Finding the Right Name

For my first blog as a newbie on Tumblr I decided to share my search for my photography business name. The one I have that you can see below seems too normal and the same as everyone else. Use your name photography.com It’s not for me. I want to stand out with a business name that shows well in short, my work and me at the same time. It took me many years of hard work and a lot of practice, classes and starting my own photography club as well as finding a great mentor to have the self-confidence to show my work and to start my own business as a photographer. Whew, that was a long sentence.

The photo above shows my love for sunsets, nature, the mountains and just the right light to highlight what I am looking at. But as perhaps you will see in the future I am more than this in my work. I love spreading my photography wings and trying many different types of photography such as portraits, weddings, sports, music concerts, tons of different scapes such as seascapes, cityscapes and so much more. I guess you could say as a photographer I have a plethora of images I enjoy capturing and so my search for a true business name as a photographer won’t be easy (it’s true nothing worth it is) and that is okay I can do baby steps for now writing a ton of names down until I find the one name that fits. Wish me luck and thank you for reading my first blog on Tumblr. It sure is a lot different than back in the days of Myspace!
