his best to hide his sad facade.

sunghoon and ni-ki were trying to cheer him up, before sunghoon took a glance in the crowd and saw you in the second row, holding your sign. he gave a knowing smile, as he signaled to ni-ki to look at where he was looking. he immediately spotted you as well.

as the members gave their opening greetings and interacted with the fans for a while, they sat down as the fansign begun.

the fans started making their way, and as you were in the second row, you had to wait a while to talk to the members.

you had one minute with each member, and jake being the last member, you had enough time to calm your nerves.

as your queue number was called out, you sprayed the last bit of perfume, before walking over to the first member, jungwon.

he gave you a high five and a wink, signifying that your plan went really well, “noona! you made it! did my ticket work?” he asked.

“well i’m here so yes it worked! i’m so excited but anxious to see jake though.” you sighed.

jungwon gave a smile as he was signing your album, before the staff had to escort you to the next member.

heeseung gives you a smile as he laughs at what you’ve done.

“you know, jake has been whining on and on about you not coming to today’s signing.” he laughs.

you giggle at his statement, “has he? well i’m as excited to surprise him today.”

heeseung smiles at you before signing a little smiley face at your album, and the staff calls you to move to the next seat.

as you move through the next members, jay, sunoo, ni-ki, with similar responses, as you were finally arriving at sunghoon, you were scared jake was gonna notice you.

sunghoon saw you and immediately gave a smile, knowing your plan. although jake was sitting next to him, he was too enthralled with keeping his mood up to notice you.

as sunghoon was signing your album, you whispered, “hoon, what should i say to him?”

sunghoon smiled and said, “just be yourself, you’re his girlfriend after all.” as your time ran out and you stood up.

the second you sat on that seat, you opened your mouth and asked “so, do you like holding all those girls’ hands?” as you lift up your right hand.

jake lifted his head up from signing your album, eyes slowly widening as he realizes who’s sitting in front of him.

“darling? is that you?” he asked, his voice nervous.

“yes yunie,” you assure him as you take of your mask, “it’s me.”

he takes your hand in his, as he puts it on his cheek, feeling your touch.

you laugh at the cute interaction, smiling the whole time.

“but you said you wouldn’t make it?” jake asks, his pout disappearing and a light blush taking its place.

“i have my ways.” you hint at him.

as you two were holding hands as jake was signing a heart on your album, the staff signaled that time was up, and that you had to return to your seat.

jake held your hand one last time, before he tugged you and whispered in your ear, “meet me after this, okay?” he winks, before letting you go.

you smile to yourself on the way back to your seat, as a couple fangirls call out to you, as you hear some things like;

“girl did he hold your hand the entire session?”

“no way what did he whisper to you?”

“how are you not fainting right now? are you okay?”

you walk past them ask you put your mask on, and sit down lifting up your sign.

jake immediately spots you and your sign, before throwing a flying kiss. you really were his number one supporter.

oh he would be down as soon as your petition left your lips ... even though he seems like the type of guy who hates doing those "cheesy" trends he is way too down bad for you that he won't be able to say no. so there you are, leaving kiss marks on your boyfriend's face while he looks at you with the biggest eyes ever, admiring your features everytime you pulled away with a smirk on his face.

jay :

he would be more than happy, as soon as his girl is happy of course. when he sees you all excited with your red lipstick on, he couldn't say no and it was also a pretty cute idea he thought. you focused on his jawline, your favorite feature of him, going up to his cheeks and also leaving little pecks on his lips making him giggle a bit. moments like this are very precious to him, nothing better than spending time with his favorite girl.

jake :

puppy ikeu agenda is back ~ as i said in my post he would be the one asking you to do it, showing you the video and begging on his knees to recreate it ) : as soon as you said yes he was running to your room to grab one of your lipstick. grabbing your face in his hands he applied the red tint on you lips while biting his lower lip trying to contain his excitement. once you were ready he sat down and closed his eyes, letting out giggles everytime your lips brushed against his features. he was living a dream, feeling the happiest man alive.

sunghoon :

he would act roughly all the time, lips pressed into a thin line as you leave kisses all over his pretty face. in reality he was enjoying more than ever, goosebumps going up and down his body every time your lips touch his face. as the teaser he is he would turn his head to the side capturing you lips and kissing you softly, now his lips are also tinted in a reddish tone.

sunoo :

he wants to leave kisses on your face too!!! when you showed him some videos of couples doing that trend he told you that he wants to do that to you too 'you would look adorable baby please ~ ' he said begging you, and who are you to decline such a thing? so at the end both of you would have your faces covered in red kiss marks and his gallery full of pictures and videos of you both together.

jungwon :

giggling wonie is all i can think about. he would be giggling the whole time with his eyes closed focusing on the feeling of your lips all over his features. he would let you take tons of pictures of him right after so you can use one as your wallpaper. he would look so cute, his eyes shining, his natural bushy cheeks and his pretty features covered in kiss marks.

ni-ki :

he is a softie ) : he might be a little hesitant at first but he was actually waiting for you to ask him to do it. he played cool as if he wasn't the happiest boy ever at that moment. after leaving the first peck on his cheek his boxy smile would appear instantly, breaking his character completely. his hands resting on you hips and your trapping his face 'babe that tickles' he said, moving back a bit and letting out a soft laugh when he saw your lipstick all smeared.

a/n: jake has been bias wrecking so hard, and after that live?? oml. so this is the aftermath of me watching the live :> this is more of me just writing out a random little blurb rather than writing

you looked at the boy in front of you, he was sitting at his computer, while softly humming to the song that was currently playing. you smiled to yourself, feeling incredibly lucky to have such an adorable boyfriend all to yourself.

“ikeu” you called, from the bed you were sitting on. “yes dear?” jake replied, turning towards you, tilting his head. “wanna hear what you’re listening to” you said, removing the sheets off of you and shuffling over to him. he moved the chair back so that you were able to pleasantly sit in his lap, “comfy?” he asked, you nodded in response. he took an earbud out of his ear and put it in yours.

the two of you hummed to the songs playing, while enjoying the close proximity amongst one another. everything about this moment felt right, the way jake’s arms held you close to him, how your neck fit perfectly in the crook of his neck, or just the fact that you were with the one you loved most.

you moved your head away from his neck to get a better look at his face, “y’know these glasses really suit you” “i guess i’ll have to wear them more often then” “though at the same time you kinda look like a middle school nerd” you laughed.

jake felt as though time froze, his favorite person right in front of him, with a smile that was so pretty, sometimes he couldn’t understand what he did to deserve this, to deserve you.

he took his hands and cupped your face, jake stared at it for a minute, observing your beauty. any insecurity that was present on your face were things that jake saw as perfection, they just added to how wonderful of a person you were. he smiled at you, before moving your face towards him. jake’s plush lips touched yours, something you could only describe as bliss.

you pulled away and couldn’t stop yourself from smiling, his actions were contagious. “how the hell can someone be so cute one second, and hot the next?” “i could ask the same thing to you” jake mumbled pressing kisses to your cheeks. “can’t stay away from me for a second?” you questioned. “nope, my partner is just too pretty” “i love you ikeu” you said, “i love you more baby” he replied, pressing a kiss to your lips.
