Do you guys like Kirby Air Ride? It's such a good game, even if it feels like only 10 people have ever played it. I got it like 20 years ago and I still play it weekly, if just to blow off steam and collect things in City Trial.
It frustrates me that we still live in a world where people are NOT mature.
Like, when you play a fighting game "online", you expect to be able to just pick up the game and play someone... but no, that's not the case.
People discriminate, they judge, and they pass judgement and all because they make assumptions about what kind of person you are.
I "tried" to play some Guilty Gear Strive this morning with my Level 35 Bedman... and nobody would give me the time of day for the better part of an hour... I'd sit there in the Tower, and anyone who ran in to me would refuse to fight me or walk away on the assumption that I was unskilled.
It's not even an issue of Internet Connection Stability, since I already set the region to be my own... People just want to either continue their win count, or only fight players with high stats to 'break' their own win count.
And the minute I win? They quit and play someone else.
Ishiwatari probably did NOT anticipate human nature on this scale when he dreamed for a world where fighting games could CONNECT PEOPLE.
And people throw a FIT because their Level 2,000+ character lost to a Level 35 character that just started playing online...
Playing people is supposed to be fun... it isn't supposed to be an EGO check. I'm not here to stroke your EGO... I'm not here to increase your win count.
I'm here to show people how I play and how I live my life. Proof that I exist as a gamer.
Yo I haven't spammed this in awhile, but every Friday at 8pm est I stream a Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 tournament. Tonight happens to be a South American tournament so we get to see all the player from SA. Come hang!
the price is way too high but HOLY SHIT DOKAPON KINGDOM PORT???????????
this is the most friendship-destroying game. it's like if you combined something vaguely Monopoly-esque with a JRPG. it's so good. it's SO GOOD. there are so many stupid shenanigans and ways to completely screw your friends over (and vice-versa). im frothing at the mouth. can't wait til it goes on sale for a reasonable amount of money
Now that a gameplay preview dropped, what are your thoughts on "...bedman?" ?
tentatively they look pretty strong, I mean the whole deal with the followup attacks looks like they might be able to do the kind of pressure ram does with her sword in the corner from basically anywhere. but like, depending on how the frame data works out the gaps might be easier to rps out of, so who knows
just looking at the move list though, bedman? definitely seems like, good. they'll probably end up somewhere between ram and sin in terms of character strength overall (which is admittedly a pretty big range depending on who you ask)
I am disappointed that delilah herself is just like a background effect though, I would rather it have been more like celica from blazblue or something
