Magicians Fandom,

I had said I was doing okay with this ending, and the decisions that were made, but I'm having a really, really hard time. I'm having a hard time seeing gifs, I'm having a hard time wanting to make gifs from earlier seasons, and I don't even have the motivation to write, or try to work past this somehow. I don't even know HOW to work past this. I'm ..not handling the finale well. I am trying to be strong for a lot of the others out there who aren't doing well either, but I'm struggling too, guys. Like, listen, I know it's just fiction, and that it's JUST a television show/series, but I have always been one to be empathetic, fiction or real life. It's one of my biggest flaws? I don't know if flaw is the RIGHT word, but.. you get my point, I think. I am struggling more so than I thought, and it hurts. It hurts because this show gave me the push in the right direction to what I want to do with my life. I want to write for TV. I want to write scripts, and maybe even direct someday. Which I'm also struggling with. But The Magicians is my go to security blanket. And now I feel like someone spilled red wine on my white pillowcase and it's not impossible to get the stain out if you know how, but I don't know how so right now it seems impossible. So .. I just need.. /something/. I don't know how to feel better. I don't know how to accept the fact that the writers, the author and @RasonJalph wrote QMC off the show. Again, I know it's not REAL, I get that, but the IDEA is real. Shouldn't that be enough? I know that everyone out there in this fandom is going through a rough time, and though it may not seem like it right now, but this, whole thing is going to pass, and everything will be okay. I'm not going to stop watching just because the writers decided this was the best option, because as I've said before, this show is my .. home. It's what I circle back to to feel safe, and whole again. I love these characters, and the cast and entire crew. They got where they are today because they ARE successful and they write spectacular shows and characters, and plots. We don't always have to agree with them. We don't have to like them all. But.. we liked them before and.. we HAVE to continue to like and love them even now, through hard and tough times, because our support means everything to them, and the more we show love and support, the better we will all feel. Why bash them for some storyline we didn't like/hated? They worked SO HARD on it! They spent weeks, months even on this season. And the acting was PHENOMENAL, the writing ( even if we didn't like it or what happened ) was still exceptional. If they weren't good at their jobs, then why are they on a world-renowned television network ? If they weren't good at what they did they wouldn't be around, and we wouldn't have any characters on screen to love and respect. I am still reading the series, but @leverus brought them to life on paper, and @serathegamble , @Reed_Dave, @johnthemcnamara and @alonsomyers brought them to life on screen. What else can we do, but tell them Thank You for all the good parts? Hell, even the bad ones, because they are doing it for US. They are working SO hard to give us things to love and look forward to. Don't bash them, guys. We can't do that. We can't say "I love you" one minute and "fuck them" the next. That is probably the worst thing to do. The more we yell and complain at them, the less content they'll give us. Like I said, Season 4 was ROUGH, and there were a LOT of negative, sad and horrible things that happened, but.. in the end, we still have the show and cast and crew, which we all loved from day one. Why change now? We need to be supportive of their jobs, and lives, not nasty & degrading because of a few bad choices. They spent time and money on making this series for us and they do a damn good job. So..On behalf of all of us in #themagicians fandom, even the angry "I'm not watching season 5!" ones, Thank You, @MagiciansSYFY and cast. You are ALL fantastic. This next bit isn’t part of the tweet it’s just added on, We need to be kind. We are all allowed to be mad, sad, hurt, angry, feel betrayed. I still am. I can’t even look at a gif of the finale without being anxious, hurt, sad, unable to breathe... But.. We have been with them since season one, and we need to keep them close to us. We all love them, no matter what. I am sad that we’re all so upset. I don’t want to see anybody leave. But you know what ? I’ll understand. Everyone will. And I am positive that the cast & crew will understand too. They may not say it, or show it, but they know it wasn’t good. They know they messed up. But.. thats show business. And we can only hope that it gets better from here. And it will. It just may take a little longer to get there.

So lets hold onto that.

Hope.

I love you guys, we’re all one big royal family.

( But Honestly, Fuck Fillory for being so disappointing. )
