I find it so funny that Owen's creative process really is just: 1. Be handed a sandbox, sometimes already good, sometimes subpar. 2. Say, I can make this little guy so much better. 2.5. Actor's prayer. 3. Ad-lib on set and blow everyone away. 4. Refuse to elaborate. 5. Leave. What do you mean he has to explain his """acting choices"""? They all come to him in a moment of brilliant improv, isn't that enough? Aren't you having fun? You should be! *bikes away*
Anon you've summed up his entire dynamic in a way that's about to make it impossible for the entire world not to fall desperately in love with him as we speak, but hopefully for his peace of mind and probably ours too things don't get that far 😂💖
Honestly his mind and approach to acting amaze me more and more each day and after becoming a fan and learning more about him I was genuinely shocked there isn't more general discussion about how naturally talented and hardworking he is?? Which probably has a lot to do with him being the type who doesn't like to call attention to himself or play the press game but I always find myself hoping he really does know how incredible he is since everyone who interacts with him on and off camera is left in awe of what he brings to a production and makes a point of mentioning his unique perspective is responsible for the best parts of everything he works on.
Also can I just add it's not only his improv in the moment that impresses me but how carefully he crafts a backstory for his characters?? This goes back to him constantly improving the sandbox and we don't get to hear as many details as I'd like but it's often mentioned he shows up with scripts noted with novels his characters could like/relate to, past jobs that suit them, literary passages relating to their state of mind, etc, and so on which is so cool and again not mentioned enough that he seriously puts time and effort into expanding the universes his characters live in simply because he loves telling stories and is one of the best to ever do so in my opinion 🥰
Then on top of all that he wraps then rides his bike into the sunset while the sound of radio silence echos until we inevitably see him weeks later picking flowers or grabbing a newspaper or some green juice in some random town like the example of living your best life that he is, truly couldn't ask for anyone better!

lots of talk rn about how fucked up the US education system is rn (like "8th graders not knowing the first 7 letters of the alphabet regardless of income/ability" fucked up) w lots of reasons given like covid, lack of parent engagement, "kids these days being lazy", etc. and while i definitely think at least the first two have impact on the situation
mostly i'm just like....... all of these things people are pointing out is problems that low SES teachers & students have been pointing out for decades. these are problems that students have been struggling with for decades in low SES schools. and now that it's applying to rich white kids too people are talking about it. but it has always been a fundamental flaw and issue in our schooling system. and the biggest issue here is, imo, that we are living in late stage capitalism & our school system was NOT built to handle a single thing going on rn. just like it wasn't built for lower-class students to thrive. the problem is now most households and schools are facing the same issues these lower SES households and schools have always faced.
but it's just a little wild bc for years the concerns and problems that teachers and students in lower SES schools have brought up have been routinely ignored and brushed aside and these students just got pushed along and the schools kept getting less funding and no one bothered to try and fix it so now we have a crisis bc it's happening everywhere

every so often i have doubts abt making bellum x linebeck like. a good relationship at the end of the day like they like each other and care abt each other. but it is for me and i do enjoy bellum being wrangled like an angry cat into situations where he HAS to be nice and HAS to refrain to killing everyone and in the middle of that development realizes he feels differently about linebeck than anyone else

❛ why did you bring me here? ❜ - Amadeus & Venti
Tumblr media
"Just... trust me. I think you will love this."
It was their first time together like this, no? Hand in hand, ready to fulfill a promise once broken, now mended. A promise to see the world together, a promise to be together.
Was that not what they wanted all those years ago?
Venti first took Amadeus to Liyue, where he urged the other to follow him up the tallest mountain in the dead of night. As the dawn drew closer, Venti urged the other to join him in song and dance--to pass the time, of course. The main event was intertwined with time itself, after all.
"Give it a few moments longer... and you will see the endless sky be bathed in light."

Elder Welder
At Elder Welder, we understand the heartbrake of a home robbery all too well.
After our own house was robbed and our traditional safe was easily broken into, we knew there had to be a better way to keep valuable items secure.
We searched for a solution and discovered the world of secret compartments. However, many of the options available on the market were lacking in realism. They didn't blend seamlessly into everyday household items and stood out like a sore thumb.
Wall Outlet Hidden Safe with Key Lock, Easy to Install, 100% Real Wall Plate Included, Hidden Safe for Money, Cards, Jewellery etc.

The freeing and yet mortally terrifying realisation that the slow slide into gender nonconforming-ism is NOT actually a 30-day trial that came free with the most recent sexuality crisis

seriously if you step into any offline queer space for like two seconds you'll be staggered by the actual diversity of nonbinary people. I knew someone in college who was amab and balding and had a moustache and dressed like a dad and used she/her pronouns exclusively. I knew multiple people who you'd assume at first sight were cishet who used he/she/they. there are people you can't sort into amab and afab because it's literally impossible to tell because they've been playing 4D gender chess for 30 years.
like. none of it matters. you can make as many boxes and labels as you want, it's not gonna stop people from just being people.
