But also I’m just saying, Scott McCall did not smirk like a smug asshole at the twins after taking apart one’s motorcycle to lure the other into getting caught with their motorcycle in the school hallway just for ppl to act like this guy was new to Shenanigans. You know what really slaps about Rimmer/Lister as a concept? The only Bleach timeline where I'd approve of Mayuri dying instead of Nemu is whereupon becoming a fully realised soul, Nemuri takes over as squad 12 captain and in order to cope with the grief of losing Mayuri, she discovers he had his genetic structure uploaded somewhere and she makes a whole new Mayuri (who goes by Mayu) and he's not his fully realised self yet but a continuation of his former selfs legacy, the goal to perfect artificial soul technology. Thereby ensuring a never-ending cycle of Mayuri + Nemu, then Nemuri + Mayu.

Whenever one dies, the other becomes their full self and gets to work rebuilding the other in a half realised form.

shout-out to the vfx artists on loki. fucking incredible imagery of the loom. absolutely mesmerising and reeks of power and possibility. it is just so cool how the many timelines were shown to be converging, angry, restrained, struggling.
