ok sorry for the poor picture quality but i wanted to point this out, we don’t know what the rest of the forbidden five look like so i don’t know if it’s just nokt that has these features BUTTT their teeth and facial marking are very similar to the keepers of the amulet.

anywho nokt is the former master of storm (or lightning) and you can’t convince me otherwise.

(and we do know that a certain elemental master will be joining them soon hmmm wonder if that has any connections…)

Been thinking about Jay doing shatterspin;

To me Nokt is supposed to look like Some of the guys we meet in the island arc and it makes me wonder if his element will be something relating to lightning.

When he finds out Jay can control lightning He will basically became a tutor for Jay and take him under his wing because I’m sure he can teach Jay more than just shatterspin

I wonder if Nokt is gonna teach him something about combining elements with shatterspin technique.

Essentially the more destructive an element is by nature the more powerful the “Elemental shatterspin”.

And wouldn’t you know it, Jay is the master of 1.32 megavolts.

When Jay finds out how much of an ass Ras is he will try to get Nokt out of Rass control.

he’d either put on a wolf mask and do shatterspin or Nokt would’ve already taught him it and we’ll get a parallel to the “Kai learns dragon rising technique” scene.

and he will body the absolute shit out of Ras while Cinder just watches in awe and Is like “yo how the fuck is he doing that”.

Jays shatterspin would essentially be a recreation of the demon core.

Oh and you can probably throw in a “Jay is in disguise fighting Cole and Nya who think he’s dead because some asshat Ras hired has his powers, so they will not hold back against him and neither will he”.

The fact that Ras was able to easily overpower Nokt in one second to put on the electrical thing bothers me a lot.

Don't get me wrong, the thing itself being able to overpower Nokt makes sense, as he is getting electrocuted in the head. And unless Nokt was in Imperium at some point before being imprisoned, he probably never experience tech like that. Plus that just has to hurt.

It was the act of Ras just pushing him down and putting it on that bothers me, as Nokt is supposed to be extremely powerful.

It could be argued that he was angry and tired, which caused him to not fight as well, but for a strong user of Shatterspin, he'd probably still be a really good fighter in those conditions.

And even if he's only powerful when the gong is hit, he'd still probably be a good fighter, and would have been able to stand his ground against Ras for some time.

Honestly, I think if someone like Cinder was actively fighting him and Ras just slipped the thing on Nokt during the fight and then electrocuted him to take him down, it'd feel a lot more believable to me, as Ras isn't just using strength against a stronger person, but also his cunning.

The Forbidden Five each have a uniquely-shaped hat, so we can tell that Nokt is the one who will break Lloyd’s sword. And he’d better, no offense to Lloyd, because we did not spend an entire ten episodes revolving around freeing the Forbidden Five and hyping them up as world-ending threats (ten episodes used to be the length of an entire season!!!) just for our only properly-displayed member to be made an immediate fool out of. They better make up for this in P2 by having Nokt live up to the hype. I wanna see him utterly decimate in the Tournament of Sources and make Ras look like a punk who just got lucky. I want to see Lloyd get the beating of his life and have his sword broken right in front of him, allowing Nokt to move upwards and setting up another protagonist to defeat him. I want Cinder’s beatdowns to look G-rated compared to Nokt’s.

Nethershipping headcanons :] (forbidden five x Kai)

- the forbidden five r naturally very touch affectionate people so they like doing things like hugging, holding hands, etc with eachother and Kai

- kai thinks he can fix them

- forbidden five think they can make him worse

- both are surprised when it actually works

- bonzle is trying to explode them both with her brain.

- speaking of which, I imagine when Kai first met the three forbidden five members still in the Nether realm, it reminded him alot about Cole jay and Zane. Although the would never admit it.

- “sorry guys I’m joining the evil polycue now”

- Kai refuses to wear the hat but hes not above wearing the cape

- both bonzle and Kai learned the forbidden fives language (forgot what it’s called)

- Kai likes telling the forbidden five members in the nether realm with him about what he used to do in ninjago, his favorite restaurants, his friends, stargazing, sleeping under cozy blankets, all that stuff

- once they all get free Kai makes sure to take time to make sure they get to experience it with him

- it took him a bit to explain to nokt that he’s with them now

- when Kai finally was willing to have a hat, it took them like 3 weeks to find the perfect one for him because the forbidden five r extremely picky on their hats

My Dragons Rising season 2 part 2 predictions (None of which will prolly be true but it's still fun to speculate)

An Arin villain arc is upon us? I don't think it'll be like Arin goes full on evil but uses those wolf masks as a shortcut to improving

It's time! Please make Geo x Cole canon!! With Doc confirming that the Source dragon of life is non-binary and Bonzle is trans, they're definitely allowing queer characters in the show, so please, make them canon.

Euphrasia finally joins the main team? Please, that'd be awesome!! She could be like Zane or Cole's student?

I don't think Wu will return, I'm not sure Wu will return in any season of DR at all. He works so much better as a character haunting the narrative now that his students are mentors in their own right. If he'd return from whatever state he's in right now, I wonder what he could even do as a character?

I also don't think Jay is rejoining the ninja this season. He might go rogue from the administration but I don't think he's gonna regain his memories this season.

Kai isn't gonna stay trapped in nether-space forever. I know we have new writers but with ninjago I just have this bias that every Protagonist isn't gonna stay dead (or functionally dead like with Nya at the end of Seabound or Kai right now in nether space). Like I don't imagine they'd just practically kill off Kai when he just had such a great bond and arc with Wyldfyre. He'll definitely return from Nether-space before the end of this season.

Some more cool dragon designs. Not based on anything, I just want to see more dragons. Rontu and Egalt were awesome and I crave more

Maybe some more about Lloyd Dragon heritage cause I feel like that was largely ignored this season? Doc said on Twitter that that wasn't retconned, so hopefully it's at least mentioned.

- OH MY GOD NINJAGO IF YOU START MAKING ME THINK THAT GEO'S GONNA DO A WHOLE SCENE WITH COLE THEN I EXPECT LIKE...A MORE WHOLESOMETHING OR I DUNNO SHHSJAHSGJAHSGSHHS

basically, in the first scene of the ep its literally geo reliving his romantic time with cole and saying that he cant do things without him. and then when cole came back, it was so disappointing. like cant you have geo acting like he is in love with cole romantically or something? that scene felt empty

- bonzle is trans. like she becomes something that she feels better being and "comes out" to her "parent"/creator and the sorceress (i cannot remember her name) loves her the way she is. thats very sweet. (sora would be jealous)

- the nonbinary algae farmer shows up again! yayyyy (in the episode featuring dorama)

- theres a lot of glaciershipping moments here. makes me want to ship them more

- cinder reminds me of macaque from monkie kid. actually for a while i thought they shared the same actor...but they didnt

- woah jay appeared. whats up with him only getting less than a minute to appear on screen

- there were a few wyldcat moments if theres people who still support that

- jordana kind of reminds me of (the?) spot from across the spiderverse. like a wannabe villian and kinda succeeds type thing

- WHO THE HELL IS NOKT

- at the time that this is posted, the leak of wyldfyre having a boyfriend is censored, even in the subtitles. i guess thats a part ii thing
