Besides this, Artimës Prime uses his God-given talent to inspire & challenge others to think outside the box, “I try to convey self critical thought & open mindedness of different perspectives.” Prime goes on to say. Yet Artimës Prime's utmost skill is evoking emotions with his rap deliverance. He's very flexible when it comes to channeling fustration, motivation or sorrow. Like Artimës Prime said in his track "Don't Care," "I'm going to use this gift, spread it across the Earth/Plant the seed into your conscious/Allow it to give birth." He's really just trying to hit home in all aspects of life.

Led by his own story & a Chicago soul sound, Artimës Prime's moniker derives from a nickname that was given to him by his friends. He originally used Artie T but then he transformed his style & the moniker came along with it.

Seeing music as a universal language, his journey started with the King of Pop, "Michael Jackson was the first artist I listened to that made me want to pursue music." Prime adds "The way he commanded the stage captivated me. I started playing Viola when I was 9 years old, than picked up drums/percussion at 12 years old. I started listening to hip-hop right before then which led to my deeper interest in rhythm & percussion. I got my first drum set at 15 years old & started playing in bands a few years later. I started rapping loosely in high school with friends, then put out some recordings on YouTube. I began to take rap more seriously right before I turned 24." Ultimately, music for him was the best kept secret to total harmonization for all living creatures on earth.

Artimës Prime's strength in music is keeping up with the tempo, floetry, performance presence & putting the pen to the paper, "In today's rap game I'd change the glorification of ignorant behavior within culture & society today. Real rap is when someone speaks from a genuine point of view." Prime says

Likewise, Artimës Prime is moved by artist who carry these very traits. His list includes Kanye West, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Logic, Wu Tang Clan, Rakim, Wale, Notorious B.I.G, Outkast, Lil Wayne, Big K.R.I.T., 2pac, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre & J.Cole (who he'd talk to if given the chance.) To pick J.Cole's brain would be a milestone in Artimës Prime's career. Still, Artimës Prime hopes one day to collaborate with a local artist who he calls a legend: Reef the Lost Cauze.
