Castelbouc Village is one of the many small villages dotted along the spectacular Gorges du Tarn. The village lies beneath a ruined castle sitting high above. According to legend the name Castlebouc dates from the Crusades: a nobleman who remained at home wore himself out satisfying women whose husbands were away fighting. He died of exhaustion and his soul in the form of a goat (bouc) was seen to rise above the castle.

城山桜公園へ行くと、早咲きの常光寺桜が散り始めていました。
城山には舘山寺桜、江戸彼岸、ソメイヨシノ、八重桜など数種類の桜が植えられていて、瀬戸内海を見ながらお花見を楽しむのにオススメの場所です。
この日は、エンジェルロードもうっすらと見えていました。
