Hot? take: You know that thing that both Invincible and My Adventures with Superman did where the love interest is like "you lied to me!" for keeping keeping a superhero identity secret? Well honestly in concept I feel it can be done well, the problem is that in both cases the show itself treats these opinions as the correct one, and expects the audience to agree. They expect you to think that "Keeping a part of yourself hidden when revealing it can mean very serious danger to yourself and those you care about is bad" is the right thought process. And you know, in today's culture I can't imagine why both of these were negatively recieved.

Ps I really like both of these shows but for both of them so far these moments have been the series lows
