so i decided to merge them!! this is gender neutral reader, teacher au, with both of the prompts below! this is sorta really short i apologize that it’s not the greatest but i’m just using writing as stress relief from all the papers i’m avoiding working on.... lol hope you enjoy xx

of high schoolers to be exact

which can be. interesting

you work at a private school, which means its not a huge place

the faculty is small, meaning you all know each other well

you’ve been able to meet some really nice people and find some friends

the only person you don’t get along with is your l o v e l y neighbor across the hall

but alas

chaos tends to ensue

one day the principal, aka YOUR BOSS, is walking through the halls as you reprimand jinyoung for his stupidity

you had gone into his classroom to borrow some supplies, which he proceeded to toss to you from his desk

which was all fine until you asked for the scissors

your temper was always so quick to ignite when jinyoung was involved

you have the same effect on jinyoung

“don’t yell at me like i’m a child!!”

“DON’T THROW SCISSORS!”

of course THIS is when the principal decides to walk in

that afternoon, once all the students have gone home, he reminds the both of you to remain professional

by hearing some of the boys in the hallway discussing it

its been a few weeks, filled with less fighting

yall still definitely argue

but you find that it never ~really~ makes you mad anymore

its just petty bickering that ends up with you back in your own classroom smiling like a dumbass

its not until nearly two months before the end of the school year when something happens

you are laughing through telling jinyoung about some of your students gossiping about a boy with a crush on you

apparently he wanted to give you chocolate and the whole nine yards

you found the entire thing h i l a r i o u s

but when you looked over at jinyoung he didn’t seem to find it that funny

in fact, he seemed upset ?

“what’s wrong?”

“idk,” he starts, “i know they are minors and shit but the thought of someone actually getting you gifts and asking like that…”

“what, you think i don’t deserve that type of treatment?”

he sputters, looking at his feet as yall keep walking

it takes you a minute, before you pause your footsteps and gaze at him

“wait a second, are you… jealous?”

his eyes widen

his mouth opens but like, no words come out ope

you both stand there, in the lobby of the school, staring at each other

“i mean,” he starts, clearing his throat with a cough, “yeah. i guess i am.”

now its your turn to be speechless

because what!!

you quickly regain your composure, though

“well?” you ask with a sly smile, “what are you planning to do about that?”

he grasps your hand, lightning quick

his eyes are still like saucers

its clear he didn’t think any of this through lmao

just as you break apart, a music student passes by, leaving to go home after practice

she stops when she sees yall in each other’s arms

“what the fuck!!!” she screams “you couldn’t wait two days!!! i lost the bet i had with my friends!!”

she quickly scurries away

you look back at jinyoung

and smile real big

because at one time you had an across-the-hall nemesis

but now its looking like you have an across-the-hall boyfriend??

Well, someone is popular! 😄I got these two almost immediately after reblogging the pertinent post, and before that I already got this ask 😂Hey op, seeing my same icon really confused me, for a moment lmao

A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
