it's right here and i have to admit i am one of those people who has a lot of trouble taking batman super seriously. my main exposure to batman growing up was basically osmosis of the adam west batman tv show, whether via my mom's LOVE for it or seeing it referenced in stuff like the simpsons and fairly oddparents. somehow the early 00s batman animated series only grazed me but i watched a metric fuckton of teen titans. i also saw one of those dark knight movies with a cute girl in school but i was mostly there just to hang out with her and the movie was secondary. heh.

so anyway there is a very bizarre batman that only lives in my head who is mostly pretending to be dark and brooding but is internally (and i guess externally as bruce wayne?) high camp and also robin's very embarrassing uncool dad. does this make literally any sense? i just think he's shaped.

ANYWAY... I actually do like the bones of Ai/Kyun a lot but it's one of those f/f dynamics I actually like way more as a really supportive Girl Friendship than I do as a romance. I think if they were gonna date, it would be one of those ships where they were friends for yeeeeears before romance ever entered the picture.

I mentioned this in a comment on @hexcodewisteria's excellent fic The Lyric Book (WHICH YOU SHOULD GO AND READ RIGHT NOW I AM NO LONGER ASKING) but the take I like on Ai/Kyun is one where there is a tenderness and intimacy that almost supersedes romance and makes it irrelevant in the face of the joy and relief of finding a person who understands and accepts you.

Without getting Too Personal, I'm a very romance disinclined person in real life to the point of being like 70% sure I'm somewhere on the aro spectrum and I also grew without the experience of having a close friend I could absolutely rely on until I was about 17 and my friendships with other girls and other queer people in particular were my salvation. So as much as I love it when The Girls Kiss, there's something really meaningful and powerful to me about intense and supportive female friendships in media too, because I see all the people who saved me in them.

something i don’t really see spoken about with regards to sizing inequality in the clothing industry is that even in brands which go up to like 3X you’ve got sizes for below a 30″ waist that are all an inch apart and then suddenly the moment you’re above 30″ it’s like either you’ll need a belt or you can try squeeze into the size down. good luck!

First impression: swayed by others, I hated him and made fun of him without reading anything about him lol why would i like the boring, fun police?

Impression now: i...i have a lot of complicated and personal emotions attached to him (we include Minimus, we always include Minimus). he's my embarrassing blorbo fella that i talk about 0 on this blog because uhhhh my thoughts are personalllll and not really worth writing too much about at the moment. maybe when i sort through my weird complicated feelings.

Favorite moment: ummm ;---------; i dunno every time he;s on a page ;----; a small thing but i'm very fascinated by his choice of holoform. i have THOUGHTS on it so maybe that whole issue when they go out to the bar and he gets drunk. lot of little nuances there.

Idea for a story: uhhhhh again I have many but there all rodimags tinged because yeahyeahyeah. I have a long wip I've been tinkering at for a while going into depth of Magnus/Minimus's trust and thoughts of Hot Rod/Rodimus throughout their history. The weird complicated feelings they both have for each other as their ranks and roles in each other's lives change ;------; yeah.

Unpopular opinion: he's not your dad. he's not rodimus's dad. he's not an Authority Figure nor is he Dominating in any respect in a personal relationship.

Favorite relationship: rodimus. on all fronts. I just think their dynamic has so many interesting point of convergence and their compliment and contrast each other. putting it into a short form response doesn't do it justice (in my mind that nothing is short). so yeah<3

Favorite headcanon: I think it was confirmed?? but I also may be mistake, but I love the idea that Minimus's alt is that of a turbofox. I think it is a fun idea:3
