i dont want to speak on the discourse a whole lot but I will a little rn. Of note i did not watch the stream in which ctommy's house blew up bc at the time i did think it was like when cfundy did his april fool's blow up a fake server bit.

Overall, idc who did it or anything, but in general I can say i'm just sick of people blowing up c!tommy's house/killing pets/etc. (like that kill Michael stream for example under etc.). Like and it's not because c!tommy's my favorite character, it's just because it's boring at this point. Like i've said it a million times but it's not interesting that the guy who isn't allowed to have a home in lore, is told he needs to be "taught lessons", and is actively unsafe in his own home and has been for ages just can't have that home he's barely attached too and filled in the basement for. I can't name a single person other than c!ponk and her lemon tree that have not been allowed to just have that 1 thing for absolutely no reason.

It's just not interesting, and especially of the character involved this time (and other times) it just isn't interesting for their lore as enjoyers of their character arcs overall.

just a request for the proshippers - if you make rickorty content can you please use the main tags even if it's not morty prime and rick c-137. if you only tag the versions of them that appear in your work (eg. rick x morticia, evil morty x rick prime) then they don't get filtered by ppl who exclude the general rickorty or rick sanchez/morty smith tags.

Definition of a bad apology is saying "it was just a tiny mistake" and saying criticism is just "people assuming the worst of you and are being too negative and assuming your a bad person" and it's in the form of a song where you say "I'm not a groomer just because I made a fart joke" and you end the song with "what do I know fuck me right?" Mildly worried that when OFMD season 2 eventually releases, certain fans will have set themselves such impossibly high expectations that they’ll get pissy if they are not fulfilled exactly. Certain fans want specific headcanons to be made canon for season 2 and I know some will get unreasonably mad if they are not made canon exactly how they invision e.g. bearded Stede. Then they’ll bring down other fans by posting about how they are disappointed over minor things or how their headcanon is objectively better than canon/ other fans preferences. When let’s be honest, sometimes fandoms can agree on great headcanons, but sometimes not so much. Or at least have headcanons that are great in indulgent fan content but wont fit the tone of the show and be in character. Some people are going to become so goddamn entitled, pedantic and demanding, I just know it. It happens in every fandom. 

Of course, most fans seem lovely and wont be like this at all but damn, even just a handful of annoying people can really bring down a fandom. Please, just be aware that if you have unrealistic expectations, it’s entirely on you if you are not satisfied with what happens. 

#Generally if I find that I don't like something about a show/ movie I won't put said criticism in the tag of the thing where fans can see. #Or I differentiate between whether what I didn't like is down to my subjective preferences or something objectively bad. #E.g. something I love to see in a show others will hate and vice versa #our flag means death #ofmd #Honestly I don't get involved with discourse anymore and haven't for a while #I will just block and move on if I see people being negative assholes but I still don't want to see it. #OFMD makes me very happy and is a great distraction from the stresses of life.
