After 1 million years, I have finally finished Mourynn's hair timeline!! I intend to do the same for her outfit(s) later as well (as it changes to match her hair bc she wears customized cultural armour) but I'll do those one at a time. Tbh I'm just happy that I was somehow able to achieve the hairstyle I had originally been planning for her since her creation (side-swept/half "shaved" hairstyle) and doing this exercise filled in her character progress changes and eventually lead to what I originally wanted! (also the default swept back hair is surprisingly hard to replicate so uh, I had to figure out something easier for myself Anywho, I have some abridged summary details for each hairstyle/story chapter under the cut to give these a bit more context Edit: I MESSED UP SOMETHING WITH THE TEXT ON THE ICEBROOD SAGA BIT. NOOOOO

Feeling absolutely devastated thinking about sylvari commander and aurene rn. something something they both had to grow up too fast because the safety of the world/reality demanded it something something sylvari commander trying to let aurene have as much of a childhood as possible because they didn't get to have much or any time as a sapling and it breaks their heart that their daughter is a victim of destiny like them

it's time for....damage facts

this may be shocking but her name is not actually Big Damage. she chose it when joining viper squad bc she wanted to match donner and daimhin (then merrit came along and COCKED IT ALL UP)

left the grove pretty early, spent a lot of her formative years in a large skritt scratch -- though she won't say which one. she still has a family back there, and due to how Literally Everyone In The World treats skritt she doesn't trust anyone about it

notably the only member of viper squad who doesn't have some kind of complex about glyndwr. a lot of this can be attributed to her being the most self-assured and confident member but it also could have something to do with the fact that she's older than him

loves the squad to death but never ever expresses it plainly bc she is, in her own words, "not into all that goopy shit." instead it comes out as a lot of biting and tackling which is maybe not communicating her feelings as directly as she thinks it is
