This was an idea I came up with while doing Kanji copy work, and the character '悪' (warui) in the Kanji dictionary I've been using just comes with a whole lot of example words, all of which are negative. Which was when I was like, "I can so imagine Atsushi quoting this at Akutagawa" Also one of the pronunciations is 'Aku' which while a different Kanji from the one used in the name 'Akutagawa Ryuunosuke', is still kind of funny. Hence 'malice' being pronounced as 'aku-i' and 'evil deed' as 'aku-ji'

Didn't really know how to draw Rashoumon, but I ended up going with dragon heads. Cause I feel like I've heard it described similar to dragons somewhere, and it was fun.

I love sharing! In early 2018 me and @homosociallyyours got matching ankle triangles with a little bee over top of it, which is funny now because the bee as a symbol for being a louie almost immediately stopped being a thing and now on top of that is now used to mean something else in some louie circles: but that's fine because the tattoos were conceived around the fact that both parts have multiple meanings for us both so whatever happened would be fine... and I have my tri-ankle for Louis :) But the triangle plus bee would have screamed LOUIS TOMLINSON to fans at that time if any saw it I probably wouldn't have got a smiley anyway, but it wasn't even a thing then lol. Like he had his tattoo(s) but it had not become his literally trademarked Thing like it is now, the first glimmer of that was when he used it for test merch (which never saw the light of day) and then he really brought it in for show visuals and real merch later.

I remembered last night why I don't have people over.

Like, she's not wrong - I am TERRIBLE at painting walls. I have drips, I have streaks, I have spots where the old colour shows through faintly - but did that really NEED to be the first thing she said when she walked in the door? And then reiterated at various points through the evening? I WAS proud of the progress my husband and I made with this place.

The only times this woman interacted with me at all last night were to make her opinions known about my shitty housekeeping, or my weird decorating tastes, or my poorly behaved dog, all of which I warned her about, and all of which I gave as reasons that I was not super comfortable hosting. I just, you know, believed her when she said that she was coming over to see me, not my house.

The only reason we were there is that she didn't want to drive to the mall, which I get with gas prices as they are. But Jesus McFucking Christ, I am never having her over again.

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.
